Q: Hey I was just wonderin how you get people to ask you questions for your own inbox. Do you need a specific number of questions answered? Thanks.

I was wondering this when I first made my account.. (not too long ago..) But you can't GET people to send you questions, you go to "Random Question" (Which is under 'Hive Advice' on the left side-bar)and answer as many questions as you like! I think only 3 people accually SENT me a question! :) You need 5 questions answered to become an Offical columnist, though. Well, good luck on your column! -Ce

Q: I have dark brown hair, blue/green eyes, tan skin, I'm 5'5, and I'm skinny. What kinds of makeup will bring out my eyes like eyeshadow? I'm a prep so I wear preppy clothes from American Eagle, Abercrombie & Fitch, Aeropostale, Weathervane, Hollister, and other stores. Please help me with my makeup lol. Thanks

Well, scan through 'preppy' magazines.. they have all different types of models, find one with dark hair and green eyes.. I'd choose a silvery eyeshadow.. or a darker green to bring out your eyes. for a sultry look, go darker for you makeup (Clothes too!) for a happy, peppy look, brighter colors.. it never hurts to mix and match, either. Black eye liner works for everyone.. dark brown eyeliner would look great too! I love eyeliner, so get some varying eyeliner for the top lid.. go on some local department stores' websites... and browse the makeup department! Try different brands and find the brand that works best for you! Have fun! -Ce

Q: This may not be the right category, but I couldnt find a better place. I just found out today that one of my friends from school, that I graduated with passed away yesterday. His friends were going through his cell phone, found my number and called me. I had one class with the person, we always flirted with each other and talked about hooking up. I never called him after we graduated because I thought, yeah hes to good for me. Well, he still had my number in his phone and I feel bad for never calling him. I want to go to the viewing to see him one last time and to pay my respects to him. He was a great guy. But, then again, I dont want to go because I want to remember him from how he was before. I dont think I could handle seeing him in a casket. I dont know what to do. Should I go to the viewing or not? The viewing is Friday..so I need answers soon. Thanks!!

I'm so sorry! This is such a heart-wrenching situation... what your feeling is what most people go through in the grieving process. You should definatly go to the viewing, and pay your respects.. people WILL understand if you don't go to the casket.. find people you know.. if you want to see the casket, that's up to you! Memories are so important, and even if you see the casket, you'll have more memories that you can tresure forever. Reassure yourself that he isn't in pain anymore.. I am SO sorry about your loss, no matter how many people try and reassure you, you are the only person who can make YOU better. Q: ok here it goes i really like my best friend but i dont think he likes me and i dont know how to ask him and i don't want my other friends asking him because i don't want them to lie to me to make me feel better and i was just wondering if anybody knew how i could tell if he likes me or not

I went through this.. but the best advice to get through this is to take the plunge! if you don't try you'll never know.. gather up your courage! BEFORE you try that, try to be his best friend.. make sure you'll be a GIRL-friend.. but, you might become 'one-of-the-guys' (so to speak) So make sure you add some flirty stuff, make some moves.. Q: I'm 15 years old & have been with my boyfriend for a few months. He's not a virgin and he's done sexual things with many girls. He told me he was ready to have sex whenever I was. I feel like I don't live up to his old girlfriends and that I'm such a good girl - being a virgin & unexperienced. I'm a little scared to have sex but when will I know I'm totally ready and mature enough to do it? Is it that wrong to not be sexually experienced at 15?

It's not wrong to be 15, and a virgin! If your his girlfriend, then you are obviously better in some ways than his ex's, right? I bet they are wondering how they can be like you! But you have a great guy if he's saying that he'll wait until YOUR'RE ready! You picked a good one, so don't be pressured in to giving in! Only you'll know when you want to have sex. Make sure that he's the one you want to do it with, and not have regrets later! I know that you'll make the right choice, you picked a good boy-friend! -Ce

Q: Im going to a new school this year, and its my freshman year. The school that i'm goin to has a freshman building so it wont be as hard by bein picked on by older kids, but im still scared. i went to a private school for quite a while and now im not sure what to expect! And me and my best friend were both going to leave our private school and go the same public shcool , but at the last minute --7 or 8 days. her mom changed her mind and now shes not goin there any more with me so im really scared! Can you give me any advice to help out or anything? ive never really had problems fitting in but im not sure if i will. Thanx a bunch!!

I'm going to be a freshman too! Freshman power!! :) New experiances are.. well, new! You shouldn't be nervous.. and if you want to get advice from someone who has been in a public school all her life.. People will prob be mean, but at the same time, soo many people will be nice! Public schools are very diverse, so there will prob be some people that will have come from private schools.. don't worry about this! Q: Okay.. so me and this guy have been hanging out pretty much all summer.. hes knows i like him n i know he likes me too.. everytime we hangout my bestfriend is right there with us.. kinda like the third wheel.. sometimes i feel like she likes him.. or that he likes her.. This is a confusing situation, and I bet it's fustrating. When you and your friend aren't hanging around that guy, talk to her about him. If she's your best-friend, joke about how you and him would make a cute couple.. see what she says, or if she doesn't say anything, judge on what her body language is saying that her words aren't. Then joke about how they would make a cute couple. You can usually tell if she likes him, if she acts kind of shy.. or smiles at the thought of the idea, then she prob likes him. If she doesn't like that idea of him and her.. you should be happy that you could go for him without feeling bad! But you also have to consider him, he might see you as a friend. But take the plunge if that's what your heart is telling you. I hope things work out in your favor! -Ce

I go through rumors too! Everyone does.. except if their the people who start the rumors.. so I'll give you the advice that my cus gave me, "Hey, they're jealous of you, that's why they do that!" They're prob mad since you made the team, or you kissed that guy (who is prob very good looking :]) The best way to cope is to stay close to your friends, they're the best people to have when you're feeling awful! They make situations so much easier! If they are the ones starting the rumors, then that's what family is for! I hope the rumors die down, they aren't fun! -Ce

I've got this quote from a movie "You have to try and forget about what pesters you about your [friends], and embrace the good things" or, ignore what annoys you, friends are friends. Look at this from your ex-friends' point of view.. they are acting like themselves, then one of their friends dump them for just being themselves. If you think that they are 'annoying, childish, and down right lame' then they prob think the same way about you! I'm not going to sugar-coat this for you. You are dropping them for stupid reasons and you should get over yourself. You may be mad at them now, but soon you'll realize you've liked them all along!

Q: after u eat ALOT is it bad to make ur self throw up just one time ?? i know i wont get like obsessed, but it it bad for just 1 time?

"Just one time" that's how disorders start. You convince yourself that you haven't done it in a while, so you'll 'only' do it twice. Don't sweat this is if you know you'll never do it again. Maybe you just experimented to see how it worked, or how it felt. If you find yourself getting in to the habit, tell an adult or a close friend. I don't think it's bad if you only do it once.. a lot of people experiment, so you aren't weird or different! It can be REALLY dangerous if you do it a lot, it can seriouly damage important stuff in your body. I really and truly hope you make the right choice! Don't worry about it! Every girl starts at their own time! I was the last of my friends to start.. but consider yourself luck that you haven't started yet! It's messy and gross! Girls aren't programmed to start at the same time, that's what makes being a girl great! -Ce

Getting over people you care about is tough. Your ex might not be ready for a great girl like you yet :) Soon the pain will fade, and you'll be liking other people! This is normal, don't worry! Your body is just regulating your period! It happens in all girls when they're young (I'm assuming that your like.. 12-14) Don't sweat this, this is normal.. it's all part of growing up! Hope I helped! -Ce

I've heard this song "Age Aint Nothing but a Number" and in most cases, it's true! No one chooses who they like.. it just happens.
But, unfourtunatly, if your 15 and he's what, 19? So if you get in to the technical stuff, you're a minor, and he's... not... but prob already know that.. :) If you want to know where it's going, ask your heart! Well, don't feel confused. You need talk to your boyfriend and see if you can get some reassurance from the relationship! You're obviously not happy with YOUR relationship if you feel the same way about another guy.. don't try to start something with your bestfriend's boyfriend.. that's being a boyfriend-stealer, and you don't want that on your rep. I'd wait atleased a month after they break up, that's IF they even do if you want to start something with this other guy.. Make the right choice! -Ce

Q: y do i get mean questions in my inbox from people on this site...why are people so mean?

There's a lot of mean people in this world. Do you know who sent them? Some people don't try to be mean, but sometimes people don't THINK! If they are truly bothering you, then my suggestion is to make another column.. start off fresh, ya know? I'm sure they didn't purposely TRY to be mean to you, but it justs how you interpret the questions being sent to you. Well, I hop you feel better. There are nicer people in this world! -Ce

Q: I love my boyfriend very much, but I spend 90 percent of my time critiquing his driving skills when I am in the car with him. I don't do this with anyone else. When I drive, I would get horribly mad if he did this, but he is an angel. I do drive occasionally, and he really isn't that bad of a driver. So other than giving up my chauffeur, what else can I do to focus on something besides badgering him like a freak?

Apoligize before you get in the car, say your sorry and you'll try your best not to pester. A LOT of people do this. I've heard of someone trying to work the petals FOR the driver. So reassure youself that you'll JUST appriciate the ride.. when you feel the urge.. just put on the radio.. hope I helped! -Ce

Q: Sorry guys.. I wasnt sure what to put it under.. But... Thursday i go for my road test.. and I'm extremely nervous.... and I know when the day comes I'm going to like freak out.. and I have a feeling i'm going to do bad... I drive really good. But when I'm with people I dont know I tend to make stupid little mistakes... What can I do to keep myself calm while i'm taking my road test...

One this is to not FREAK! I'm pretty sure driving teachers are use to nervous people trying to get their licence for the first time.. (or any time) If you forget about your worries and focus about what you can do right and GOOD, then just relax.. when you're taking the test, try to keep your body looking relaxed, but make sure you still pay attention to the road. For obvious reasons :) The night before, try taking a nice warm bath/shower. Then before you fall asleep, tell yourself that you ARE a good driver and that you WILL do good. Q: I have been with my current boyfriend for quite a while, and I love him greatly, but I have begun to realize that I still have feelings for an ex that I had a while back. He was probably the first person I truly cared about, but then he ended it. Getting over ex's is tough. Talk with your current boyfriend, see if he's happy with the relationship. If you do talk to him, don't make it sould like your breaking up with him. I think you need reassurance from him. If things are meant to be, you'll be happy that you'd stay with him. About your ex, if hes the first person you truly had feelings for.. you're prob going to have feelings for other people you date. If you really want him back, then go for it. Q: I am a 15 year old female, and i have been having a lot of sex in the past two years. Im not pregnant but i havent had my period in 2 months i have been throwing up in the morning. Im not sure i dont want to tell my mom but i don't know what to do PLEASE HELP!

The best thing to do is not over-react. I'm not saying not to react at all.. Some teenage girls' bodies are still growing and your body might be regulating your period.. but if your positive that you might be pregnant, there's help lines such as planned parenthood. search them up if you'd like.
