Question Posted Sunday December 10 2006, 3:08 am

I'm not good with matching clothes.

How do you make layers look good?
I've tried doing it.. and it looks out of place.

Are there certain colors to wear together and everything?

I want a more mature look. I'm 16 and I dress all comfy. (like t-shirt & sweatpants) I want to look good, you know?

ok!example one- try a bright colored v neck shirt that goes down with a brightly colored pink, purple, blue, yellow, white, or black and white striped t underneath with a simple pair of jeans with a really pretty necklace example one.
example 2-find a pretty long-sleeved shirt ( ANY COLOR) color example Brown with a tanktop on top of it color example.. white with brown sequins. Its easy like that
hope i helped

Wear low cut shirts with camis. If you want a pretty look you can use a lacy cami. Wear short sleeves together as long as one is a tad longer than the other. Things like that. It usually doesnt matter what colors as long as its not like orange and black and weird colors like that. Haha. If you have any specific questions, just ask me.

a lot of things i do when i layer up is usually for school. i'm not one who likes to wear super low cut shirts for everyone to see, yet some of the cutest shirts are like that. one of my favorites is a really low cut shortsleeved brown one...but i wear a nice bright pink or bright orange tank under it. usually if the shirt is low cut, any tank/spaghetti strap top will go well (if colors are matched correctly). popular color choices are hot pink and black, pink and chocolate, black and white, and red and black.

Here in England everyones going fashion crazy, and hun theres something out there for everyone.. so lets see if we can get you sorted.

Black - Black goes with near enough anything and everything. Remember that :)

Layers:
Leopard print is really in here at the moment. Not over the top leopard all over but a simple black Tee with a strappy leopard print top over it. You could complete the outfit with a denim mini and black 3/4 leggings. As for the shoes flats look great with this kind of outfit.

Bright colours are in. Pink, blue, orange, yellow. Any of these colours look GREAT over a black or white tee. As for the style of t-shirt to go over the tee..look about and see what you can find, strappy tops/tank tops etc.

If the weather is colder where you are then wow, theres so many options! Long jumper-dresses look great with leggings and if its a lowcut/v-neck or something like that then a plain tee or other shirt would look great.

Jeans, theres so much you can wear with jeans! Layers, jumper/dressed (with uggs, knee highs or whatever takes you fancy). A tee would also look great, perhaps tighter fitting or something to take away the "comfy" feel and appearance, you could wear beads or chains or something to make it look better.

Accesories:
Every girl needs accesories. You can accesories almost any outfit. Beads, bangles, belts, anything you can find.

Take a friend with you to the mall to help you pick out some stuff. Just experiment and have fun.

Well i think thats enough for now, if you want any more ideas then leave me a message in my inbox.

first of all to match clothes dont put (example two greens together if they are not the same shade). only put clothes together if the top is (example light pink and one color/solid and the bottoms are dark pink and one color/solid). and to dress more conservative look for slaques and a nice blouse. or you could just go to a store like areopostale etc. or even wal-mart etc. and find a ncie pair of jeans and a nice top. dont wear sweats everyday only if you feel tired or you are in a sport.
