My brother is forced to move to Hawaii on tuesday for 3 years cause of military orders. he isn't able to take the dog with him because of the rabie policy in Hawaii and the money issue of getting the dog tested(my parents won't let my brother borrow money.). He asked everyone he knew to take care of the dog but they all said no. I wanted to take care of the dog but my parents told me and my brother that they hate animals and that I won't be able to concentrate in school and that school is my top priority. I've tried talking to my parents about it but they always get pissed off and yell at me. So my brother has no choice but to send him to the animal shelter. How can I persuade my parents to let me keep the dog? (link)

i have had a sugar glider for three weeks now and she still won't let me hold her. i've tried holding a walnut on my hand but she just steals the walnut and runs off. i tried to hold her while she was occupied with her nut but she kinda attacked me. i don't want her to be unsocialized because i don't think i'll get the full enjoyment out of her. Please help me. She's the cutest thing and when you look into her big buggy eyes you just want to hug her. oh yeah, she's a little under a year old if that helps

Don't worry about it. She will come to trust people in time. Just have everyone that comes over give her a 'peace offering' of sorts. Eventually she will come to people for food. Then someone will pet her, and she'll eventually realize she likes it. She will. Say, where can I get a sugar glider? ;)

Hi,
I asked the question about french manicure kits. I was wondering how it works, cuz I don't get it at all. When the people at the nail place give you a french manicure, they have that pen looking thing and they put the white airbrush stuff in it. Then they put that square tipped thing over your nail and airbrush the tip. When you buy a french manicure kit, does it come with something like that so your able to do it like the people at the nail place do? If not, then how are you supposed to give yourself the french manicure with just the pink nail polish for the base that they give you, and the white for the tip of your nail? If someone can, please explain this to me. Sorry I asked so many questions. I really need to know what store you would get a good kit at. Sorry this is so long. :-) (link)

Not sure, but I think you paint on the base, then put a shaped sticker over it and paint the space that's left white, or something to that effect. Hope I helped.

This seems to happen a lot. I like a guy for awhile, then we get together and the likeness factor soon goes away. Whats wrong with me? You want to be like everyone else
You want to be popular
Think about the reason, and think about WHY you need a boyfriend. Anyway, I'm sure you've had at least ONE good friend in Elementary, and in any case, you'll make more friends in school. Once again, don't worry about it. Hope everything goes well.

Simple... just look up a pic of her on the internet and show it to your hair stylist. Unless you don't have a printer, but most public libraries will let you print off the computer there.

Would you consider water all over the place messy?
Get some clear tape and put it around the spray nozzle in the sink so it will spray when the sink is turned on. I think you can guess the rest. Point it where the person who turned it on would be. Then tell him to go get some tap water (you make the excuse)

Tell her that you love her and that you would be sad if she "left you". This is a hard situation, I had a friend like that... it got so bad that I told the councilor, and she never attempted suicide again, even though she had to move away... Sometimes people just need a knock on the head, so if that doesn't work, tell her you don't want her to die. Sometimes, if you shock people enough, they care.

well 13 months ago my doctor said i was gonna get my period in 6 months to a year.. but then a year passed and i still hadn't gotten it.. and then i went to my physical 13 months later and the doctor said another 6 months to a year.. but ive gotten like everything such as my growth spurt pubic hair.. vaginal discharge.. etc. but im active.. cauz im a runner... but i haven't ran since the end of may cauz i have an injury.. so i know like you shouldn't want your period or w/e.. but i just wanna get it over with because all of my friends have it except me and i feel so left out.. and my best friend just hers and she says she won't feel comfortable talking about it with me until i got mine.. so i feel so bad.. when do you think i'll get mine??.. do you think i'll have to wait another year?? ok im 15 years old and my boyfrind is 17 we have been together since march 3 2004 and we are still together a week ago i went over to his house like i usually do around 9:00 and his mom was leaving to work we took his little brother swimming after we got out the pool his brother feel asleep on me so we went in his moms room to watch movies and then we started kissing one thing led to another and then we were having sex maybe an hour had past and someone started knocking on the door once i heard the knocking i jumped up grabbed my clothes and ran into the bathroom when chris(my boyfriend) opened the door he had already put on his trunks evnthough his mom hasnt told me anything i feel really uncomfortable when i go over or when we go and eat dinner with his family what should i do? what should i tell his mom?

There are people feeling like this, but don't give in to it. It's not a good thing to be feeling. You need to put your faith in something, like God. Everything will turn around, and you will be all the happier for it. Think about WHY you would want to die. It shouldn't be a scary thing, but think about all the good you can do if you DON'T. Think about how many people you can help. Eventually you will stop thinking this way.

Tell her how you feel. If she doesn't want to hang around you with others, but she does when you're alone, maybe she really does want to be friends. But you have to tell her you wanna be friends around other people, too, or there's no point.

For a musical I am doing with a lot of dancing, I need to wear character heels. My parents are "opposed" for some reason against my character heels because they think it's a health problem for me, even though the heel is only one inch and the whole thing is built for dancing in. They want to buy me other shoes, but I need to wear my character heels! What can I do to convince them? They are CONVINCED that their way of thinking is right without listening to me, too. (link)

It sounds like your parents know or think they know what they're talking about. Just tell them that if you got hurt or whatever they're afraid of, it would be your fault and you would deal with it.

Try doing your hair a different way every day. It sounds like your hair would look good in french braids, if you can do them. Also, you can do a loose ponytail, tuck your hair through the middle so it comes out the bottom and pull it tight. You could change your makeup and dress differently, but you should let your personality be the same as it was before. Good luck!

i was wondering if anyone knew how to cut pants into skirts. because i have like 3 pairs of pants that fit in the waist but dont fit in the legs. so if anyone could help i rate high! (link)

You need to cut along the inside seam of the pants. then turn it all inside-out, fold in the cut material, and sew from the inside. If you are a good sewer, you can make the new seam look like an old one. Then you fold it right-side-out again, and the cuts are hidden by the seam and are inside the skirt. Sorry if it didn't make any sense.
