So here's one of the most recent pictures of myself I've got.
I've just gotten to feel fat anymore. =)
I'm about 4'9' and about 110 lbs. I'd asked a question earlier, and got a few responses saying I should lose some weight, so I was wondering how people thought of this visually. I've really gained alot of weight lately, and I'd like to get back to 90 lbs, maybe even eighty?
I don't want to be super skinny, just skinnier than I am now.
The problem I've got is my stomach. I seriously look pregnant or something in all my shirts, anymore, if I'm not wearing a jacket, and it makes me feel really unconfident.


So.. help? lol.


You're not fat whatsoever. But reading your weight put me on the thought that you might be on the chubby side -- which your not.

I think just cut down on the junk food and then run for at least 15 minutes every other day. It should help : ]

The answer is no, you cannot get pregnant before you start your period. But if you have sex, it will mess up your hormones like crazy.

ive had discharge for about 3 years now and im 13, but i havent gotten my period. i was in health class and it said to get your period you must have boobs[[or small ones..ha like me!]] you get discharge, pubic hair, and on eother thing that i have gotten!!! i think something is rong with me. both sides of my family seem to have gotten there period young, or who ive talked to, my aunt my mom, and my other aunt. is something worong with me????

Nothings wrong with you, my friend in high school is 15, and she just got her period, her mom got her period when she was 10!
So don't worry, you're perfectly fine, My friend got her period when she had humongous boobs, yet I hardly had any and I got mine. So you're fine. Only start to worry when you're 16-17.

Hi.
I'm a long time honor roll student, and I've just recieved a Who's Who Outstanding Stundents in America letter.
It says to register for the website and stuff, and a scholorship is possible if I'm accepted..
Has anyone had experience with this? Is it a good program? Is it even legit? lol.

I discharge alot. Its not just right before my periods going to come. Its usually a little bit each and everyday, somedays more, somedays less. Well, its clear and it doesn't have a scent, so thats good. However, I'm worried that it might be bad that I discharge so much. Also, its a pain because I constantly feel wet. I hate wearing pantyliners because I prefer wearing thongs, plus they never make me feel dry.

What should I do?

Hey, I have the same problem, however it just started.
Unfortunately, the best thing you can do is to wear pantyliners. There isn't any pills or medicine to stop discharge, its a normal thing. Its a good thing.

So I met this guy on an interactive internet game in September.

Well, I've been talking to him ever since, and we talk a lot.
Our friendship just recently blossomed into something beautiful.
I've never really felt this way about anyone before.
I love him and he loves me.
And fyi, I know he's safe. I've spoken to him on the phone, and I have his address.

But my real question is,
Is this worth it?
All this effort.
He lives in North Carolina
And I live in Texas.
He's 17 and I'm 14.

When we were first talking, I told him I was 16, and I just recently told him I was 14, and nothing really changed between us.

My real concern is that I will never meet him.
We live so far apart.
And I know that I love him.
Nothing can deny that.
But it hurts me, that he's so far away.

So do you think that I should keep this going?
I mean, I turn down guys for him, because he is the keeper of my heart.

It's just so hard to keep up with.
Sorry, I just kind of rambled.
Any type of opinions would be greatly appreciated.

I agree with the person below me. Sometimes, age difference doesn't matter, however, because you live far apart, and he is 3 years older, hes going to probably go off to college.
I hate you break your heart, but honestly, I doubt you'll ever be more then friends. I think its great to have online friends, as I have many. But because hes so much older and so far away, I doubt anythings going to happen.
You can have as many feelings for him as you want -- You can think about him all the time, but he shouldn't stop you from seeing other people. Once you turn older, maybe you will meet.

why does everyone think that sanjaya malakar (one of the finalists in american idol season six) is gay? is it because of his long hair? like some people thought he looekd like a girl.. he doesnt, and never did. i mean nobody really looks at a girl with short hair and thinks its a man. there are other ways you can tell, other than their hair. also, is it that he sounds gay? um he can sing and i dont know too why people think he cant. i dont think he would be in the top 24 if he couldnt sing, since the judges and producers put him in the show in the first place. he just has less experience and such, but he can sing. i mean his performances arent always perfect, usually starting a little shaky and then getting better near the end. still. im getting sick of all these sanjaya haters that make up all these lies. he just doesnt.. seem gay, either. he dresses like a guy too, and in a song he did he danced with paula (the most recent one.. i forget the name of it though but he was wearing a white tux), and in another (you really got me now) at a part he sung to paula too. and in the "bathwater" song he changed some of the lyrics, like the part that was like in the original song that no doubt (well.. gwen stefani) sang, it was "your my kind of man!" sanjaya changed it to "your my kind of girl!". so.. like i dont think hes gay and im confused over this whole big controversy. i dont think hes the worst singer on the show either, but im glad that votefortheworst, even if its not morally good.. gets people to vote for this guy. ughhhhh. what are your thoughts on this? i personally think sanjaya is cute, too. (AND NOT GAY!) :]

Yeah, I am getting kind of fed up with the radio always calling him gay and what not. I think hes an amazing singer. However, he is a bit of a girl = D. Look at his eyebrows. Girls wax their eyebrows, NOT GUYS. In my opinion, hes truley amazing, but a bit of a girl, and hes weird :)
But I like him, don't let the other haters bother you. Think what you want :)

For Easter my family will be coming over my house. All of my cousins are younger than me, and I really don't want them to be bored. So, I've been trying to find some fun outdoor games to play, but I can't say I've been very sucessful. PLEASE help me! the kids are 7,8,and 9 years old. Thanks in advance!

There's this guy in my class that I like, HOWEVER there's this girl in one of my other classes that likes him too (it's obvious she does by her actions)
I don't really know what to put here loool.

Do I try to pursue him or let the girl have him because it seems kind of mean.

Definitly just be yourself. Let her like him, but continue to like him. :)

Well next year I'm going to go to high school so I'm finally the right age (14 hopefully) to get a job. What kind of jobs do you think will be good as a first job? No fast foods. Something good for the community or somethign with a really good pay?

When should I apply? In the start of thsi summer? Beginning of the year when school starts?

Here is advice on where you might be able to get a job at 14:

* Some family restaurant s will hire for dishwasher/bus-boy/girl with parental consent.

* He/she could shovel snow for people in the neighborhood. And in summer mow lawns, pull weeds.

* Some places that sell ice cream/ice cream stands offer jobs for 14 year olds.

* Supermarkets, especially bagging groceries. Many grocery stores in some areas hire at 14. For example, A&P, Publixs, Kroger.

* Fast food restaurants. Some fast food places hire at 14, e.g. McDonalds, Burger King, Wendy's, Subway. Fancy restaurants will not hire you as a waiter.

* If you need a job ask your parents to mow grass, water plants, watch children, help out old or young people,paper boy, build things from stores,ask to put things in certain racks at like gas stations or any other place you might visit,you can be a sweeper at a hair place or and resturant, fast food place.

* You might be able to get a CPR license and get a summer job as a life guard.

* I now work at a horse farm. I help at parties, I groom the horses, and I do other stuff. You should choose somthing you like. If you like animals then you could help out at a shelter.

* I used to work at my church watching the younger children in the nursery.

* I work at a local bowling alley, they have a room for parents to drop off their children while they bowl on leagues. The bowling alley pays me because this way they get more people to sign up for leagues. Sometimes parents will also tip.

* Work at a "Pick-Your Own" Farm. You will get paid a decent amount. For example, in the fall you can go to apple orchards and offer to pick up the apples that have fallen on the ground. I used to do this and get paid 50 cents a basket. This may not sound like much but the basket fill up quick and it still leaves time for other part time jobs.

* You can start your own worm beds and sell the worms for fishing.

* Offer to help clean out peoples garage, barn, attic, basement, etc. They will pay you to clear out the clutter. If theres stuff worth saving that they want to get rid of you can then have a garage sale to earn even more money.

* Look for stuff at garage sales that might sell good on ebay. Remember to bargain at the garage sale, the less you pay the more you will make when you resell the item.

* Paperboy.

* Babysitter.

* Walk dogs or pet sitter.

* Look around your local corner shops, farmshops, charity shops to see if they have any availibilities.

* Camp counselor. Or look at summer camps and after school programs to work with children. Programs are always looking for extra help with the little ones at schools

* You can, actually, get a job at 14 if you live in a state that allows it (California, for example). Most places aren't normally willing to hire 14 year olds, but present yourself to them professionally and you'll definitely impress them. For the child labor laws, just do a search for "[your state] child labor law" obviously plugging in [your state] with the state you live in.

* Do work for your neighbors, e.g. lawn, landscaping, or cleaning out garages.

* Some public libraries hire 14-year-olds to reshelve books. The pay is usually just above minimum wage. Also, during the summer, waterparks like SplishSplash (on Long Island) hire 14-year-olds.
