I'm sorry, it sucks to try to get over it when its like that...if you dont want to get over her, then you have to get her attention again, even if its just as a friend for now, maybe she'll realize there was nothing wrong in the first place.

15/F--I like this guy, and its the first time I've liked a guy mostly based on his personality and having looks coming second. I'm not a shallow person but when I usally like guys I'm attracted to them physically. But he is a great guy and he has told me before that I was pretty, and that I was a great person all around. I decided to finally do something about wanting to be more than friends, and a friend of mine is going to talk to him tomorrow. I'm happy that he will find out, but also kinda scared because I feel that there might be no chance. When he compliements me, he says it when I feel down about my looks and everything so I feel that its just his way of trying to make me happy. So when he asks me about me liking him, online (we go to different schools) I am going to be at a loss for words. I want to say everything is true, but on the other hand I want to run and hide. I am just so insecure about myself and what he will think of me, its making me crazy. I'm not really asking for specific advice, just comments and words of enncouragment. Just be confident that you are a great person, cuz looks don't always matter with liking a girl, if he is truly a great friend, and he does want to go out with you, then it'll make you both happy, if he doesnt, he should be a good enough friend to just go back to being friends. Don't worry about it, just jump ahead and take a chance, it'll probably work out in your favor.

Im not yet either but Im scareed I will become. Earlier this night i tried to make myself throw up. Im 14 5'1 and wiegh about 103. Most people think Im crazy because I think Im fatter than most people, but I do. How can I overcome this feeling, and actions. I know that if i become either it will be very hard to stop. please! I've heard that if you go on a diet that restricts food intake or doesn't have the right nutrition, that when you go back to normal eating, you will gain back all the weight PLUS more. The gaining back all the weight makes sense, but what is it that makes you gain more? Just curious. (link)

ok so theres a close friend of mine lets call him Jake. Well jake and I are good friends and he gave me a Christmas card for Christmas that signed "Love Jake" well ever since then my friend lets call her sasha has been trying to hook us up. he says he wrote love tom on all cards..yet anyone i know hes friends with didnt even get a card at least any ive checked with. so he coems up to me today and goes "have you talked to sasha" and i said not really he goes "she said you and i should go out" just then the bell rang so i didnt have to say anything. i really am unsure of my feelings for this guy.....if he does ask me out what do i do? i cant say no i have problems of hurting friends feelings!!!

Ok..I went out with this boy who is 2 years younger than me for 6 months. I totally fell in love with him and we did a lot of stuff together but we didn't have sex. We were planning on it but it just never happened. Neways. I was soo in love with him and planning spending a lot more time with him when all of a sudden he wanted to take a break..we did for like a week and then he started saying some really mean stuff to me so i just ended it. Was that the right thing to do? And then like a week later he ended up giving his sweatshirt to a girl who use to be my best friend. 2 weeks later they started dating. and now i'm hearing stuff that he told people he likes me a lot still and is mad because of stuff. but when asked about it..he denies it and says mean stuff about me to his gf. what is going on here? i still like him...does he still like me? You are too good for him, don't even try to go back out with him just because of what he thinks, you need to do what you want to, and remember all the ways he hurt you before you make your decision. Be careful, i really dont think he's the right person for you.

I'm a moderately happy person. I'm in love, I have really supportive friends, and I have great artistic outlets for my emotions, but for some reason I keep having these reoccurring thoughts of suicide. Every time I sit by my window I think of diving headfirst into the driveway three stories below. I don't know what to think of it. Is this normal? (link)

If you see your life as a happy life and your thinking about suicide, then maybe you need to start thinking about those great things in your life that would prevent you from comitting suicide, otherwise maybe your just curious about death or pain or something maybe.

im a 13/f n my bestfriend is 13/m i like him alot and we went to the movies yesterday with 2 other friends a boy and a girl. i was sitting inbetween the girl and my best friend n all during the movie he kept sorta kicking me and rubbing his leg against my leg. i thought it was cute. then he didnt mean to well at least i dont think he meant to, but he moved his hand like in between the seat and he touched my theigh a couple of times. i like him alot but do you think he was making moves on me? well he knows i like him but im sort of clueless right now!! thank you

Tell him straight out! If he's just going to do it to use you then it will never have been worth it. I don't know the guy but that's what it sounds like...plz be careful! You shouldn't do something like that unless you have a really great relationship with him.

so im 20yrs old and i just had a son with a 18 yr old. hes been doing really good with coming over (we both live with our parents) anyways, the problem is that once in awhile he'll say hes coming over and then doesn't even show up or call to say what's going on...i dont understand a little bit because i had talked to him about it and he agreed that calling would be the best thing and he also agreed that he should be calling when plans change, yet somehow he still seems to do it>>he'll tell me the night before that he's coming over and then just not show and not call me until the next day and talk as though nothings up...its bugging me so much i tried talking to him now what do i do??? I love my boyfriend very much, and he is just the sweetest thing to me. I wouldn't trade him for anybody else. My parents don't think he's a good influence on me, and want us to break up. If he doesn't change soon they'll keep us from seing each other and talking.
He's 2 years older than me, in high school when I'm still just a middle schooler. I met him through my younger brother's theatre group, he is a wonderful actor and an even better singer. I knew who he was for almost a year, but never talked to him since he was older, and I wasn't even in the play. some time in september he noticed me at the theatre group. We began talking on the computer and on the phone for several weeks until he asked me out. my parents had been sorta skepetical about the whole thing with an older guy from the begining, but let me go out with him anyway.
There have been a few times that I couldn't do or go places with him because he was older, or because my parents didn't think I was ready to do things. He takes things rather personally and got really upset with them, being extremely rude about them in his online diary. Later, after the problems had been solved, my dad found the website, nad was really disappointed in what he saw. That was about 3 weeks ago. My parents have never let go of the fact that he and I made out in front of my little bro, something both of us will never do again. They also like to rub in my face that he is very emmotional, and materilistic and they point out all his bad traits. They fail to mention how sweet he is to me, how well we get along, how he calls me every day no matter what, and comes to watch me ride horses when any other guy would be bored to death.
Last friday one of our friends told him that I was cheating on him with my ex. Which so didn't and will never happen. I told him so on saturday, and he believed me until he talked to her again, and on sunday he was mad at me. I felt so bad, being accused of something that he knows that as a person, I would never do that. Anyways, he hugs all his friends that are girls. I told my mom, and she almost had be convienced to break up with him.
Yesterday, I was talking to him on the phone, and I told him he needed to be more respectful to my parents. He replied with "I dont give a what your parents think" I then told him that why my mom was letting me use the phone before I was finished with homeworkd and chores was because I was supposed to break up with him, but that I didn't want to. He got all upset and got off the phone.
I dont know what to do, I want him to be able to get along with my parents, and I want them to see all the good things I see in him. How should I let him know that my parents thnk he is a bad influence, emotional, rude in his diary ect. ect. without making it sound like thats how I feel, and that they still like him well enough as a person. I agree with a few of the things they say, and I want him to know and to fix those things, but I dont want to sound rude, or demanding. Parents never change their minds about those things, trust me. They will always see what's wrong with him and will never want to understand him as a sweet person. It's not worth trying right now. But he also needs to have the decency to respect what you think will keep you two together. If he can't see that then maybe another guy is what you need, even if it's not what you want. Don' stay with someone who will make your life more miserable.
