i was wondering if it is possible to get your abs in to shape or loose 2-3 ounds in 2 days? if it is, how do i go about doing it? thanks in advance (link)
|
3500 calories equal 1 pound. You would have to comepletely stop eating and work out a few hours each day. Besides that, if you dehydrate yourself then you'll loose that much weight from lack of water. Then as soon as you drink something it all comes back. None of this is healthy (obviously).
|
taking steriods causes you to gain weight.
but after you stop taking it do you loose the weight? (link)
|
The side effects depend highly on the type that you are taking. Google the name and read the literature that comes up. You will naturally drop the weight but it will be slower then when you gained it.

I worry about EVERYTHING. The smallest thing gets my mind going and I won't stop worrying about things until someone assures me of the situation. Even if it's something like my girlfriend not contacting me for just two days, I start to go crazy! My mind keeps thinking "what if? what if? what if?!" Are there certain techniques I can use to keep myself from doing this? Or anybody else who might have problems like this who could help me?
Thank you! (link)

Generalized Anxiety Disorder my dear, you are a textbook case. Tell your doctor.

Alright i`ve been taniing at the tanning bed..&& my little sister well isn`t old enough to go so she asked if i`d lay out at my grandma`s with her && i said yes.. Well my mom said i shouldn`t do that because my aunt did that && got burnt real bad && had scapes all on her chest.. So i want to know if this is a good or bad idea.. I mean my sister looks up to me && i said i`d do it.. But i don`t want to do anything dangerous.. But my mom might be makin it up i couldn`t tell if she was serious so please tell me ladies!! (link)
|
I don't think it's a good idea. Tanning is inherantly unhealthy and there is a reason why there are age restrictions on tanning salons, beds, and the like. Maybe your mother also knows something you don't about the sensitivity of your sisters skin or the harshness of that particualr bed.

i am very perplexed. i attended a christian school since i was kindergarten and i already accepted Christ as my Lord and Saviour. but i'm moving to a new school this year, a catholic one. but since i'm not baptized christian, and i was baptized catholic when i was a baby, so i'm technically a catholic.but since i'm not baptized christian, people will never think i'm christian.so people will really think i'm catholic because i was baptized and i have certificate as proof. i need help because i dunno should just go on prtending i'm a catholicwhen i'm really not. i really dunno what to do. sorry if its a bit confusing but pls. help.

Christianity is technically very all emcompassing, so it doesn't matter which type of specific church you were baptized in.I just want to point out that none of that matters, you are what you want to be. It sounds like you want to be more protestant then Catholic, and that's fine. You don't have to become Catholic because you go to that school, take it more as a learning experience about this other side to Christian religion.

i'm getting married soon to this wonderful guy. we've been together a few years and he's really wonderful. there's only one slight problem. i've done stuff with other guys, but i've never had sex. i've always promised myself to save it for my wedding night. my partner, on the otherhand, has had sex with several girls. this sorta bothers me because i know our first time together isn't going to be as special for him as with me, because he's already had other girls before me to compare to, and everyone knows your first time is the most special too. i'm just so jealous when i think of the other girls who got there before me and who had him.
for some reason i always ask him about his other girlfriends because of curiosity but when i find out more it upsets me. but i still want to know more. it makes no sense. i know he really loves me, but i always want to know if he loved them too and every detail of their relationship. i can't seem to focus on the present. i don't speak to my ex boyfriends but he speaks to his past girlfriends. we even ran into one once and they got on so well i felt so dreadful.
i don't know why i feel like this. i have a wonderful guy yet i'm letting these stupid worries ruin our relationship. why do i feel like this and what can i do? (link)
|
It IS normal to feel this way, but you have GOT to let this go.It will drive you insane and slowly damage your relationship. Just because he had sex before and has exgirlfriends does not mean that your first night together will mean any less to him. He is all yours now. The other girls? They are long gone and I bet he is nothing more then casually friendly with them. You are the one he is marrying and wants to be with forever. Trust me on this, I am one jealous lady myself, and I have seen time and time again that it will get you nowhere. And the more details you get about the past, the more you'll obsess over it and compare yourself to them. Tell him your worries and how you feel jealous and why, it sounds like you could use some validation from him. Just don't ask for details because you'll be sorry you did. After you have this conversation, let it go.

I've been friends with a married man for about 3 years and we have never crossed the line. I knew him and his wife before they moved last year. I thought of him as one of my closest friends- he was someone I could always talk to. Well yesterday we got into a big fight on MSN messenger. I told him that I missed him (because I harldy get to see him since he moved) and then he made a comment "I'm a married man". Then I said "I know- just friends". I was upset and told him I didnt think we should talk anymore. He wanted to know why. I told him that his comment " I'm a married man" made it sound like I wanted an affair with him. I assured him I was not like that. I said I would never cheat with a married man because it happend with my mom and dad. I also said I hoped we could still be friends. Well I thought he would have respected me for saying that but instead he coldly responded with "good bye". He gave me no explanation either. I thought this man was my friend- surely a true friend would understand. Now he has completely shut me out. He won't answer my phone calls and I sent two emails saying that he was the best friend I ever had and I hoped we could still be friends. He is not responding. This man has been an important friend in my life for the last 3 years- this just doesnt make sense. Why do think he's being this way? Do you think he really did want an affair with me and now is miffed that he knows he won't be getting any? (link)
|
Yeah I agree with the last person, it seems like you took his comment "I'm a married man" way to seriously. Is that all he said that sparked your whole cheating explanation that you proceeded to give him? If so, he probably read all that like "whoa...what are you getting at". He might have said that lightly as a joke, or just casually and then you proceeded to tell him that you didn't want to talk anymore, started talking about cheating with him and how awful that would be, and then started going on about how much his friendship means to you. In all honesty, I would have been freaked out by all that, I bet he didn't mean for you to think that was what he meant at all. All i'm saying is that from the snip-its of conversation that you wrote in your question, I didn't get the impression that he ever wanted to have an affair with you.

So there is this guy and well he really likes me, I fooled around with him for a while, but got really bored of him, now he text messages me and Calls me and he's even said he comes to my house in the middle of the night in his car and watches it all night cause he misses me, he seems really weird, what should I do?
(link)
|
You're right, this is frightening behavior. If you still live with your parents then tell then that he is frightening you and coming to the house at night to watch you, they need to intervine. If you don't (or if that doesn't work), then yes, call the police.

I've noticed that everytime I run,jog or walk in the morning when there is a chilly breeze, my legs get really itchy to the point that I can't stand it. I go home and I scratch till my legs are raw and red. I put water on it and it helps but not alot. Is there any thing I can do to prevent this? What is it? and is there any medication I can take to help the itching? Also, does that happen to a lot of people or is this just me? Thanks! I really appreciate it. (link)
|
The way you describe the itching....I think you might have an actual genuine problem (not mere dry skin). Make an appointment with a dermatologist and let them know about the intense itching. No, it isn't normal.

okay so when i wear tampons i almost always use the "heavy" ones because i don't find the "regular" ones protect me as much. but when i take out the "heavy" ones (after 7-8 hours) they are sometimes not fully absorbed. are there any risks in this? (link)
|
It depends on what you mean by "fully absorbed". If you only see a little white then you are fine. If it is more then half white, then use regular. Do not leave a tampon in for more then eight hours, ever. It ups your risk for TSS. The person who said that you are either susceptable to TSS or not (and if you're not, you'll never get it) is wrong, It is caused my a microorganism that thrives in such environments. It is very uncommon, but those warnings are on the box for a reason.

okay well i am going onto my parents plan this weekend. and i am going through sprint. i really want a razr phone but they do not sell them at the sprint store so this is what i was thinking. (i have no knowledge on this whatsoever). okay well i was just going to add a line onto their plan and with that i can get one of the free phones. well if i got a free phone would i be able to switch the sim card out of that phone and possibly like buy a razr off of ebay with no sim card in it and put the sim card from my free phone into the razr phone? would the sims card only work on sprint phones or how would that work? i know one of my friends got a new razr phone and she put her sim card from her old phone into her new razr. but she had cingular. thanks in advance. and i am getting my phone this weekend so please hurry. Just so you know, razor phones are extremely flimsy and easy to break. I don't recomend them, especially if you carry them on your person.

me and my boyfriend are expecting a baby in february. we are obviously not married- but im wondering if when it comes, will it obtain my last name or his?- i was thnking itd have to be mine- since hes not really my spouse- but is there any way can request that it has his last name if needed? (link)
|
Don't stress sweetie! The baby can have which ever last name you choose, there aren't any rules that say it has to be his OR yours. I personally recommend that you give it yours, but think about it and don't let anyone pressure you.

thank you for your feed back because it is actually a very big turn on to get her to do that some times she can squirt all the way across the room.only thing is its hard to have sex in different places because of what she does (link)
|
Your welcome.
|
ok, i go to swimteam during the summer, but i started my period. what tricks can i do-besides a tampon-to prevent blood from coming out? i've tried panty liners already... (link)
|
You need to wear a tampon. The advice some people gave that the blood flow stops in water is complete crap. Try it and you'll find out :)
|
every time my fiance and me make love we need to put a pad on the sheet because she squirts everywere and not alittle either is this common?I`m 42 male and my fiance is 47 female (link)
|
It's female ejactulate. A small percentage of women involuntarily do this very often during sex, a much larger percentage will do this once in awhile, and many women never will. It's a little uncommon that she does it as much/often that she does, but there is certainly nothing wrong with her.

Alright. Well, Im kinda freaking out here. I don't know what to do for my junior year. I have taken three years of science already: Earth Science, Biology, and Chemistry. I've passed them all with high 90's.
Problem is, i hate science. i dont have to take physics next year, and i could actually finish my requirements. But, some people are saying colleges only like it if you take 4 years. HELP. (link)
|
Colleges like science, they also like history, English, foreign language, math, clubs.....
If you hate then move on to something you enjoy, especially if it will relate to what you want to study in college. That is the most important thing.

So basically I have a gynecologist appointment in a week. What should I expect? My mom told her I haven't had sex, but I have, and there's questions I want to ask her and stuff. So how should I ask the questions, or does she give me a chance to ask her stuff? Any help would be appreciated, thanks. (link)
|
She'll ask you a few questions, give you a breast and a pelvic exam. It'll just be you and the doctor so feel free to ask whatever you want, their job is to help. And they won't tell your mom either, so don't worry. Be completely honest though, in case any problems come up.

Ok, So I am 13 years old and since May 2005, I have found myself madly in love with no other than a 20 year old McDonalds worker. He has started to open up a little more in the past couple of months, and he gives me lots of hugs, flirts, and shows all the "signs" of love back. Yet he has never told me. This week we are supposed to go to the movies. My question is, Should I open up and tell him I love him or should I just wait until he does? (link)
|
Wow, that's sick. He is sick for persuing this opportunity to take advantage of your youth, not to mention his pedaphilia. It's hard to hear, I know. Please stay far away from him.

OK, what does it mean when a grown man has naked barbie dolls in his apt. with their hands & feet tied & tape over their mouths? (link)

It means you need to get out while you still can.

Okay,so i have a friend who started to use"lean blance" diet pill.
She lost 25 pounds in to weeks.
I really want to use it.
My mom isnt a fan of pills, but hear is my story.
Last summer,i worked out and took dance classes.
Somedays i would work out for 3 hours others 2 hours.
But everyday i worked out ate the right food.
No result,after 4 months.
Zip,nada
So yes i have anger about it,because i pushed myself to a place ive ever pushed myself. And im proud of that.
But,im not happy with the outcome.
So i talked to my mom about it but she doesnt want me to.
The sideafixs are headachs or stomach promblems.
Can,some one help thinks of ways of trying to help my mother understand.
Because she says workout, and it MAKES me so mad.
Because i worked my ass off,and nothing to prove of it.
Its so hard to lose weight.
And im not happy with my self,at all.
Can people give me suggestions as to what to tell my mom ?Please
Please dont delete

Diet pills are not safe. Period. Even the few that are perscribed by doctors aren't completely safe, and those who take them need to be closely monitored. You mother is correct in not allowing you to use them. In fact, if you are so young that you need your mother's permission then there is no reason at all that you would need any medication to loose weight. There are stuctured programs that you can join (like weight watchers) that are completely safe and effective for everyone. Even though you didn't loose weight in dance, a structured program will pinpoint what you need to do. Keep in mind that however long it takes to loose (2 weeks for your friend) is how long and easy it will be to gain it back. Those pills reduce water weight, not fat. Which means (shocker!) that a little water is all it takes to put the pounds back on. Don't waste you money, or you health.
