i need a way to cope with stress i have no one to talk to know one gets me im emo and im 14 female and all alone i'm a cutter and i hate myself and it seems like im the only one thats like this because everyones so preppy help also i get depressed alot
emochic1229 answered Monday May 5 2008, 4:09 pm: i know were your coming from because im in a school were everyone is preps and im the only emo, let alone cutter...i have a bf that hates when i cut so i have to always hid it from him and it really sucks... maybe you could try and do a sport to get cutting and stress of your mind... you never know what will work unless you try it...

She ended up in the hospital for it 2... She was always depressed b/c she had been raped and her best friend died in a car crash and she couldn't get over it… so if all that’s happened to you or more than that… I can empathize even though it’s never happened to me… i may not be emo... namely b/c i don't like labels... but i have had a lot of emo friends... and cutting yourself sure ain't gonna help with stress... and even if you think you don't have anyone... you can talk to me... missmissgurl answered Wednesday July 26 2006, 1:05 pm: I know how depression is, I'm there too. I just try to stay busy and do things to get my mind off of what's making me depressed. You could watch a movie or invite people your not good friends w/ over or go do things w/ them. I understand you taking your depression out on yourself, but you really shouldn't. What happens if you finally get over your depression and have scars on your arms reminding you of what you did to yourself. I've always thought what if I do get better and someone sees these scars and everyone starts rumors about me being a cutter and making me depressed again. Or what if you parents found out they'd make you go to a therapist or something. I'm not saying it's a bad idea but personally I wouldn't want to go to one. another thing is to stop being an emo kid it might help a lot. you'll get a lot more friends if you quit being emo!

A good way i cope with stress and depression is to exercise, or do what i love to, swim and bikeriding. you can take out your stress on your bike by pedaling really fast and hard, and swimming can help with your depression. I don't know how, but it has always helped me.
