My name is Kate Im from Ohio and I love to give advices and help out with all kinds of problems .

My husband has smoked for years...35 to be exact. We have been married for 30 years. He is slim, but not very healthy, I think. He almost quit just recently and I was so proud of him and told everyone that I was. He was down to about one cigarette a day. I feel like garbage when he smokes because he does it in the house, car, whatever. It makes me feel like a smoker myself. I feel that if I wanted to smoke, I would have kept it up in college, so you see, I know what it is like to be a smoker, but not what it's like to be a non-smoker, even though I don't smoke. I am sorry this sounds bitter. I am mad. Tell me what to do. I am ready to move out. We have a great marriage, but I don't want to feel crappy anymore because of someone else's vice. He refuses to go outside to smoke.

Sometimes it takes time for a person to quit smoking. My mom has been smoking for over 20 yrs no matter what I told her it didnt change her mind until she decided to quit to make her life healthier .Its up to him if he wants to quit and when you cant push those things . I would imagine he is going through stress or depression if he is smoking. You need to tell him that what he is doing is not healthy and that he should see a doctor probably so they can tell him how his smoking is effecting him . If he doesnt get it then i guess he is not ready to quit again. Dont give up on him have hope! I hope I helped. Good luck ♥Kate

Yeah i know how you feel .Well you can rent movies from block buster, find some books to read, draw,paint,talk on the phone with your friends,listen to music,play games such as monopoly or battleship on www.games.com thats a fun site :). How about inviting your friends over and having a pijama party .Last but not least use your imagination be creative if you dont like something about your room try to re-decorate it and have fun . I had a best friend and her bf beated her up infront of my face he broke her jaw and gave her a black eye due to the fact they broke up thats why that happened.I tried to separate them but i didnt want to get hurt either.She was in a terrible condition and no one should lay a hand on you. Seems like his gf cant stand you and wants him all to herself. Well try to talk to him in person and tell him that all those bad things were made up from his gf and that you want to be his friend you dont want to harm the friendship.Another way can by probably by telling his friends about it if he doesnt want to talk to you i know they will tell him.Tell him that his gf is trying to be all selfish and probably doesnt like you. You need to post flyers around your neighborhood and let them know all your information such as phone number ,name and how old do the kids have to be that you wish to baby sit.If you have experience doing that you can also put that as a reason. If the flyers dont work out try with people you know that need help babysitting or also go around your neighborhood and probably ask the neighbors if they need any help with the kids go with one of your parents for safety if you are not old enough. I think that he should see a therapist and a doctor. So he can talk to them and understand what his problem is with drinking . The doctor will also be able to tell him how drinking is putting his health in risk. i fell in love with a guy named harrison about 2 years ago, and we have been unseperable ever since then. we'd always have the occasional fights between us, and i was crazy about him, and he was about me too. i loved him more than anything in the world, and this was not just puppy love, this was the real thing. he was my first and possibly final love, and i lost my virginity to him. when he moved to iowa last year, we still loved each other and he never even attempted to go out with any other girl. he was the best thing that had ever happened to me, and i loved him..i truly mean it. he was always there for me, he was there when mother died, i lost my best friend, and when i had to have a heart surgery.
recently he died in a car accident. it wasn't his fault at all, it was horrible luck. he was driving on a highway and a drunk driver crashed into his car, killing him. i cried myself to sleep for months, and i just didn't care about anything but him. i was obsessing yes, but i loved him, and i know he loved me too. he was the only one for me, and i know he's gone now and i should move on and look for other guys, but i don't think i'll ever find anyone else like harrison. i will still of course try, but i cannot help but feel horrible. sometimes i feel i should kill myself so i can join harrison up in heaven, but i have never succeeded. i am hurt beyond words, and i don't know what to do anymore. please help me, anything will help right now. thank you so much for reading all of this.. love, lauren

I know how you feel i never lost a love one like that but i can imagine the pain you are going through. I know that Harrison will want the best for you ,dont try to kill yourself there is so much more life to be lived and for you to experience so many wonderful things. I understand that you are going through a great deal of sorrow but honey you need to try to move on and later in life you will find some one like him hopefully but now you cant keep on feeling so miserable its not good for you.Try to go out and have fun with your friends for Harrison's sake, then maybe you will feel alot better.Think of it as he is looking down on you smiling and wanting for you to be happy. Im 14 year old girl, and my friends are the same age, I went to the beach for a week this past week and my best friend, we'll call her, Jess *hold that thought* I also played volleyball this season and made some great friends and I went to hang out with them and invited Jess. but since I went away for the week. Thers a kid named Cam, and he spends every summer at his cousins house, kyle, who happens to be my neighbor. So last summer he liked me alot and I didnt know it because I liked someone else.
