You should tell your girlfriend about your religion, definatly. Nothing kills a relationship faster than a dirty little secret. The information should be given to her so she can know the whole you, not just the things that are blatently obvious. If she's a devout Christian and doesn't want to date anyone outside of her own religion, you would be doing her a great disservice by keeping your religion a secret. If you really like her, you'll respect her opinions and let her go if she chooses to. You could try explaining your religion to her and answering questions if she has any.

If you mean watching porn, no it's not a bad thing to do. Almost everyone has seen one at some point or another. It's not really shameful or anything. If you mean making porn, that's a whole other story. If you're under 18, it's probably not a good idea to go around making porno videos. You're likely to get caught at it, and it's illegal to be in one unless you're over 18. And if you are over 18, go ahead and make one if you want to, but just be sure that you're morally okay with the whole of the world seeing you naked on their computer screen.

I am 13/f and my parents won't let me remove the hair on my legs. I do anyway but only with a temporary razor that doesn't belong to me. I know why I can't remove hair from my legs, but I want to anyway. My parents are also overprotective and won't let me go to the store with my friends and know parents. If my friends parents see me buying a hair-removing device they will forbid me and tel my parents. If I buy a hair-removing device and my parents catch me they will kick me out of the house (I should know). How do I get a hair-removing device without my parents knowing? Please don't say buy it from a friend or walk to the store! (link)

If your parents allow you to visit your friends houses, you could always give a friend money to buy a razor and shave gel (or whatever it is that you want) to keep over at their house for you. If all else fails, just use your mom or dad's razor. Eventually they'll get sick of changing the razor blades and just buy you a razor of your own. If you're seriously worried about getting in trouble, go with that first option.

I don't know much about the state laws in New York, since I'm from Illinois, but I'm sure there are websites that'll tell you everything you need to know. Just do a google search. There might be a law prohibiting you from getting one without parental permission, but I doubt that'll be a problem in your situation. I wouldn't reccomend getting tattooed at the state fair. That's just asking for complications with the proceedure. They probably won't have the proper equiptment to sterilize the needles and the guns on hand at the fair, and they might not even change the needles and tubing between customers. I would reccomend finding and researching a tattoo parlor with liscensed artists and making an appointment there.

I shave down there and when it starts growing back...and I try to shave it hurts sooo bad and bleeds. Does anyone know any tricks or anything that will work? I've tried nair and it dosn't work. Thanks soo much for your help! (link)

I reccomend waiting to shave until the hair is a little longer. Yeah, I know, that sounds really gross, but you'll get a much better shave and it won't hurt you when you do it. Wait maybe four days between shaving before you do it again.

my boyfriend was fingering me the other day and like all of a sudden i felt like alot of watery stuff..and i blamed it on him and was like u CUMMED on me..and he was like i didn't i didn't even feel anything..and so he takes the blame and says sorry..but still promises he didn't feel a thing and so i get up and notice the sheets are really wet only to find blood all over them..meaning that wet stuff was ME bleeding..is it possible to bleed THAT much? i mean it was everywhere (link)

It's definatly NOT normal for you to bleed that much just because your hymen broke. In fact, when you break your hymen, there's only a few drops of blood that come out. It's possible that your boyfriend accidently cut you with his fingernail or something. That's happened to me before, and I bled all over the place just like what you're talking about. (yeah, TMI, I know) I hope this helps more than the information that came before me.

I think you should be worried about the age gap... It's a pretty big one. A 15 year old shouldn't be interested in someone 3 years younger than her. A 12 year old and a 15 year old are in two completely different places in their lives. If you really want to be together... wait a few years.

my parents are WAYYYYYYY over protective.. i mean if i go out the house in front of my door they come after me.. i tryed talking to them and explaining to them that i am not a baby anymore and i need to learn to make my own mistakes and etc.. but all the said was were not over protective we just care a lot about you.. i cant have a boyfriend until i am 16 and when i get one at that age my dad and my uncle have to be wit me the whole date with guns and if he trys makin a move on me he will basically be died.. my dad said he would hire a body gaurd but he doesnt want to spend so much money on one.. for prom the plain on gettin me a lemo but i CANT have a prom date and my parents will be chaperoniing the dance.. i swear i think i dont have a life.. when ever i get a boyfriend i NEVER tell them.. i only tell them who ever it is is only a friend but i cant go one like this for ever can someone plz help me out!!! i am dieing to get some freedom.. o yea i am a 14/f.. Did it ever occur to you that your parents might just be kidding about making you bring your dad and uncle along on your dates? Because no normal parent does things like that. Sneaking around with boys behind your parents back is a bad idea and when you eventually get caught at it, you probably won't be allowed to date for even longer. I agree with the person before me who said you should wait until you're 16 to date/have a boyfriend. I was allowed to date before I was 16 (I am 16 now.. I'l be 17 in November), and dating was just plain lame until the guy who wants to take you out can actually come pick you up in a car that his parents aren't in. It's much easier once one party has a drivers liscense. You probably won't like what I had to say, but take it from someone who's been there, REAL dating is worth the wait.

If your girlfriend is late with her period, you should get her a home pregnancy test to take. They give the best results if you follow the directions on the box exactly and if you use them about a week after a missed period. It sounds like there's a good possiblity that you guys might get "naughty" again, so you should definatly talk about whether or not you're ready to start having sex. If you both decide that you are, you should buy some condoms and she should get on birth control. Most towns have some kind of clinic that provides birth control for a minimal cost. (Like $5 a month, or something like that) Trust me on this one, you don't need a pregnancy scare. I've had two, and luckaly they did turn out to be just scares. It's not worth it. The cost of birth control is worth the piece of mind.

one of my friends is kinda higher class then me and she lives in my neighborhood thats how i know her. she goes to a private school and has an ipod, a tv, 2 computers, a palm pilot, has gone through 4 cellphones in the past 3 years, and got a laptop in 3rd grade. she gets Louis Vuitton and Coach and Prada. I gt some stuff like that too but not like her. her parents give her oney when she goes to the mall and my parents don't i kinda feel weird when i have like $20 and she has like $100. is there any simple jobs around the house i can do to get spare money? i do my laundry and feed the cats and change their litter... There's tons of stuff you can do to earn extra money. You could do stuff like babysit if there's any little kids in your family or in your neighborhood, you could cut grass, rake leaves, do housework around your place, or even dogsit for neighbors when they go on vacation. I'm sure if you asked your parents for some extra chores to earn money they would be more than willing to find something for you to do. Washing cars in the summer is a good option too. No one wants to spend the day doing that.

You can't lose 70 pounds in a month without getting some type of cosmetic surgery. Basicly, it's not at all possible for you to lose that much wieght before school starts. Chaning your apperance in order to spite some guy who wouldn't go out with you is changing it for the wrong reasons. If you want a guy who likes you for who you are and for what you look like, you have to wait for the right one to come along. Most of the time, that doesn't happen in junior high. Take it from someone who's been there, you don't want to change yourself just to please everyone else. Not everyone was meant to be skinny and petite. People come in all different sizes. Take Marilyn Monroe, for example. She wore a size 14 and she was absolutly gorgeous. I was the "fat girl" all through grade school and junior high, and once high school started, I had guys asking me out left and right. Most people mature as they get older and they realize that physical beauty is only skin deep.

My friend has been seeing her boyfriend for just over a month now. For two weeks they didn't even hold hands, they were so shy, but all of a sudden they kissed in the cinema and suddenly they are 'so in love' and on the same day as they kissed, they went to third base.
Last week, they had sex (in the WOODS!) and my friend is pretty sure she is pregnant. However, she is sayign she is 'bored' of her boyfriend and wants to 'move on'. I'm sorry but this is so stupid!! You don't sleep with someone you're 'bored' of and never really liked in the first place!!
She also wants an abortion.
First of all, I am angry at her for the whole 'oh I'm bored with you let's shag!' thing. I am also REALLY angry with her about the abortion because I am really against abortion in about 90% of cases, this one included. She wants to kill her own baby because she thinks she'll get 'bored' with it too, and because she made a mistake. She is 'making up' for that mistake with murder.
Now, I'm her friend and I am SUPPOSED to stand by her whatever, but this puts me in a HUGE dilemma because I do not agree with what she's done and what she is planning to do (split up with her boyfriend, have an abortion, not ever tell him she got pregnant). I'm really really angry at her right now and I can't talk to her, but I know she really needs my support at a time like this. How can I push my anger aside, how can I ignore my own stance on abortion and help her?
I need to stand by her...she needs all the love and support she can get, even though she doesn't deserve it. I was very tempted to slap her and run off when I found out but I realised that it's not my place to forgive or condone or accept or hate what she is doing, just to be there for her.
Please help...how can I get over my anger and resentment at what she is doing and be there for her? And don't just say 'talk to her' - if you have to, help me out on what to say!

You might be angry with your friend for the choices she's made, but she's still your friend nonetheless. It was probably not such a good idea to run off and have sex with someone she's only been dating for a week, but people make mistakes. Does she know for sure that she's pregnant? If not, she should take a home pregnancy test just to make sure. Just because you are against abortion doesn't mean that the option shouldn't be available to those that want that proceedure done. If she's made up her mind to end her pregnancy by means of abortion, it's her decison to make. Help her research the information about abortion so that she knows what will happen when she goes in to have one. You may not like the choice she's making by deciding to have an abortion, but at least make an attempt to support her by being a friend (not by supporting the abortion, but just by being a friend to her). I'm an avid Pro-Choice kind of person, so this might not be the best advice you've ever been given.

Okay here is the scoop. I have a friend "Tory" who is pregnant. She didn't tell me her aunt did because her grandma kicked her out when she found out that "Tory" was pregnant. Her aunt wants me to talk to her but I can't bring it up until she tells me. But then again I don't think she wants to tell me because It is like a competition thing between us in her eyes, she always compares things. But I don't look at our friendship like that. But anyways when she tells me what can I say to make her feel like I will be there for her, which I will but I still don't know what to say Please HELP (link)

If it's at all possible, you should talk to her and explain that you already know about her pregnancy. Tell her that you'll be there to support her during this hard time because that's what she needs right now. Her aund probably feels that it'd be better for "Tory" to talk to someone her own age about this so that it doesn't feel like she's getting lectured. Kicking "Tory" out of the house was probably the worst thing her grandma could have done for a girl who's going to have a baby. Help your friend research the options that are available to her and support the decision that she makes. If she decides to continue her pregnancy (ie, not get an abortion), it's important for her to see a doctor and begin prenatal care as soon as possible. I hope this helped a little.. ♥ Megan

You've got it right. A is the small size. D isn't the biggest size they make, though. It's just the biggest that most stores carry since there aren't too many E's and F's.

It would probably be much cheaper to make Fantana costumes, rather than buying them. Look around on clearance racks for things that look similar to what they wear. You can always alter them once you have everything.

Hey All!
Homecoming is a way away, but I am currious. I have never gone to a dance before. My boyfriend and I are going to most of the dances at both of our schools this year, because it is his senior year. I already have a dress for Prom. and it is floor length. I wore it in a wedding.
So, is homecoming like prom at all? Do you get an almost to the floor dress? a knee length? what? What are good colors?
Is it a huge deal? How much should one spend on a homecoming dress.
What about shoes?

Homecoming is a lot less formal than prom, which means you won't have to buy a super fancy dress. Ususally a knee length dress works well for homecoming. You can probably get a nice dress for around $50. As for shoes, there's not any sense in spending a lot of money on them if you only plan to wear them for just one night. Try looking at dress shoes at Payless, they only cost about $15 and look just as good as what you find in the department stores. I would reccomend taking a small purse that's big enough for your keys, cell phone, and maybe a few extra things such as a camera for pictures at the dance, mints, lipgloss, etc.

My mom keeps on intruding on my life. Heres a perfect example: Im sure some of you have an AOL screen name right?? For instant messaging? Well, I have it. And it has something called a log manager whice saves all of my conversations. So anyways, She READS MY MESSAGES I SEND TO PEOPLE. And then shes like, "YOU SWEAR TOO MUCH YOUR BANNED FROM IT!" I don't know if AOL is the same as MSN, but I know there's a way to turn off the "saved conversation" feature. Saving all of your conversations is just BEGGING to be intruded upon. And if you've given your mom reason to distrust you, then her snooping is well-founded, but if not, you should just stop saving your conversations and save yourself the hassle. And once you actually ARE a teenager, you'll probably get hassled a lot more than you do now.

It depends on what kind of a doctor you're going to see.. if you're just going in for a school physical or something.. they won't even have you take off your pants most of the time. But, no, the doctor can't tell if you masterbate, and no, they won't tell your parents.
