You should probably try working hard at it.
Making your own designs
You will learn from yourself. If you just draw sketches of shirts, pants ..etc you will start to have your own unique fashions.
Every one below me had great ideas, I agree with them too. Sketching designs, was the beginning of me becoming the best at fashion that i possibly could be!!

I dont really like black hair
it looks good on some people but if it is long and stringy .. ewwww or if it is SUPER SHORT ewww.
I am a natural Brunette, so i'm used to brunette hairr.
but if its smooth
and straight.. or wavy

I have a question about what to wear with skirts. I am very new to this. I haven't worn a skirt by choice before. I was thinkin of wearing one to school for the first time, because my boyfriend has only seen me in pants since we have been dating haha (11 months) and i have decided to wear a skirt for him. My question now is what kind've shoes would you wear, like i find it weird to wear boots with a skirt or running shoes with a skirt, could ya help me out? Also any other advice for wearing skirts. I think if its like a denim skirt you should wear ugg boots or some kind of boots or flats..
maybe even heels.
But if its a colored skirt find a pair of shoes that matches well with the skirt =]

Im getting a hair cut tomorrow and I want to look really different. This is my hair right now:

How do you make layers look good?
I've tried doing it.. and it looks out of place.

ok!example one- try a bright colored v neck shirt that goes down with a brightly colored pink, purple, blue, yellow, white, or black and white striped t underneath with a simple pair of jeans with a really pretty necklace example one.
example 2-find a pretty long-sleeved shirt ( ANY COLOR) color example Brown with a tanktop on top of it color example.. white with brown sequins. Its easy like that

*kind of a lot of intro into my question, sorry*
my birthday is in the summer, and so is my best friends birthday. my other friends is coming up soon.
my half birthday was just a few days ago, and my friends half and my other friends real is coming up soon.
so we have been saying for a few years now that at school we would celebrate each others half birthdays (and real one for the other girl) since we dont get to celebrate with each other during the summer.
last year my friends did nothing for me, but i got them something, by no means was it anything big but it was still fun and cute and all
this year we have been talking about it for weeks. they have been saying that we need to do this and that for each other and really celebrate this year. when my day came up, nothing. nothing at all, just like the years before.
at the end of the day i subtly reminded them of what today was, just in case they had been planning stuff but forgot(which would have sucked anyways) but the next day i went into school and still nothing.
so it sucks that they did nothing for me again ok? right!?!? YES!
but then that same day they start talking about what im going to do for them, they're like you need to do this for 'so and so' and ill get her this.
and then 'so and so' is like, you should do that for 'missy miss' and i'll do this.
they are like saying that i should wrap their lockers and buy them balloons and presents and all this shit.
but they never did anything for me! NOT ONE SINGLE THING! NOT ONE SINGLE YEAR!
i mean, it terrible what they are trying to do to me but i dont want to be mean or rude to them...(even though they deserve it...)
--Should I just suck it up and be nice to them even though they really hurt my feelings?
--Or should I just do what they have been doing to me, ignore it?

Don't get them anything and when the day comes be like.. i didnt get anything. And tell them how that made you feel.
Or if you really want to tell them how you feel first and if they so oh, im soo sorry!! its on backorder(lol) or something like that you can get them something for their birthday's too so they don't get mad at your.
But if you feel revenge is the write thing, go ahead.

Okay, I've liked this guy since I was 12. I'm 15 now, about to be turning 16 in about 2 months. Anyways, I finally got the courage to ask him out the other day, and he said yes. :] Now, he's perfect & things are going well, but that very same day, he found out that he was going to Iraq. [He's a marine.] He leaves in mid-January, and won't be back til about mid-July. Now, I'm not breaking up with him because of the major leave he's about to take to fight the war, but I'm worried that I won't see him again. When I was about 14, I had two friends in the army, and they both promised they weren't going to be killed, or hurt, and they both ended up dying a month apart from each other. I trust my boyfriend when he says he's gonna be fine, but I never know that, and the thought of him not coming home to me in 6 months bothers me. And it's really eating me up. He's still at base right now in North Carolina, and he won't be coming back up to New York until the 22nd, and I can't wait. But we only have 10 days together before he has to go back to base, and then I won't see him for 6 months. So, not only is he missing my 16th birthday, he's also spending his birthday over there. It doesn't bother me that he's missing my birthday, because after he comes home in 6 months, he's here for 15 days, and then off for another 6 months. So, he hopefully should be home in time for my 17th birthday, and my junior prom. I love him to death, and I would hate it if he got hurt or whatever while in Iraq. How in the hell do I cope with this, because I used to cut [and I haven't cut in months], and I don't wanna get depressed & start doing that to myself again. It took a lot to get me to stop, and I don't wanna start again.
How do I cope with this because I'm going insane already, and he hasn't even come to New York yet. :[ (link)

you shouldn't forget about him but think;;
he's fighting for you, your country.. our country. you can't start blaming yourself and cutting your self. I'm sure he will be ok and i hope everything works out

Kay. So I`m preppy- polos, miniskirts A&F and pearls, the whole 9 yards. So.. I'm running out of outfits and styles, any ideas? I`ve done the polos & pearls... and the leggings & skirts.. and the uggs with jeans... oh and cashmere sweatersss... but I`m running out. Just like you, i am a preppy person also. I wear turtlenecks and fluffy scarves. With little snow caps in the winter. I am into the whole "sweater thing" and not many kids are seen in my school in turtlenecks, i personally think they are really nice.
Another great idea is wearing a shorter shirt with a longer shirt underneath it!! it looks really good.
One that goes about 3 inches or 4 of your belly button than layer it iwht a shirt underneath it.. it looks good

I've been trying to learn the song 'Ordinary Day'
by Vanessa Carlton for some time now, and I have everything down except when it gets to the bridge. Passed that I don't know what to do. Like, when she sings 'as he asked if I would come along, I started to realize, that everyday he finds just what he's looking for, and like a shooting star he shines, and he said, take my hand, live while you can. Don't you see your dreams lie right in the palm of your hand.' I have everything before "and he said" after that I don't know what I'm doing. So is there anybody who knows what comes next, or knows a site that has free online sheet music, that can give me the sheet music to this song. I'm so sick of being alive. Everything is so hard. I can't stand it. It's like I'm doing something wrong. I have few friends, but it doesn't matter because I don't like them. I don't like any one. People don't meet my standards and they never will. And when it comes to girls I have no idea what I'm doing. It's like there's some secret technique that every one but me seems to understand. My problems with girls contribute the most to my loneliness and depression. I'm unmotivated in school, because I care more about trying to find a place I belong, trying to find some one who understands me. I can hardly sleep because I'm always worrying about all this. I'm scared I'll never have friends. I'm scared I'll never have a good job. I'm scared I'll never have my first kiss or have sex, and if I do it will be with some one I don't want to do it with. Somewhere between now and the next few years I 100% sure I'll be dead. I can't take it anymore. I've been to therapy and they even locked me up like a criminal in a mental health ward, but to no avail. I hate life. I hate myself. I hate every one, especially if they're happy. I don't see things ever getting better. Please help me. And don't post anything about God, Jesus, or religion of any kind, it will be an automatic 1 on your rating. (link)

I am so sorry you hate life, but you can't give up like that. You can't kill your self the best is yet to come and you will never know what it would be like if u never gave life a chance. One day you will have your own family, and if you dont thats ok. Not everybody loves their life. Its a hard thing to find. I don't love my life. You don't have to. There is a point in everyones life where you feel left out and hated. But you know what, theres somebody. There is somebody who loves you. Don't give up on your life. I'm sure your family must love you and you should deffinitley talk it out with your family. So many people in the world kill themself. Its a terrible thing and I hope you dont kill yourself.

Ok right, is it ok for a guy to straighten his hair ? Because i straighten my fringe..because it luks stupid without it straightened, but i don't think many people realise i do. Anyway, one person in my class made a comment about how only gay guys straighten their hair :| and i was..:(..because i'm not gay.

I am 15 years old and i have really dark circles under my eyes and fine lines. i didnt have them during the summer but when school started i must be stressed because all of a sudden they showed up. I do realize the questions about hair straighters do get asked on here pretty frequently but i have another one to add unfortunately.
I am getting a Chi straighener for xmas but i am unsure if which model to get. The only place i have seen them new with a warranty on them is Folica.com so i guess my only options are the versions on that site.
I want one that i can use every day on my hair and will give me atleast a year out of it and keep my hair nice and straight (its kind of thick and wavy/curly now) and i want it to be able to curl my hair a little bit too (i was told the older model is better for this)
Any advice or help on choosing is awesome because i read the reviews but they really don't help much! (link)

I have the small CHI and it works great. it was $160.00 but it was deffinitley worth it. I say go with the smaller chi (( if that was one of your opptions))

I really want soft beachy hair like Hollister Co. models. I really don't want to load tons of gel or other products in my hair and give it that "hard, crunchy" feel. I don't mind using some hair products in moderation to achieve the look. I have mid-back, thick, straight/lots of volume hair. Any ideas on how to get the style? (link)
