I am very scared of skin cancer - but I do go tanning in a tanning salon. I live in a very cold part of the U.S. and I look very bad without a tan. Also, creams and spray tans just make me look orange. Is going to the tanning bed 5 or 6 times a year going to give me skin cancer? How can I protect myself when going to a tanning bed? Can I wear sunscreen or something with SPF in it? (link)

Tanning is so bad for you. I used to go a few times a week, because I hate being so white during the winter. I was the person that didn't believe in the sunless tanners, because I thought that they turned my skin orange and that I looked blotchy. I finally found a self tanner that is awesome!!! It's called Clarins self tanning gel. It's a little pricey, but it works wonders! I have never had a streak from it and it gives you a nice bronzed look! Tanning is also pricey, so you're not spending much more on the sunless tanner that won't harm your skin. It's def. worth it.

Clarins self tanning gel is awesome! I have used it for about a year now and I love it! It's a little expensive, but it's totally worth it. Check for it on e-bay, it's a little cheaper on there. You can find it at any major dept. store or Sephora.com. I have never had a streak from it and it gives you a nice bronze look without looking orange. I have recommended it to many friends and they all loved it and continue to use it.
