I like dancing, music, Jake Gyllenhaal, t-shirts, comedy, summer nights, funny movies, and photography.
I hate perfectionists, although I can be one, people who edit their pictures with peace signs and dumb quotes, and flies.
I like giving advice. I don't know if I'm any good at it. Nobody has told me either way.
Ask me whatever, I'll do what I can to help you out.

Hey everyone, basically I need rainboots. I'll be a sophomore in college and I come to realize that where I go to school, when it rains, it POURS. I hate ruining my ugg boots or any other shoe that I have to wear when it's pouring outside. So does anybody know where I can order rainboots? I know target has some but does anybody know where else I can buy them? I would prefer a website so I can order online. :D Thanks

I have straight dirty blond hair and im getting a body wave perm before school starts again. Right now i usually either have my hair in a messy bun or i scrunch it or straighten it i only usually use Aussie Instant Freeze Gel. So my question is
1. What will i need to do once i get the body wave perm as in do i need to Blow dry it..ext because right now i don't blow dry my hair usually. Also What products should i use or buy once i get it done?
2. What types of hair styles can i do once i get it done?
http://www.hairfinder.com/hair/root-perm.htm
I'm not sure what you mean by what kind of hair styles you can do, because I'm pretty sure you can do just about anything that you'd normally do if you didn't have a perm(ponytails, scrunching, braids, etc)
hope that helps

I have to babysit my little brother whos 10 what else can he do but sit around all day.
Darby had some really good answers.
You can also play sports with him (if he likes soccer, kick a soccer ball around...if he likes basketball, throw around a basketball.)
Invent a board game!
Cook or bake together.
Ask him what he likes to do for fun, and do that with him.

Hi everyone,
So in about a month, I'm going to the clinic to get a sonogram of my ovaries, and they gave me the instruction to drink A LOT of water (16 oz an hour before, and 16 oz 30 mins before) and to not urinate. The problem is, ever since a child, I do NOT drink water. I absolutely hate it, and no matter how much I try, I just can't get myself to even drink a cup of water. My question is, do I HAVE to drink plain water, or can I put something in my water? Specifically this:
http://www.riteaidonlinestore.com/products/prod.asp?pid=150886&catid=28336&trx=PLST-0-CAT&trxp1=28336&trxp2=150886&trxp3=1&trxp4=0&btrx=BUY-PLST-0-CAT
Crystal Light. I've never tasted them but I was wondering If adding that to the water would affect anything in any way...
Thanks in advance!
I really don't have any idea about if adding anything to the water will make a difference (but I don't think you should because otherwise they would have told you to drink 16 oz of liquid) but Crystal Light is really bad for you. It contains Splenda which I've heard is a carcinogen.
http://www.womentowomen.com/healthyweight/splenda.aspx
http://www.wisegeek.com/what-is-a-sonogram.htm
Sorry for the links, haha. The first is about the dangers of splenda, and the second is about water and sonograms.
It's also unhealthy to not drink water.
http://www.naturodoc.com/library/nutrition/water.htm
Give water a chance! Haha, I used to hate it, too. Try bottled water if you don't like the taste of tap water. Put a little lemon in it, or lime, or ice.

so i'm 19 yrs old, female and i want to try fake eye lashes! i was just wondering though, are they hard to put on? how exactly do you put them on? do they look fake? where can i get them?
just all these questions are running through my mind and i want to know if they're worth buying! i have pretty long eyelashes now but i want them to look fuller, and even longer. plus do you still have to wear mascara on your real eyelashes or no?
agh so many questions! sorry!
but thank you (:
With practice, they aren't hard to put on.
They should come with a little tube of adhesive, and you put that along the lash line and stick right over YOUR natural lash line.
They look fake if you buy really big ones, even the smaller ones might look fake (I've only used them to perform)
You can get them at any pharmacy, near the make-up and stuff.

I always do my school talent show but I don't really know what music to choose this year! My friend and I were going to do ballet but if we did that the whole time it would be boring! So I need a song that starts out like balet but then gets fast and fun to dance to! Any suggestions?
Wow, sorry this took me so long to respond to!
Do you want classical music? Or something more modern. You could do like a contemporary piece to the song 'Dare You to Move' by Switchfoot. As far as classical goes, I've danced in pieces with slow music that progressively gets faster, but I can't remember the names of the composers or anything. You can always google search or youtube search up-tempo classical music. I hope this helped.

heyy. i wanted to know what kind of clothes i should pack too hahah thankyou! Im a 15 year old girl
Haha, oh alright. Well in that case, pack some shorts and t-shirts or tank tops (no long sleeves, but do bring a sweatshirt or two), but I would bring jeans in case it does get cold (because it can). Also, if you leave the AC on in your hotel, pack warm PJs (sweatpants) but if you don't leave it on, shorts are fine. For some activities (like adirondack extreme) you will need sneakers, so just grab a pair and bring some socks, but for the most part flip flops are fine! Hope this helped.
Have fun!

i have had my puppy dolphin for 5 years and she has made me itch only sometimes when she licks me but i figured it was just from eating grass outside. then i went on vacation for 4 days, come back, and she doesnt lick me but i still itch. she just sat in my lap and i got all red and blotchy! i am not allergic to dogs and there is no reason why i should be itchy! what the heck is the problem?
She may have gotten into poison ivy! It can travel from her fur onto your skin. If thats the problem, give her a bath and look for TechNu for yourself, it helps remove poison ivy oils.

17/f my family doesn't really support me being vegetarian so I basically have to cook for myself. I don't really know what to make. I don't eat any kind of meat and I dont ever plan on it, it grosses me out. So what's good that I can make? I've been living on yogurt and noodles. Ha any suggestions? By the way, I've never had tofu, I don't know where to find it, and also I don't like the taste of meat so yeah don't think I'd want it:)
I'm also the only vegetarian in my family, so i feel your pain. But you certainly can't live off of yogurt and noodles. That's not healthy. You need protein. I go to peanut butter (the natural stuff is better for you than skippy or jiff, even though they taste better) I also love beans. You can make vegetarian chili with different kinds of beans, tomatoes, celery, corn, or whatever other kinds of vegetables you like. Or you can look up recipes for vegetarian chili or google or foodnetwork.com.
I go to foodnetwork for a lot of my inspiration. You just have to watch some shows and get different ideas. Some shows do have vegetarian specials, I know Rachel Ray (as annoying as she is) always makes vegetarian suggestions.
Also, eating fresh fruit and vegetables are great! Salads are good, too.
Tofu has nothing to do with meat, so I don't know where you got the idea that it tastes like meat. Its mashed up soybeans. You can buy it at any grocery store, in the refrigerated section. It doesn't taste like anything, which is the beauty of it. The only tricky part about it is that it comes in water, so you have to drain it and crumble it or cut it to get out excess water. I usually put it in chili. You can fry it with different spices and experiment with different things you like, or go to foodnetwork again.
I love making different kinds of burritos with refried beans, or rice and beans, different cheeses, homemade salsas, etc.
Also, flaffles are REALLY good. You can buy a box of mix in most grocery stores or look up how to make them from scratch on google (I'm too lazyto do that now)
Part of being a vegetarian is experimenting with different foods and seeing what you like and what tastes good and whats easy to make and stuff like that. Its also taking dishes that might require meat or something meat based and learning how to substitute. Like for soups, instead of using a chicken or beef broth, use vegetable broth.

I have wanted to avoid this subject. I thought that it had no affect on me.
When I saw the breaking news on the television, that Michael Jackson was in a coma, I said , “Good, I hope he dies.”
Then they reported that he had died.
I said , “Good, another pedophile gone.”
Wow, Sometimes I surprise myself by my heartlessness. I am such a black and white person. You are either right or wrong in my eyes, and if I deem you wrong, then may whomever you believe in have mercy on you because I certainly will not.
I watch American Idol. It’s one of my favorite television shows. Last season when they did the Michael Jackson music tribute, I did not watch. I made a point of not watching. I hated to miss an episode, but still couldn’t believe that they would showcase a “known” pedophiles music.
I have made a point as well, to not listen to his music, since the charges were made.
That was difficult, especially during Halloween. Thriller has always been my favorite. I use to set my computer speakers on the porch and play Thriller over and over again. One year a group of parents all started doing the Thriller dance in front of my house. That was the best Halloween ever!! Can you imagine a group of people some in costume, some not in front of your house doing the Thriller dance? It was great!
But then when all of the allegations hit, then I personally boycotted Michael Jackson, as I have a son and found the whole mess apprehensible.
Since his death I have watched all of the interviews, and specials about Michael Jackson and his life.
It has finally dawned on me, that I don’t know for a fact that he was guilty. I will never know. More than likely no one will read this who KNOWS for a fact if he was guilty.
Of course he was found not guilty by a jury. But we all went through the OJ trial and we know that our system is not foolproof. There again, we Don’t know, but he wrote a book….
I read a lot of Blogs, and comments about Michael Jackson, and it’s such a hot topic. Everyone seems to be locked into their opinion.
I was locked into mine. But in death, it seems as though I am able to give Michael Jackson the benefit of a doubt that I couldn’t give while he was living.
It almost seems as though a family member has died. I did grow up with his music. I never knew how strongly I felt before, and I , myself, find it very odd. The human brain and how it works is itself very odd.
If we could give people the benefit of a doubt in life that we do in death, wouldn’t that be a beautiful thing?
The one and only person I have found that can do this is my Mother. She has such a beautiful soul. She emphasizes the good in everyone. And when she recognizes a persons bad traits, she prays that the good will prevail, and only focuses only on that. I am so lucky to have her as a Mother! Some may think of her as naive, but I truly believe that she is more astute than ALL who judge her !
I have to go to ADSAP classes, for a DUI from 2 years ago. No,sorry to disappoint , I am NOT perfect! There is a woman who goes to the classes I do. She is so honest with herself and all of us, I cringe. There are some secrets that you should take to the grave. However, she does share hers and she said how the memories haunt her at night, when she lays down for sleep. So she takes a sleeping medication.
I also, take a sleeping pill. If not, then every bad decision I have made in my life haunts me at night, and I toss and turn.
I started connecting the dots this morning and thought that Michael Jackson, must have some really bad demons if he had to take a anesthesia to help him sleep.
The reports have been that he was in a lot of pain.
I don’t know, the Pepsi commercial was a long time ago. How much pain could he be in?
Maybe he did do wrong to those children and couldn’t live with himself when it was time to lay down.
Maybe he endured so much wrong that those memories hindered his sleep.
Point is , We don’t know. He lived such a different life than all of us.
I don’t even think that most of us could comprehend what his “normal” was.
He was odd to us.
He was different.
But what did he have to compare his life to?
If he was indeed a pedophile then he is in the dirt where he belongs.
But if he wasn’t, could you imagine living in a WORLD, not just a Nation, where everyone thought that he was?
I have very mixed feelings.
I love the video I have posted. I love the beginning where he’s going through a sea of paparazzi,( I know it was green screened) looking very solemn and beaten, and then performs to an empty theatre. And the title “You are not Alone.”
But he was alone wasn’t he. And I think the video shows this. The irony is mind-blowing.
It shows that irregardless of how much money and fame you have, you are still in this world alone.
A world full of fans loved this man. But at the end of the day, he was still one man, alone.
I think that , as I have said before I give him the benefit of a doubt now.
And I may go so far as to say that I am in mourning.
I suppose my question is :
did anyone else have a change of heart with Michael Jacksons death?
My opinion about him didn't change.
I loved Michael's music and he was such a talented dancer.
You have to take a look at his life. He was in the spotlight at such a young age, and he didn't have a very good home life. His father was abusive, and it showed that that had a lifelong impact on him. For example, his dad always told him he had a big nose, and look at him before he died. He barely had a nose. I've also heard stories that his brothers would bring girls home at night, and Michael would hear them because he shared a room with them...that's gotta mess a kid up.
I don't think he was a pedophile. I think that the whole Neverland/Peter Pan/hanging out with kids thing was because he was trying to live out the childhood he never had. There's no proof that he did anything bad to those boys. Sure the whole "share your bed" thing was really weird, but I really think that that was all it was to him.
I watched his funeral and I think it was Brooke Shields who said that when she was with Michael they were like two kids, always laughing and having fun. That shows that 'normal' to Michael was acting like a kid.
I think he really wanted to be a normal guy. Yes, he was a musician, but he was also a father, a brother, and a son. He was a musical icon and legend. So many artists today have been influenced and inspired by his work and I think it really is a shame that he died. He left behind three kids and an unbelievable legacy.

Im going to lake george for a week in august, what should i bring?
I went to lake george a couple of weeks ago! Aside from clothing and stuff like toothbrushes, bring plenty of money for food and activities. On the main road right on the lake, there are a ton of little gift shops and theres a wax museum and tons of restaurants, but theres also like a pizza hut or something and a mcdonalds. Theres tons of mini golf courses around there if you are into that. I also highly recommend going to Adirondack Extreme : http://www.adirondackextreme.com/ It is a ton of fun! There was a lot to do up in bolton landing.
If you like shopping, there are plenty of outlets there, too! For more activities, just look for a map of the area in your hotel. They all have them.
Because its kind of far north, bring a sweatshirt! It was kind of cold while i was there, especially at night. Bring a bathing suit to go swimming. I think they have parasailing.
I had a really good time while I was there. Like I said, theres ton to do!
You can inbox me if you have any questions :)

All my life, I've had wavy / straight hair. After blowdrying, I usually straighten it and it only takes one or two minutes. I know that excessive blowdrying and straightening really stress out my hair, so throughout the year, I sleep with wet hair and in the morning it's curly.
Unfortunately, by the end of the day, it's pretty much wavy or even straight. It's really annoying, so I started using John Frieda's Frizzease products to help "define my curls." I was reading in Seventeen about the best mousse and the best spray gel, and I am confused as to which one would:
- Aid my hair in curling up more if i were to sleep on wet hair
- Keep my hair curly throughout the day
- Not create a "crunchy" or "hard" texture on my hair
Which one do you suggest for my hair type: Tresemme Flawless Curls Curl Care Extra Hold Mousse OR Garnier Fructis Style Curl Shaping Spray Gel?
I have really thick curly hair as well. I usually shower in the morning (because when i sleep on wet hair it creates frizz and gets messy haha) and after i shower i comb my hair (never towel dry, if you have to dry it a little use a paper towel to scrunch out excess water) and then i spray in a little leave in conditioner (i mixed water and conditioner in a spray bottle and it works fine) and then i add either Garnier Fructis Surf Hair, its not a gel or a mousse, its more like a paste haha. Or I use Tresemme Flawless Curl 'Jelly', but any of their flawless curl stuff works well. To avoid the crunchy look, dont put in too much product. I have really thick hair and i put in a handful the size of a quarter. This is why it helps to do with wet hair, too, cause the products gets diluted. To keep your hair curly throughout the day, add a little water to it. I usually rub water between my hands and then scrunch it up. Or spray some water in and scrunch it in.
I don't like gel because i feel like it makes hair look sticky and stiff. Mousse usually adds volume and keeps hair looking lighter than gel would. Hairspray probably won't hold your curls on its own.
Good luck

Im a girl, and im going to be 15 in november. I want to get a job. What stores MIGHT hire a 15 year old girl in NY?
Thank youz
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20070808113156AABtjGD
According to this, you have to be 14 to work at a place that will not interfere with school hours, so I guess any place could technically hire you. Just go around and ask for job applications

Hey! If you gave me your age, this question might be easier to answer, but I'll give it my best shot.
Sometimes its hard to feel beautiful when you are surrounded by friends with perfect hair, or skin, or teeth. But when it all comes down to it, what is beautiful? I don't think there is a set picture of what beautiful really is. I'm sure there is something that you are really confident in, whether it is your hair or your eyes or your skin. To make yourself feel more beautiful, try to play off of your best feature (if you need more advice on this just inbox me again) In order to feel beautiful, you have to be confident in yourself. It is something that others will pick up on, and this will make you more attractive.
I don't know how to help you with your "crappy" love life because I don't know if that means non-existent or if your boyfriend is cheating on you or what. If you need more advice, please ask a more specific question!! Thanks

I need to make birthday invitations for my girlfriends suprise birthday party. I got the paper I want to use picked out I just need to find a place where I can use col fonts and stuff my computer doesnt have it on it where can I go?
You can download fonts for any kind of word processing program you have. Google search: free font download for ___________ (if you have microsoft word, then put free font download for microsoft word...haha)
You can also hand write them depending on how many you have to make. But other than that, the answer below mine covered pretty much everything.

I really want to stop drinking soda but I'm having a really hard time doing so. Usually I'll have 5-6 sodas a week and 99% of the time it's when I'm out. It's really not that much, but soda is so unhealthy for you and I'm trying to get a grip on my diet. Sometimes my dad keeps a 2 liter in the fridge so it's very tempting to have 'just a cup' and ending up drinking 2 more during the day. I don't want to switch to diet sodas either because they're worse for you and 0 calorie drinks like crystal lite contain aspartame which is a fake sweetener that causes a lot of health issues. Any ideas on how to stop? oh & I'm 17/f.
Good for you! I did the same thing a couple of months ago. I admit, I've cheated and had a soda here or there, but other than that I don't drink soda anymore. I always remind myself how bad soda is for you. All that sugar...yuck. And empty calories. Cutting soda is a great way to help lose weight! I've replaced soda with water, and I feel like I have more energy during the day. When you go out, get water! If you go to a restaurant, water is free. Also, juices are sweet and can replace the desire of a sweet sugary soda. Good luck

I'm 15/f and starting about two and a half months ago I've gotten a headache basiclly everyday, ive told my mom and she won't take me to the doctor. She may not be concerned but I certantly am, and since I'm only 15 I can't take myself to the doctor, I was wondering if anyone could help me out, and give me some ideas on what could possibly be wrong?
Headaches can be caused by a million and one things. The weather can be a big factor, especially if its hot and muggy and gross. It can also be hormonal, which sucks, but it will go away in time. Make sure you drink plenty of water, it can be caused by dehydration. I was in a car accident a few months ago and got really bad whiplash. I had a headache for basically two months, and it was caused by muscle tension. You can try rubbing or massaging your neck and see if that helps. You may have certain allergies that are triggering them. It could be dust! Keep your room clean and wash your pillow cases and sheets often. But like I said, there are so many things that can cause a headache so it would be virtually impossible to figure it out on this website. Check out http://www.webmd.com/search/search_results/default.aspx?sourceType=undefined&query=headaches and see if you find anything that could be a possible cause.

Alright, so I'm 15 and I'm gunna be a sophmore after this summer is over. I was thinking about where I can get new clothes for this summer and maybe even this fall for back to school. I'm not into the whole pay a hundred dollars for a tanktop with a bird on it scene. I'm getting paid around 50 dollars a week for babysitting, and I need to find places where I can get decent clothes like you'd find at places like PacSun, Hottopic, Hollister, etc. but not nearly as expensive, 'cause if I only have 50 dollars, I don't wanna blow all 50 on one thing. I live in MA, does anybody have any ideas? Also I can't shop online because I don't have a credit card and I'm pretty sure my mom doesn't either.
Thanks!
I'm not sure where you live exactly, so I dont know whats near you, but I'll give it a shot.
Forever 21, Old Navy (they usually have inexpensive t-shirts and stuff), Walmart (if you want t-shirts and their jeans selection isn't too bad either), and you can look here to see whats closest to you http://www.manta.com/mb_44_B626D_22/women_s_clothing_stores/massachusetts
I have to agree with the first kid who answered...second-hand stores or thrift stores can have some really unique stuff, which I'm all for (I hate shirts that have hollister written all over it in glitter and crap like that hahaha)You can look up stores in your area on google to find cheap clothing stores.
