ok, i go to swimteam during the summer, but i started my period. what tricks can i do-besides a tampon-to prevent blood from coming out? i've tried panty liners already...

The blood stops flowing when you're in water. After you get out, there's still water on your swimsuit so you have about 5 minutes or more before you have to go and put a pad on. Hope I Helped!

So, I'm pretty sure nothing will happen. But, if you are really worried about it then just use a tampon, thats really the only thing that will work. There is no tricks...unfortunatly.
LoveNJstyle answered Monday June 5 2006, 11:51 am: yeah don't try panty liners... i STRONGLY advise that you use tampons because at practice (usually people dont have the lane to themselves) it would be terrible if you did leak and someone behind you get it in their face. if you're light, you can go without anything but really, you need to learn to use tampons. there are no other tricks. <3 [ LoveNJstyle's advice column | Ask LoveNJstyle A Question ]
