i have a real big problem.. my best friend cuts herself.. she doesnt seem to think that theres anything wrong with it. but there deff. is. and the reason she does it is bcuz the kid she likes isnt going out with her but he likes her. and i keep talking to her telling her that she needs to stop bcuz shes gona end up killing herself one day. and she keeps saying i know i know im gona stop. but she never does. and she told me not to tell her mom or any guidence counclers or anyone. how i can help her stop hurting herslef without telling anyone about it??
Alot of the time this stunt is pulled for attention. But then again, Sometimes it's not. Tell her that it's not cool to do it, And to talk to the guy about it and leave it as that. If it gets really really bad, like seriously deep, then maybe tell the counciler because it is a problem if shes serious. If it's for attention, don't give it to her. Just tell her you care about her, Don't think that that's the mature way to deal with her feelings and watch. But I don't want to say she is doing it for attention, So if you think she's serous, maybe take it up with her to see a out side of school councler. I dunno... I'm sorry if i offended you in anyway, but I'm just telling you what I've seen. If its for attention it'll stop when she doesn't get it. Hope all goes well :) -Britty-
hey there, ok my question is im 14 and ive been having my period for 2 years now. thing is that it is very irregular, i can get it today and not get till..october.. you know...like that.. but until im 17 thats supposed to be within the normal. anyway, for 2 weeks now, ive been drastically dirtying my panties..why is that? please explain detailed. thank you!!

ok me and my b/f have been going out 4 a while and i trust him with everything but recenly we have been talking about sex and he wants to and he said that if im not ready that its ok and that he will wait as long as i want to wait but i like wanna have sex with him but im kinda scared still so if any one could help me it would be greatly appcated
You have a great guy if he will wait. I think maybe you should wait until you aren't scared or anything. Until you are positivly ready and comfortable. And he would understand, you aren't in a hurry. Take your time and do it when you're ready. Best wishes -Britty-
Okay, i've been having weird period cycle's.. at the beginning of the year i was having periods around the end of the month the 25th or 27th then they started earlier like the 15th every month for a few months well.. just last month and the month before i had my period around the 6th.. well today is the 10th and i haven't started my period yet! I don't understand this. I'm 17 and i feel like a dork. I have had sex before just to let you know.. last month about a week after my period well i'm pretty sure i'm not pregnant because i took a test and i'm not. But, i still don't understand why my period hasn't come yet..? I know this is probably weird but i'm having all my normal symptoms as usual.. i'm eating a lot more like i always do before my period and i'm eating chocolate "alot" and that's always before my period.. but i haven't started yet? This has been going on for like a week now. Everysense i've been with my boyfriend for about 8 months my like has been stressed with so much stuff.. do you think thats whats causing it? Stress? Or is my body just not normal..? Could someone help me please..!?
Stress could cause that. Very likely. But, If you are afraid something is wrong, I advise you see a doctor. Specially if you're sexually active. But maybe wait a few cycles and if you're still worried visit the doctors... Hope all goes well :) -Britty-
Ok well i like this kid, but i dunno hes a year older than me, im 13 hes 14.. i know that doesnt matter cuz ive went out with ppl b4 that were that age n i had no problem with it. But hes goin to the high school.. n im still gunna be in middle school.. n i duno he might find new girls. Well... I wouldn't go for it. Any guy that wants to be friends-with-benifets is BAD LUCK. If you go with him, you'll just be setting yourself up for a huge downfall. And you can see that. So you're gunna dedicate your time and emotion to him so he can kiss you and his high school girls at the same time? I wouldn't go for it. Friends with benifets is bad news. Hope I didn't offend you. It isn't bad. Everyone gets jealous. I would be happy that you have a boyfriend that treats you right. Alot of the time when girls date alot of guys they get hurt alot more. For diffrent reasons.. Well, This position may be kinda sticky. Maybe next time you two are alone, or on the phone, Talk to him a little bit. Get to know him a little better. I think that you should ask him if he sees something between you two more then friends, or tell him that you like him. He'll never know unless you tell him. NEVER, And I clearly understand that you're afraid of rejection. Who isn't? But ya know, Maybe if he's super shy you should tell him how you feel. You never know, Maybe he feels the same for you? First off, It's not what your friends think. It's what you want. Pick the guy that you would be most compatable with. Meaning, will treat you better and could have a closer relationship with. Well about the uniforms... If you look like a dork, everyone looks like a dork. LOL :) You are all wearing the same thing. The BEST BEST thing I can tell you is not to be shy. Get in there and meet new people! Maybe get into sports or any clubs that will introduce you to people with the same interests as you! You're only lost if you dont ask for help! Well, I dunno maybe someone else who answers will be better at explaining how to kiss. But I can tell you that when it happens... It just happens. I was so nercous for my first kiss, and I wasn't even planning on it and then this guy kissed me and at first I freaked out. Then I was like hey... its not bad! ok my cuzin is 21 we r really close...he had a 19 yr old gf of 3 yrs....and she was really close to him...we went to get him situated for college a yr ago and it was far away frum his house and he missed his gf so bad he moved back...i mean...they wer just incredibly close...well sh got really posesive and weird on him so they broke up recently....she wont even speak to him now...hes called and she wont answer n everything...he even went to her house and she wasnt home and she had a box in the trash that he noticed and it was ALL the letters they wrote to eachother, the diamond ring he bought her, stufed animals, etc...he took the box home and hes really depressed...the bad thing is hes goin to anothr college now far away and shes goin ther too....hes really upset...hes lost wieght and everything...is ther nething i could do to help him?? =(
You should talk to him. Talk abouthow he's feeling, and why he's feeling this. And maybe write him notes and call him just to wish him a good day or see how he's going. Break ups are super hard... Specially of that long. She's probably torn up to. Just tell him to keep his head up and keep trying to get ahold of her if he wants her back. I hope all goes well. Ok, this is going to be kind of long because I need to give you all the details. I haven't always been overweight, but when I was finally aloud to stay home in the summer by myself, I started to get bigger. I couldn't go anywhere when my parents were home, so I sat and watched TV and ate constantly. Well, the big problem is that was about 6 years ago! Every year I say I'm going to finally lose weight, and I still haven't. Now I'm at least 30 pounds over-weight, and even though I love playing sports and being active, I also love to sit at home and eat the "tasty" foods. I am going to be a junior, and it is so hard to be an over-weight teen. I know all the stuff I need to do if I want to lose weight, but I just can't find my motivation to do it. Do any of you have advice to try help me? Please, I would really appreciate it.
Well you're going to have to find the motivation in yourself. YOU have to REALLY want it. REALLY REALLY. It always helped me looking at skinny beaitiful models... LOL... Yeah, Im a dork. But I'd put pictures of skinny models in bakinis on my fridge or pantry. Also, track what you eat, and how much you exercise. Maybe make a sheet on your computer for each week, or just write it on notebook paper. -EXAMPLE: Monday: For breakfast I had 2 eggs scrambles, Lunch a ham and cheese sandwich, had cheese and crackers for snack, and had a ceaser salad for dinner. I jogged for 20 mins, and swam 40 laps after dinner. Before I went to bed i did 50 crunches.- Then at the end of the week... Check your weight. If it went up, check what you ate, how much you exercised and improve. It works. :) Try when you're hungry to eat healthy, or smaller pertions. Best wishes. okay school starts in 3 weeks and i wanna loose as much weight as i can before it...i weigh 105 to 107 and i wanna loose it! i need to loose on my thighs too they're pretty big. i excersise by going to the gym i only go like 2 to 3 times a week and play bball...what're some best ways to loose weight? how much could one loose in one week? by doing what? help and thanx!
If you're uncomfortable with your body, you need to get into a rutine.. not just 3 weeks before... But some ideas to help is maybe jog or swim laps? And eat healthy. Eat 3 meals a day, and if you snack, snack healthy. Try not to snack so much at night. And maybe before y ou go to bed do lunges, legraises, pushups, or crunches. Best wishes :)

Well, first off, I wouldn't wonder if they'll do 'stuff' with you because that shouldnt come first in a relationship. If you respect and like a girl, you should first commit to her and care. this will most likely be my only guy question i ever ask...but here we go. No guy had ever liked me until 8th grade (Last school year..), and then for some reason, 2 guys did, at the same time. they both rode my bus and they were both awesome. I liked them both, but i think i liked one more than the other. I wound up going out with the one that i liked less, because he asked me, and i liked him, so i said yes...why wouldn't i? I know i really did like him, because that whole time we went out, i felt guilty, because i still liked that other guy, but i wasn't sure anymore if i liked my boyfriend. One day, i heard that he had kissed another girl, so i told the other guy that i liked, who is his friend, to ask him about it. that weekend, i got an e-mail from my boyfriend. he said it was just a friendly kiss, and if other people were going to consider that cheating, "maybe we shouldn't go out anymore." at that moment, i realized i did like him, and i cried. but in my reply to his letter, i told him i wasn't angry. 2 days later, he was going out with another girl.
(we went out from nov. till about the end of feb.)

even though i refuse to admit it, i think i still like him, because he's so funny and everything. i have dreams we're still together, and it just bugs me. and the thing is...i STILL like that guy i liked while i was going out with him. i'm really confused, and i don't know what to do.

Well I think she should try to find someone younger. Not because I don't think she has a chance, she probably has a great chance because alot of older guys go for younger girls... alot. i am very confused and i dont know if this kid likes me or not! we didnt talk since school ended n then this 1 time he was online and we were talkin and gettin along fine and then he got offline and randomly called me and i was really suprised. the next couple days after that he would get online and we would talk for a little bit then get off and call me but i went away on vacation so he couldnt call so that ended that. but on the phone we talk about a lot of stuff we never used to bcuz i guess we both just changed or somethin and he says like he never knew how kool i was. also he asked me before randomly who i liked these days. and i told him i might b movin but like i do have the chance to move or not and he said it was stupid and to decide not to move and he was givin me ideas and reasons not to move so i dont know of any1 can translate if he likes me or not or what i should do and say to him because i relle like him
