personally, i would wait until the seasons over to get it pierced, therefore you have slight to no chance of getting it infected soon after you get it pierced.

but if you want to get it done now, im sure it would be okay, just as long as you clean it right after your done playing.

just to be safe id ask the person whos going to do the piercing if its okay.

If and when you get it pierced, ask whoever does it if there is a special bandage you could wear while you are playing the sport.

Perhaps some gauze and a large band-aid would work. That way, sand won't get in the piercing and cause infection. If you do wear the piercing during the sport, you should try to wear a small stud instead of those dangling ones. There will be less chance of it getting caught on anything.

I wouldn't suggest this.
You will irritate the piercing and it will reject. You should get it when the volleyball season finishes instead.

well i wouldnt recommend it at the moment. you should try to get it pierced when its not volleyball season because if you just get it and then play it might interrupt the healing process if you're always active. besides, if you get it now, it is recommended that you don't swim for risk of infection and summer is coming up, so you don't want that.

obviously if you dive on it it's going to be a little painful. but you could put tape, or a bandage over your belly when you practice volleyball or anything like that.
