i know this girl who goes to another school who is my absolute bff and she had a girl sleepover this night and that girl absolutly hates me! and she told me how much people talk behind my back and how fat and ugly i was and it really is hurtng my feelings b/c i never really did anything to her until tonight when i called her a bitch and now i just feel so emotional and i just feel like telling my best friend that if she wants to be friends with her she could be but she won't find me talking to her anymore. so i'm really confused and don't know what to do anymore

hi, ive got a french oral exam on tues and i havent hardly learnt any of it, we have to learn our presentatation about anything ( mines half a page long) the questions to go with it (5-6 questions), topic one and topic two which is like 13-15 questions. im getting really stressed out cos, ive got no time to revise.

make flash cards, stay after school and ask for help from teachers, do what ever you can to study so at least you know you have. you should study every day!!! you should make sure you know the most important things and i m sure you'll be fine. if you're still nervous then just study some more, go to bed early the night of the test, eat a hardy breakfast, and pray. you know you've studied so you shouldn't be worried. and if you do get an F (you probably won't) then it just won't matter because you know you've studied it and you know you tried your best. you'll do fine!

Hey. I'm a cashier at a store thats like Linens and Things. Its my first job (i'm sixteen) and I've realized that its not the kind of job I want. I don't like the fact that its a big place and its busy allll the time. I enjoy interacting with my co workers. At my place, I feel like I can't do that. We're all busy helping out the customers, which is good... but I feel like I don't know the people I work with well. What are some good places to work at, where you're working...but you still have opportunities to get to know your co-workers? Preferably not a fast food restaraunt, a grocery store, or big places. I want something small and fun. I was thinking about working at a tanning salon?? Does anyone have any good ideas?

it all depends, why are you working? are you working to get money? or just to burn some spare time? think about it. once you start working, you're going to be working for the rest of your life. do you erally want that?
some job ideas could be what you're interested in. try finding somewhere that has a good pay. or you could find somewhere where you could take your advantages! such as an ice cream or pizza store... think about it! free ice cream! free pizza! YUM. its all up to you and your interests.

YOU HAVE TO TELL SOMEBODY. have another conversation with the person and print it out. this way, you'll have proof. show it to your parents, show it to your principal. its better being alert than being worried every day. its funny because this exact same thing happend to my sister about...a month ago. the school found the person but she refused to say she did anything. they let her go. our dad called the police, sooner or later, there were police all over the school. they checked the lockers and everything for a knife(because that's what the person online threatend her with) and everything seemed to be okay. what you should do is ask all your friends about the sn. show the conversation you printed out and then you tell the principal. but you must tell your parents first. this might seem a little long, but it is a lot of help! threatening people isn't exactly the best thing to do and you're gonna show that kid why...

hey im just wondering, if u cut is it like wrong.. is it that big of a deal.. if its not for attention it just helps you deal with yourself then does it matter? do you need help if you do cut?

yes it's bad! yes it's wrong! and yes you do need help if you do cut! cutting is a way to releve stress and to kill yourself. but why relive stress that way? why not play a sport? go running? if its too cold out try indoor soccer, or basketball, or whatever you can think of. there's plenty of solutions compared to cutting yourself.

if you don't want to do a sport try getting "involved" try an after school program or take up a hobbie! anything is better than cutting. if you do cut, tell somebody right away because somebody is gonna find out anyway if they see all the slits on your writs. once they find out, you'll know what to do and so will they. you'll try and break the habit (if it is one) and all i can say is good luck

Okay, well i need help with my room. I'm 13 by the way. Okay, so I'm not allowd to paint my walls, and I just got $6000, custommade furniture. But, the thing is, my walls look really empty...I need somthing coolin my room, im a guy. does anyone hae any ideas

posters of your favorite band/singers are always good but you ahve to be careful that the tape doesn't take the paint off your walls. i think lanterns are pretty cool too. somehting ive been thinking about doing to my room is taking newspapers and cutting out the cool comics and interesting columns then put them all over your walls till thats all you can see! that'll be your new wall paper and itll give you something interesting to look at. or if you're dying to paint your walls another color, paint over the newspaper! just an idea!

I wasn't completley sure what category this goes under, so I took a guess. My dad always tells me not to pop/crack my knuckles. And he always yells at me when I do. Is there a certain reason why you shouldn't? I heard you can get arthritis from it, I heard that your fingers will get bigger, and I've also heard that nothing will happen. So like why shouldn't I be cracking my knuckles? Can it really do that much damage?

you're not going to get arthritis from it but you have a pretty good chance of having your knuckles become swollen. yes it will do a lot of damage because when you get older your fingers will be so swollen that you won't be able to move them. beleive me- i do research! well unless you'd like a hand the size of an elephants foot i suggest you stop the habbit!

he simply is a coward. he might like you, or he might just enjoy taunting you because he love to see you get mad. other times, he just might have problems! but you should just try to ignore him for a while, you never know what goes on in someone elses life or head.
but if you can't help ignoring him, here are some suggestions...
*tell, you might be considered a tattle-tale but hey, at least you don't get detention or worse...
*threaten him. not with weapons though! just find out some secret of his (maybe by asking his friend)simply tell him that if he won't stop taunting/teasing/making gossip about you/ etc. that you'll tell him "his little secret"

What are the best excersises and best ways to excercise for a 13 year old in middle school that wants a flat stomach, keep a flat stomach, and build some muscle? And how often should I excersise?

there is a perfect answer for this! simply do crunches. Do 20 in the morning, 20, when you get home from school, and 20 right before you go to bed. simply increase the amount of crunches as you get more advanced. another stratagy is when you are watching tv to also do crunches. even if you are watching your favorite program, there is always time to fit in at least 25 crunches during a commercial break!
Tomorrow is my dad's birthday, but I don't know what to get him. There's not really any time to go buy him something, and I wanted to make him something special anyway. What should I make him?

it all depends on what your dad likes and what you're good at. if you're good at making necklaces, then go ahead and make a necklace for him! if you're good at making nail polish, go ahead and make it! your dad will accept anything you make for him, even if it is a little girly, or lets just say-different. he'll definately appreciate that you put the time and effort into making him something, no matter what it might be.
