Q: i play sand volleyball and im thinking about getting my belly button pierced. I see a ton of people with theirs pierced who play, but since sand is starting up i feel like if i get it right now itll hurt bad if i dive on it/get sand in it, or will it be okay? thanks

well i wouldnt recommend it at the moment. you should try to get it pierced when its not volleyball season because if you just get it and then play it might interrupt the healing process if you're always active. besides, if you get it now, it is recommended that you don't swim for risk of infection and summer is coming up, so you don't want that.

Q: I just found out I got diagnosed with mono today. It was almost obvious I had it but I'm just wondering if you guys have any advice for me. See I've taken more than 15 advil in 24 hours and I know that is really dangerous but it's the only thing that stops the pain for a little while. My throat hurts so much I rather be dead then face the pain. Is there any remedies I could use to help my throat feel better ? I already gargled with the salt water and used cough drops. It seems the advil is the only thing really helping. Is there maybe any stronger painkiller out there so I don't need to take one every 4 hours?
Also does anyone have any experiences with this? I want to know what to expect and just ways to make myself feel a little better.

Q: Anyone have any ideas why a father won't let his 17 year old daughter become a citizen of the United States when she has lived there for eleven years and is planning to live there for the rest of her life?
(And yes I'm the daughter, my parents aren't citizens of the USA, and I'm already a citizen of the country I was born in, but I want a dual citizen ship. My parents don't want to become citizens of the USA).
So, any ideas of why he isn't letting me?

he's probably afraid that if and when you become a citizen, you won't have pride in your own countries and you won't celebrate your own traditions. there is also a possiblity that he might want to move back to your home country and bring you with him ? idk, these are just a few ideas.. hope i helped.

Q: I have three friends and there this girl first she calls my sister stupid Just because shes special, then she acts like shes all that when shes passing her invations, to her party then she ditches us when a new clique give her a chance to hang out with them. Then turns out that she gets in a fight with one of the girls of that clique. And wants to hang out with us again so we give her one more chance.And that clique gets jelous and wants her back and she ditches us again for them. But wait now the leader of the clique dosent like her so when she comes back they tell her that they didnt want to hang out with her no more.And guess what she does next she comes back wanting to hang out with us me and my best friend say no we dont want out hang out with her but my other 2 friends say we do. And I say, fine but if she stays I leave and they let me leave. and Finally i tell that girl off and a couple minutes later she starts crying and but was I right to leave my old friends cause of this?

well, i know you're probably pretty pissed, but never get mad at your friends because of the people they associate themselves with. you can disagree with them about if certain people are good or bad, but never tell them that they are wrong for hanging out with certain people. they can make their own decisions about who they want to hang out with. if you don't want to hang out with them because she's there, then you don't have to, but don't be mad at them. if they don't come back for you, then they aren't and weren't very good friends in the first place. if they do, then you know that they are good friends.

Q: How long would it take to gain about 30-45 ponds? I eat fruits and fatty foods but weigh about 110 or something close? Don't tell me "oh you don't need to gain weight" I just need a straight forward answer.

it should take a month or two, depending on your metabolism, what you're eating, etc. to gain it in a month or two, you'd have to just keep eating junk which is incredibly unhealthy. you could do some weight training, it'll help you gain weight faster because muscle weighs more than fat, and it'll be a lot healthier. if you don't want to eat junk to gain weight, you can eat chankonabe, which is a very healthy soup that sumo wrestler eat to gain weight. it'll help you gain weight fast, but it's very healthy, so you'd probably lose the weight as fast as you gain it, depending on how much or how often you eat it. if you would like to try it, here are a few recipies i found online:

Q: so right now i wear glasses. as in 24/7 :P

contacts aren't hard to get used to at all. i got use to them in a couple of hours, but then it kinda depends on how well you adjust. and if you were to get contacts, you'd probably only wear contacts except at night when you take them out before you go to bed, or in the morning when you wake up before you put them on. i got contacts in december, and they are DEFINATELY worth it.

ask your cousin to get him and you in the same room. it doesnt have to be you two alone, but where you guys can talk. ask him if he has a girlfriend, you need to find out FROM HIM, not a secondary source. whether he does or doesnt, you guys can still talk and be friends, but if he does, then, well, you probably know, he is off limits. but if you guys get to know each other and he really likes you, hey, you cant stop him from breaking up with his girlfriend for you, right ? so basically, talk to him and get to know him, first as a friend, and if he is single, maybe you guys can get to know each other a little better than "just friends"

uno: i don't think you're too young, but if your mom thinks so, it's gonna be hard to persuade her to realize that you're not too young. just keep arguing with her when the subject comes up. it might help if you do your chores without being told, do your own laundry, etc., it shows responsibility.
dos: well, actually, i think three weeks is a little long now a days to not have a first kiss, but it all depends on where you grow up, so yeahh. it varies from couple to couple who makes the first move. if you think you want to kiss him, then make the first move. if you're too scared, just wait for "the moment" you'll know it when it comes.

they must be atleast somewhat decent looking, taller than i am, and have a good personality. they have to be able to be themselves and not be influenced easily by others. they must be loyal and a good friend as well as a good boyfriend. oh and for some reason, i only like guys that dress nicely and look clean. i don't know why, but yeah, that's just how it is. besides that, nothing else really matters.

the toungue is one of the most painful piercings. after it is done, usually, your toungue is so swollen for the first two days you can barely even keep it in your mouth. if pain is your biggest fear, i wouldn't recommend piercing your toungue.

go on google and look up a free clinic in your area. just go in, tell them you want birth control pills and to keep it confidential. if you ask them not to tell, they can't. they'll give you a check up and i think most places are free, but i'm not sure, it depends on the place.

it is a possibility that he would be locked up again. it just depends on what he was locked up for before, and why he isn't allowed to see you on probation. most likely, he WILL be locked up. but who's gonna prove that you DID see him and that the baby is his ? you could say you never saw him and the baby is someone elses. you have to wait a week after your first missed period in order to take your pregnancy test. remember, not all pregnancy tests are right for everyone. some brands may not be as acurate as others.
