When should I start?

Question Posted Tuesday August 12 2008, 1:38 am

At what time do you generally start talking to the admissions people at the college you want to go to? Like in relation to the start of the school year.

Most colleges have deadlines anywhere in between December and January. If you're a senior, it's best to start now [even in the summer]. What you should do is google "request information about [name of preferred college here]" and fill up the forms. They'll send brochures to your home in about 2 days. Or you can just go to the college's website and go to where it says "admissions". You can email them, call, or even schedule a visit with the person in charge of admissions. Good luck <3.

Most early admissions are due in december. So I would say, starting your first/second month of school.
