Ok so i really wanted to go to this really good, expensive private high school for years now and my friend that just moved away is going there, but my best friend isn't going there. I don't really want to wear a uniform and i kind of want to go to a public school because if i went to a religious school would there be any relationships? I'm so confused!

AHH!! I'm in the same position kinda! Is the private school co-ed because if it is then you'd have relationships lol. Private is just like public cept theres less kids and if it's an expensive one there will be snobs. If you really want to go to the private school do it. You'll still see your best friend. What I did was I worte down the pro's and con's of each school and I made my choice from that. You want to think of the education you'll be getting more than the social life. Good Luck!!

i know its wrong but all my friends have had sex, and thats all they talk about so i told them i have had sex too and i was like centre of attension... i know its wrong to lie but i hated feeling left out. Now i have got this boyfriend hes like well older than me about 4 years, and he understands i want to take things slow but now all my friends make comments like "dont do anything i woudnt do" and "use a johnny".

I didn't read any advice people wrote below so I have no idea if its similar. I've been thinking the same thing except all my freinds haven't but I've really been considering doing it. It just made me feel like imature in comparison to the people who had done more and not equal to them. Then one day randomly I was talking to my mom about some guy and she was telling me that your virginity is YOURS! Thats your pride and your jewel. Do you wanna give away what is yours without someone earning it? That's yours you only have it once and once that moments over you won't get it back. That's what I thought and I realized it wasn't worth it. I'd rather be able to say I'm a virgin and I haven't done it with tons of guys. It's a matter of respect for yourself, screw everybody else & that's the truth. Don't do anything just because someone else did. I used to be best friends with this girl.Then i started to like her and all was going well in our relationship.Then stuff happended and we had a big fight.Its been months since then i just want to be friends with her. Well I don't know really about the outfits but I have kind of the same features, auburn hair, white skin, and hazel eyes. I've noticed green and turquoise look really good on me, they might on you too. There's no real outfits/size I can tell u because I don't know your body type. Some good stores are Charlotte Russe, American Eagle, Aero, Forever21, Kohls, and Target has some cute stuff too. Just go w/ your own style and what you like best on yourself. Have fun!

i need a way to cope with stress i have no one to talk to know one gets me im emo and im 14 female and all alone i'm a cutter and i hate myself and it seems like im the only one thats like this because everyones so preppy help also i get depressed alot

I know how depression is, I'm there too. I just try to stay busy and do things to get my mind off of what's making me depressed. You could watch a movie or invite people your not good friends w/ over or go do things w/ them. I understand you taking your depression out on yourself, but you really shouldn't. What happens if you finally get over your depression and have scars on your arms reminding you of what you did to yourself. I've always thought what if I do get better and someone sees these scars and everyone starts rumors about me being a cutter and making me depressed again. Or what if you parents found out they'd make you go to a therapist or something. I'm not saying it's a bad idea but personally I wouldn't want to go to one. I have a best friend and were both 13. We have been best friends 4 12 years and we still are. We go to a small private school so our class consists of the same people since kindergarden. Our class only has like 4 boys and there all jerks! So we have all girls friends, but not many. Were getting tierd of the girl fights and whining! So how do we get some guy friends?

OMG I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM!!! My class consists of 12 people, 6 girls and 6 guys. You meet people at mixers and hang out w/ cousins your age to meet new people. {if you have a cousin yur age} Join sports teams. Go to public school camps, you will meet a lot of people. That's what I try to do. I hate private school and the cat fights! So hope that helped!!!!

I wouldnt worry, you could just be a late starter. Also, if your very athletic and skinny that plays a role. I knew some girls who hadn't started when they were 16 because they were very athletic and pretty small. Don't worry!!You'll get it!

About 6 weeks ago I was dumped over the internet by my long term bf. He did it in a very cowardly and cruel way with no explanation- pretty ignorant for a 3 year relationship. Everyone is telling me I'm better off without him. When I first met him I thought he was mr. right- he was caring, attentive; and charming. But then I saw his true colours. He would yell at me for no reason; get extremely jealous when I talked to his male friends; constantly put me and other women down; was a womanizer and cheated on me; and had a porn addiction. The meanest thing he ever did was stick his face in mine and yell "I"M SO SORRY"! after I told him his friends at a party were making me uncomfortable. I started writing a list of all the crap he did to me to make me feel better. But there is still a part of me that misses him when he was nice. Does anyone have any methods for how I can get over this jerk? And why do I still want him after everything he did?

The only way to get over him is to not talk to him or see him. You still want him bc you really cared for him and still remember the good he did to you and can't seam to forget it despite what he did wrong. You've got to focuss on the present and how he treated you now not then. Try finding a new person, put yourself out there. Have friends hook u up on dates. Hang out w/ people more, stay busy. I'm really sorry, it happens to all of us at times. You really do diserve better and don't forget that. Good Luck & I'm very sorry!!

theres this calender contest thing they're doing at my orthodontist, where you pick a month out of a hat and you have to make a picture for that month that has to do with the month and braces. well the only reason i'm doing it is because the winners get an ipod, and i really want one lol. i picked january, and i have NO idea what the hell to draw. anybody got a good suggestion?
