Ok so I like this boy and apperently he knows. My friends decided to message him on Facebook to ask him if he likes me and for his cell number and all of that. There may be a chance that he likes you. Guys will not lie and comment you "cute" if they do not mean it. I mean, then he just wouldnt have commented at all. I suggest, though, for you to stop going around the topic, making your friends ask him out for you or to see if he likes you, and to just go for it and flirt with the guy. I mean, I dont know how old you are, but most guys really like it when a girl is up front with how she feels and isnt afraid to express it.

I am in college and I currently live about an hour away from my family. I have two younger sisters, 14 and 16, and my family is moving from Minnesota to Texas after this school year. I have really fit into my college and really like it here, I even managed to set it up where I will be able to graduate a year early. But I feel like I should be closer to my family and more importantly closer to my younger sisters to be the protective older brother. So, should I transfer schools or should I stay?

Check if the college you would go to if you moved away is any good. If you like it, then you should consider it. Moving away isnt that bad. But if you really like where you are currently studying, then dont move. Plenty of college students live very far away from their parents. There will always be skype and phone calls.

I would like to learn french. where i went to school, French was a maditory class until grade 10. My marks were not very good but I would still like to learn on my own and teach myself for various reasons. I am just not sure where to start. Any suggestions?? so im turning 18 next month, and i want to find something FUN to do. after the 10 year old little birthday parties passed, all i've ever done is go out to dinner with the family and maybe a friend or two, but never anything really exciting, even for my 16th. i cant go all out and extravagent because we're not loaded, but i want it to be memorable. so far im thinkin about going to the Hard Rock Cafe for dinner with the family/friends and maybe getting a hotel room in Atlanta for the night with my friends, but i dont know what after that? i'd LOVE to go to a club, but only like 2 of my friends are goin to be old enough to get in with me. its still an option, but yeah. ughh gosh. any ideas?

Anyone know EASY WAYS to apply contact lenses?
I've tried to place them on the bottom of my eye with my head tilted up. But everytime I try to put them on my eye, it never sticks on, like I fit it wrong.

The main problem is that when I apply it to my eye, it still stays on my finger and won't stick to my eye.

im scared that i might POKE my eye. so i take it out immediately and start whining and crying. im just tooo SCARED!! anyone feels the same?

Make sure you have it on the right side. And that its centered. Cant really explain it. I just open my eye, put it in and then blink. If you need me to demonstrate it then i guess im me in msn or something.

You'll eventually have to hurt his feelings somehow. The best way is to just tell him straight foward that you only see him as a friend. Do this if you dont want to lead him on. Now what I would do since im a coward, is just ignore his calls sometimes. Like sometimes pick up and sometimes let it ring. And if he gets the courage to ask you out, just tell him "Sorry, Im not ready to be in a relationship right now". And just act normal around him.

im 17/f umm i live in katy,texas & i pretty much hate it here. im a senior so yeah. but for college im staying here. & im going t U. of Houston. i don't fit in here at all. ever since i moved he re in 8th grade im always getting made fun of. in school, or even like when i go somewhere people from my school will be there & make fun of me and laugh at me. i guess its because i don't say anything. but sometimes i do they still will make fun of me. & i guess it's because im really skinny, and people call me a monkey. and i guess it's because i kind of have alot of hair on me. like on my face idk. & i think its also because im not like other girls who get dressed up for school, nd have make up on, and my hair done. in class no one really talks to me and i don't even know why. i don't really talk to anyone because most of the time i get stuck with the popular kids who're in my class & i don't think they like me at all. this is my senior year and i want to be the girl that everyone wants to be around. but how? please help me!!

Well, we are pretty much in the same situation. I also dislike living in south fl. About fitting in, im sure you fit in with some people. Just go up to a random person in class and say hi. Act confident so that the popular kids have no fun in making fun of you. If they do, dont be afraid to argue back. Try to smile a lot, for some reason, people like that. I know everyone says this, but be proud of your body. You do not know how many girls in my school would love to be skinny. So basically, just ignore all the negative comments and focus on the positive ones. This is your senior year!!! Have fun and focus on your studies (the most important thing in high school). :) Good luck

Hey! So tomorrow is the 1st day of school and I'm going to be a sophomore. Now, I know I shouldn't be that scared because last year was the 1st year of high school. Trust me I was freaking out last year also. I'm going to the same school and all, but every year since 7th grade(middle school) I have freaked out about school. And it's basically about the classes. I get soooooo scared about how hard the classes are going to be, because some of my friends took them last year and they say the teachers are mean, and the homework and class is hard. And now every year, like I said since middle school, I have been freaking out. I'm a super perfectionest(??). Everything with me has to be "perfect" or else I freak out. I worry that if I don't get All A's and B's that I won't get into college, and my GPA won't be high enough. I'm not the smartest person ever, but I do get A's and B's. I suck at taking tests. Seriously. I get mainly F's and D's on tests, but what keeps my grades up is the homework, which I don't always do so hot on eaither. I just don't know what to do. I've tried telling myself that everything will be ok, and everyone goes though this and has to go through high school, but for some reason I just keep worring. I get sooo stresed out about things, and sometimes when I think about it too much I tend to get really hot. It's weird. Do I have a problem? And what should I do about school? I know, and I tell myself, that I was super scared last year and I did fine. But I just don't know what to do!!!! Is something wrong with me? I don't know what to do about homework, grades, and teachers eaither! Pleasee help me! Sorry this was so long! Thanks!

Wow...I am just like you. Look here is what I do...I freak out, but I call my friends and they help me keep my mind off of things. If you only get As and Bs then you have nothing to worry about. Teachers WILL like you if you work hard in the class and if you study. If you dont like the class, then just go see your conselor and change. Relax, my sophmore year has seriously been my best year. Its actually the easiest year in high school. Prepare to make a lot of new friends and to have fun. School is not that bad. One the first day passes, your fears will fade away. But you're like me, we tend to worry a lot for no reason. Do you have an online website that says your grades? If you do, check it now. Cause mine already has the schedules on there. So do your hw, study for tests, cheat...haha.., befriend your teachers, and have fun. This year is going to be a blast for you.

Okay then if you dont have to go to the doctor, then just buy the color you think will look best. I was just suggesting. You can always just go to the store and pick the prettiest color. Yes, if not prescribed, they're less. A lot less.

Well since I'm basically blind..lol(I have hyperopia) I needed to go to a doctor so he could check my eyesight. And there in the hospital, they sell fresh look. It was like 60-80 bucks for a box that lasts a year I think. But if you have 20/20 vision, then you dont have to go to a doctor. Just buy it anywhere. I'm sure they sell it in walmart/target/k-mart etc. I have lots of friends who dont need contacts to see, but have colored ones. I use the color green. But thats because I have dark brown hair and fair skin color. It depends on your looks. I really liked the green ones. They looked real. In the hospital, they allowed me to try on several pairs to see what color I wanted. So maybe if you go, theyll do the same.

It actually took me about 4 days to get used to it. They taught me in the hospital how to put it on/take it off. But I was still afraid to take it off because, well you have to stick your finger in your eye. But eventually, I calmed down and it was nothing. Really, I think its totally worth the few panicking moments you first have. But hey, you might not panic like I did lol. My cousin got used to it on the first day. It all depends on the person.

16/f..i'm about to be a junior in a week. and well..my wardrobe hasn't changed much. i did buy a few new clothes but found that i had enough from last year...and they're pretty good-in-quality-clothes so i thought eh. what the hell? i'll just wear them next year.
also, our family's on a budget right now..so i can't get around this. would you be embarrassed to wear the same clothes next year (in addition to a couple new) ? =\ it worries me. like what people would think...

I wouldnt be embarrassed wearing the same clothing i wore last year. I do that all the time. I buy new clothing, and extend the variety of clothing in my closet. But still, I wear my old clothing. The older the better. Most people wont have it. Besides, no one really cares. Im sure people are too busy with their lives and dont find the time to realize that you are still wearing the same clothing from last year. The main thing that matters is the confidence you wear with your clothing. If you act insecure, then people will think you are pathetic and then they just might start criticising your clothing. However, act proud and no one will care.

3. I have them and I've never gotten irritated eyes.

At what time do you generally start talking to the admissions people at the college you want to go to? Like in relation to the start of the school year.

Most early admissions are due in december. So I would say, starting your first/second month of school.
