My name is Devin Lindsey or Vinny as my sister calls me! I am 17 years old and go to Bethel Park High school. I loooove swimming along with dancing, singing, and playing softball. I also run varsity track with is alright i supose too.

My favorite colors are orange, pink, and blue. I love to be crazy and have a good time

I've had a job working for 15+ monthes so I can answer alot about that

and I know alot about relationships in general so I can be helpful with that sometimes

especially with parent child relationships

I am a very observant person and tend to know more and care about more than most my age

and I really believe in volunteering to help animals especially at shelters. Usually its not their fault that they have to live their and its usually horrible cercimstances that bring them there and I feel terrible that they can't speak for themselves and people are too caught up in spending like $500 on this cute little pure breed puppy from a breeder just into getting rich instead of giving one of these dogs another chance at life (there are usually a handful of dogs under a year old so the i want a puppy excuse doesn't work with me)

My baby is named Lainey Mae... we got her from a shelter about 2 hours away from us when she was 7 weeks old. she is now 2 years old and the center of our family. unfortunately someone was cruel enough to go down and drug up and shoot (but luckly not kill) most of the dogs plus rob the owner (just like someone did at the shelter where I volunteer) and its now shut down

where can i buy two nice rings for me and my boyfriend. I only have 80 bucks

go to sears.. i work there and almost all of our rings priced orginionally under like $150 are all half off so i am sure you can find some nice rings for around $40 each

Hiya =). I am 14 year old Female.. I have brown eyes and brown hair that 99% of the time i wear curly... I own tons of makeup and is very well on puting on evreything from foundatin to liquid eyeliner.. but the first thinki would recommend is getting makeup that makes your eyes pop like a gold eye shadow.
also instead of using just a black eye liner i would get something like a gold eyeliner(they sell it at kohls and it is very pretty and shimmer with a touch of black) to help get more color into you skin.

also some light blush would not hurt

Tomorrow is my first day of school and i'm really excited. But I have to get up at 5 in the morning to get ready and leave for the bus stop at 6:20ish. Problem is my shower is broken and we can't get the repairs done till 10 in the morning tomorrow.. ughh. My mom is letting me use her shower in her room but I can't until her boyfriend gets up 5:45! I really can't wait that long because it takes me an hour to get ready. It's not like I can't do some things before I take a shower like putting on my make-up, clean my ears, and stuff. I asked my mom nicely if she could get up at 5 and so could her boyfriend just for one day. And it's only a half hour difference. She started flipping out on me too. Do you honestly think I'm being selfish? and how can I convince her?, I've already cleaned the whole house! thanks for advice.

why don't you just shower tonight. I always shower the night before.. it allows me to sleep in longer

if you are worried about your hair getting messed up while you sleep wash it tonight then rewet it in the morning. I don't think either of you are really being selfish.. they are being nice enough to share their shower so you should be kind and go when they ask.. although it still kinda sucks for you there isnt much you can do.

Also you could call a neighbor and see if you could borrow their shower early

hi!! i moved from another country to america about 10 years ago and i never really had a boyfriend because my parents were against it since im a european girl and "i dont know nothiing" anyways i finally got a bf and weve been together for a year and my parents actaully accept him...and im 18 by the way...our realtionship is great accept im scared to tell him that my parents dont have the best jobs in the world ..to me its embarressing ive been hiding it for a long time from my friends too...my mother cleans but thats normal for foreign women..and my father does like waxing and stuff and they both work at night so its great in my case ;)...but how do i tell him??? help me..i dont want him to be unattracted to me...and they get paid a lot though..

I don't think it would matter to him. Guys they really don't care about those kind of things and he is dating you here not your mom or dad. I would just tell him flat out.. Just start talking about how much your parents love him then get into their careers and what not. Those acually sound like decent jobs and i wouldn't feel embarassed about it, i mean my dad deliveres bread for god sakes

i'm a junior in high school. i really wanna be fluent in french, so im going to go to france for a year. should i do this right out of high school or should i do it right out of college?

well most colleges have a course that you can either spend the summer their or a semester there.. so i would do that.. therefor you arent missing anything here and you are still getting a full education

i burn my face realy bad like i cooked off 4 layers of skin out of 7 it kills and i put stuff on it to make it better but it makes it hurt worce my skin is realy gross so i was wondering will it get back to normal befor school and thats in a little over a month. is there anyway to make it heal faster because im always crying because it hurts soOOooOOO bad

Don't worry it will be gone most likely by the end of the week

i would buy alovera to put on it and/or they make this spray that cools sunburn

nonscented lotion may also help but i would be careful because the scent might make it burn

I would avoid swimming for a few days because again that may burn your face and wash it with nothing but babywash or just plain water

well i work at sears and acually if your store is a decent size there clothes aren't really that bad.. they have been getting cuter in my mind and i am a very abercrombie kind of person and i shp there alot now

also hollister is pretty nice for your budget.. its alot the abercrombie but about half the price and i think their jeans fit better their.

I have heard forever 21 is pretty cheap and is nice but i have never personally been there

and aero is also very cheap and their stuff has been getting cuter as well.

JCPennys is most likely your next best option.. the stuff there isn't really a bad price and its pretty cute stuff

as for bebe, some of the stuff at limited, most of pacsun and victoria secret (i have never been to arden or ann taylor) you won't get much there. The limiteds sale stuff and pacsuns sale stuff are usually at a very good price but their sale selection is very small.. and well bebe you prob couldn't really even get more than 1 outfit with that budget (although its triple my budget)

I really like the clothes at kohls walmart, target(which has reallyyy cute clothes but are acually kinda pricey) but a good fit is harder to come by.

any of those stores you could get good deals on you just have to look around

its razor burn and yes its normal.. it prevent it i use conditioner instead of shaving cream down there

I'm getting blonde high lights next week. I know what shade of blonde to get, but I don't know what it's called. Ok I'm going into Highschool and the highschool im going into says that if you do a sport than you don't have to take gym. So I have the choice of track. And i really want to start running on track but im afraid of what rumors i heard like "running is bad for dancers ( i take dance every week. and i've been dancing like forever and i don't want to give it up.)

Are those rumors true?

I don't think its true..although it really messed up my dancing because i got a muscle injury and it ended up taking away alot of my flexibility but really it was my own fault because i didn't stretch well enough when i went out for practice in the snow, but as long as you don't compete or anything it should be just fine.

I'm getting my wisdom teeth taken out next week, and I am kind of scared, even though I'll be put to sleep. I guess the thought of people ripping out 4 of my teeth freaks me out.

Does anyone have any tips on getting through it, or getting through the soarness afterward? Thanks.

its not as bad as you think

ad did you know they really don't but you to sleep.. they give you stuff to make you drowsy and erases your memory and also numb you.. because otherwise they would have to put tubes down your throat and what not which makes it hard

anyway its acually easy. They give you enough pain killers so you are fine and stock up on ice cream and stuff like that. and don't plan anything for the next 3-4 days to allow for you to feel better and for the swelling to go down.

Over the years i had 4 molars taken out (in like 4th grade, the same way they take wisdom teeth out) and i also had 14 baby teeth take out without meds because they didn't work on me... and if i could go through all of that you can get 4 wisdom teeth out

I used to have one. If it is your first cell phone and you pay for it yourself i think they are very nice. Like i had virgin mobile and i only payed $20 when i got my mins. and i didn't have to buy new ones until i wanted to so yearly i was only spending like $100. The bad thing its you really can't afford to talk on them. Like with virgin mobile i but on about $20 every 2-3 monthes and each min is 25 cents so you really go through that $20 fast. So i really only used it for texting and emergencies

Also with virgin mobile you can get plans sort of.. like you but the $20 and you have a set amont of mins (like 150) but then you can't use that for texting and it becomes more like a reg plan.

its kind of confusing but all together i really enjoyed it for the 2 years i had it

at a private highschool, what are the tryouts usually like? what do you do, and do you need to come up with your own cheer, and do you have to have experience and have to know certain things? please answer in detail, and thanks in advance!!

Most private schools aren't as hard as public schools because they usually have less people. As long as you are fit and have a perky personality you are usually gaurenteed in, but if you tried out at my school you would have had to cheerleaded your whole life and being able to do at running backhandspring back tuck

My mother just ordered ProActiv Solution for me and i want to know approximately how long it will take to clear up my minimal acne. I only weant answers from people who have tried it or who have a friend who has tried it. I hear it's fast and works miracles, but school starts in 4 weeks and i need to clear up my acne!

I used it for about 4 monthes and saw no difference at all. I thought it was a total waste of money. but my mother used it and started seeing results in a month so hopefully you should be fine for school

i would try leavin flyers out in your neighborhood to "take care" of peoples homes while they go away like collect mail, water plants, feed pets, etc... my cousin started doing that and he got alot more back than he ever imagined

hi im 18 years old and ever since i was about 6 and started painting my nails and that same day or after i eat the nail polish off my nails like i peel it off with my teeth. I have been doing it ever since and i told my aunt and shes like you STILL do that you can get stomach cancer or another crazy diesese! is this true?? how bad is it for you?? please help

yes it can be very harmful

nail polish contains alot of toxins and can be very dangerous if you ingest that much
