So basically I have a gynecologist appointment in a week. What should I expect? My mom told her I haven't had sex, but I have, and there's questions I want to ask her and stuff. So how should I ask the questions, or does she give me a chance to ask her stuff? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

It'll just be you and the doctor so feel free to ask whatever you want, their job is to help. And they won't tell your mom either, so don't worry. Be completely honest though, in case any problems come up. [ Tulipg17's advice column | Ask Tulipg17 A Question ]

The most important thing that you can do is to be honest. If you don't want your Mom to know about your sex life, tell the GYN that, she will most likely understand. Make a list of questions on a piece of paper and take it with you to the appointment. That way you will remember what to ask. At any time during the exam, pull the questions out and start asking away! She will not be offended and if she is doing her job, will provide an answer to all your questions. If you need her to explain, tell her that. [ Nallie's advice column | Ask Nallie A Question ]
