Health insurance

Question Posted Monday April 25 2005, 9:02 pm

My mom pays for my health insurance, so she gets all the bills and statements. I want to start birth control, but I really don't want my mom to find out. If I get a perscription for pills and fill it, how will it show up on the insurance statement? Will it show up as something general or will it say what the perscription is for? Thanks in advance.

It will show up what it's for. Better off just telling her. You might try your local health department. They may give it to you for free or a very reduced price so that you can just pay for it in cash. :)

I know this really isn't an answer to your question but go to plan parenthood. If I'm not mistaken they give it to you for free.

sk8emerica, that was mean. Atleast she's using protection. I don't think so.

~Hope that helped~
