i've liked this kid from a different town for like half a year but i didnt realize it until recently. he started acting really flirty and i started to like him more. and then i told him about a week ago. i havent really talked to him much since, he hasnt really been online. one of my friends says maybe his computer crashed or something, because he was really nice and wouldnt just avoid me but i dont know. any help? I know how you feel. That's pretty much how it always is. You tell them and then it feels wierd. Just don't act like it never happened, act like, it did happen but its nothing like BIG. lol. Just be cool about it and don't freak out. Guys can sense those things. Even though they can't sense anything else, they can sense like, freaking out and it freaks them out so just be cool and talk to him.

I've been thinking of becoming bulimic for awhile now... and I don't think there is nothing that can stop me, I just need to lost the weight because I feel so fat and left out all my friends are skinny and im fat and I hate it and it will stop when I become bulimic... im not going to stop (link)

Well, first off, there was no question in what you wrote. Also, have you tried a diet? I mean, give EVERYTHING a try.
Do you know that bulimia almost killed two of my best friends? They started to throw up blood and do you know what that means? That means that your throat is about to rupture and you're going to die. Almost every girl in the entire universe will feel fat at one time or another. I have thought about bulimia, but so have hundreds of other girls.
You don't lose weight fast either by being bulemic. My friend was bulimic for about 6 months and only lost around 15 pounds. My mom went on the low carb diet and lost 6 pounds in a week, so think about it. If you do low carb for about a month and try to do NO carbs at all for about 4 days a week, you could lose at least 20 pounds. In a MONTH. But I honestly think that you are not fat, just self concious.
It is also very painful to throw up. You have to stick your finger in the back of your throat for a long time so you'll throw up because you can't just look at the toilet and say "I want to puke,". You're eyes water and sting and your throat burns and you'll just be hungry all the time because after you throw up, you'll just want to eat and then throw up again and you don't really lose weight that way, do you?
And bulimia also affects your teeth. It makes your teeth yellow and disentegrate so you won't be making yourself prettier. Guys won't want to look at an ugly smile and your friends will just be giving you the same lecture I'm giving you right now. You're beautiful the way you are.
You are probably beautiful and not fat! I thought I was fat at 115 pounds but then I slowly began to see that I wasn't. Think before you start. It could truly save your life.

Hey does anyone know where to find black jeans that are flared? Like stores that hold them. I hate straight-legged pants.. and whenever I try to find black jeans the store helpers dont seem to GET that I want BLACK jeans.. not a different material of pants..
Either that or they point out some dark clue jeans and I don't understand how they think it's BLACK. I don't want gothic pants or anything, I just mean simple black flared jeans or some cute black jeans that AREN'T straight-legged, because I honestly need some new clothes and have wanted them for the longest time.
So anyone know what good stores to look in for this type of stuff?

TJMax always has awesome jeans. They have Angels brand and Angels are awesome. I'm actually wearing black jeans that are flared by Angels right now. Go to the mall and stuff. Just look around, even at Marshalls and Ross, they have awesome jeans just like black flares.

yah i know her...she is only about 11 now so we are like 3 years apart..i highly doubt she has it b/c if she did have it it would be from her parents and my mom is best friends with them so i'm sure i would have found out if they had anything.i barely ever get sick if anything twice a year at the most...do you think if i had HIV i would be getting sick more than that since it's been 7 years which is a long time?

Ok. There is totally nothing wrong with being bisexual. Don't run from it. You may not be sexually attracted to these girls, but only find them beautiful. Also, every girl goes through a stage where they think they are a lesbian or bisexual. But realize that there is nothing wrong with being bi. You have more selection, lol. But you can't stop yourself from being bisexual. It's just the way you are, I suppose. I mean, you may just be a phase so don't freak out.

I completely understand. It's kinda gross in a way but you were seven so you were curious. Well, there are no symptoms of HIV and AIDS. For HIV, there is one symptom and that is a flu-like illness after it was transfered. The same thing with AIDS. No symptoms what-so-ever. You could feel fine but the disease could be really hurting your immune system until it is so damaged to the point that you get sick alllllll the time. BUT, do not listen to any of that. I HIGHLY HIGHLY doubt that you have HIV or AIDS. Do you still know the girl you encountered? Have you talked to her lately? Don't freak out, I doubt you have anything.

Wait....you can't have sex with a girl because technically, girls don't have penis to insert in you and therefore it couldn't have been sex. And explain to me how you knew about sex when you were seven...I mean....you don't even really have hormones then...I don't think you got HIV or anything because you can't have anything really inserted inside of you to transfer it.

My mom pays for my health insurance, so she gets all the bills and statements. I want to start birth control, but I really don't want my mom to find out. Well, yes. He did use you. He most likely thought that you knew that it was a two day stand. He definitely used you. He just wanted some sexual crap to happen and he is an asshole. You should most likely forget about him. I'm really sorry that happened to you, but you should have been going out. I'm sorry.

This is kind of illegal just to let you know, but one of my friends did it because her home school was dangerous. Ask a friend or neighbor to have a phone installed in your parents name before school starts so you can get a bill, take the bill to school and that is your proof of living in the district. I know its wrong, but I dunno. Just a suggestion.
As the people who have answered before have said, yardsales, babysitting, cut grass, wash pets, wash cars, petsitting, clean pools, clean out garages, clean peoples houses, clean peoples windows, clean out peoples cars...that's all I can really think of. I'm really sorry you have to move.

Today, my family and I (14/m) were out playing sports. All was well for a while. Untill my lil brother started to misbehave and be uncooperative.I got vexxed, but i controlled my rage untill we got home.
At home, i was still vexxed.
(since my birthday is about a montn away)My mom asked me what i wanted for my birthday. I told her "i want my brother to be gone for my birthday. that would be the perfect gift."
She got vexx at me. so vexx she couldn't speak. Sheleft the room.
I went to look for her later and i found her crying. what i said really got to her emotionally. she just looked at me like everything was lost.
that look got to me. i am sorry i told her that.
but i dont know what to do.
What should i do?
i can't let her feel like she grew me up wrong- i am her 1st born. she will just give up with the others too.

There's not really a specified way to become outgoing. It takes time to make your social skills perfect. If theres a cute boy at the mall, make eye contact so he knows your interested and if he reacts back, you're good to go. Just be like "Hey. What's up?". You don't want to come on too strong. Just take it slow.

I don't think it's YOU who is doing anything wrong. Trust me. I think guys are blind (no offense, only some guys). If they don't see how beauiful you are now, then they don't deserve you. Don't let your love life mess you up, you don't need a boyfriend to keep you happy. Sometimes it is better to wait. I had my first boyfriend when I was eleven and it SUCKED. I haven't ever had a really good boyfriend. So sometimes it is better to wait.

Well, there is a difference. It is entirely possible that he likes you, but you'd have to ask him and see. We here on advicenators have no idea whether he really does or not. I don't think you should listen to rumors. You need to hear what he thinks straight out of his mouth.

I don't see why you don't like Walmart or Target. If you just want name-brand, thats kind of stupid because after all, it is just a bra and its not like anyone but you is going to see it. Trust me, Target has good bra's, or Ross or Marshalls. I don't know if you have a Ross store where you live, but they have good bras. Give every store a chance. You never know what you might find.

I don't think it is because of your race. You are probably beautiful. I do have to say that guys like more outgoing girls. Shyness is wierd for them because they are not always up to making the first move all the time. I mean, they don't want a one sided conversation or even worse...a one sided relationship. I understand that it's hard for some people to not be shy, but just work on opening yourself up. Talk to strangers and make new friends, even guy friends. It will help you. Even if you are nervous when you talk to someone, just laugh if you stutter, just be like "I can't talk right today" and smile.
If you like skater boys, go for the skater boys. Just ease into talking to them.
