okay for a while now my moms mental health had been droppin drastically...dillusions and constant mood swings and tons of other sypmtoms that go with bi-polar disorder. today she went in and explained to the doctor what was happening to her...after we all told her we thought she was bi polar she wanted to go see for herself. Well as we all thought she is bi polar and she has been put on medication...but we as a family really don't know how to deal with this. She will be on medication to help her but things seem different now that we truly now what is wrong. What can we as a family do to help support her in the drastic change in our lives? (link)

I'm bipolar, pretty severe type 2 bipolar as a matter of fact. I've been on meds for over a year... what I can tell you is that it's going to be harder for her than you could ever understand. She's older than I, that I assume, so it'll probably be even harder for her than it's been for me.
I've switch meds three times and now they have me on three different meds at once. Each one makes things different but I was never sure if it was better. I'm still not stable, a year later, and things are up and down and that is what you have to be prepared for.
I know I've forgotten what NORMAL is... I'm only used to up and down and up and down and she probably is too. She might have trouble with the changes, not being able to get back to that maniac high happy really upset me when I started meds. It was my happy place.
You need to realize that bipolars live in a different world than you do and the normal range of emotions doesn't feel right. I pray your mother responds well to the medications they have her on, unlike me. I pray she doesn't have to change and experiment and get frustrated, but if she does all you can do to support her is bare with with her and support her. Be there for her when things get hard and be there to celebrate with her when things are good.
She might say things that are cruel without knowing it. This happened to me a lot when they first started me on meds. I didn't understand, and she might not either. Just realize that your mother needs you, now more than ever and that it'll be hard. I know that if people had known this for me, I would have been thankful... so very thankful.
I wish her the best of luck and pray she does better than I, with all of my heart.

My fiance dumped me one year ago. We were together for 3.3 years. How long does it usually take to get over it. I have moved on somewhat it is a complicated story and there is not enough room here to say. I am currently dating someone else and have been in two other relationships since. I am expecting a child in dec from one of the relationships and would love to get back with the guy from the other relationship but overall I still have feelings for my ex fiance. (link)
|
You were close to marriage, so I assume that means you and he were very close. It's going to take a while and there's no quick fix for it. You just have to wait for a while... try to live life and not worry about getting over him.
It's hard, and I know. I still love an ex and we haven't been together for... four and a half years now if I'm counting correctly. I'm madly in love with the guy I've been with for a year and a half but I still see the ex, we're friends. I still love him, it's still hard.
It's hard, and it'll be hard for a long time, no doubt, but the thing you need to do is just try and live, not focus on it. That's what worked for me, anyway. My brother is different. He went three years before he got into another relationship whereas I jumped right into another one to try and forget. You just have to live and live the way YOU want... the healing will come on its own time so you can't be waiting for it or life passes you by.

I'm male, single(never had a girlfriend before!), and 22! I speak English though I'm not from the US. We are a Catholic nation.
I have this officemate/friend of mine whom i am attracted to. She's pretty, witty, friendly, and kind. But it bothers me if i really like her for who she is because i find her noisy and sometimes i think i can't relate to her(she's full of positivity and jolliness while i am more of a serious- and silent-type of person).
However, i can't stop thinking of her. And it bothers me that when i think of her, its always about sex. It makes me wonder if i really like her or i just think of her as a sex object.
And yet, we are catholics; and she is a very devoted one. Thus, if i only like her for sex, then i won't be able to have sex with her coz the Catholic point of view of sex is that it is done after marriage; and she sticks to our religious principles.
I have actually courted her before, but stopped because of some issues like me being jealous (this is another topic/issue of which i believe i am overcoming now).
Do you think things will work out for us if i court her again? I am so attracted to her (though i don't know if my reason for attraction is right). Should i stop this? Thanks!
(link)
|
What I think it really comes down to is that you're never going to know till you court her again.
For some perspective, my boyfriend and I have sex a lot, but he means a lot more to me than just as a sex object. I still like to think about us and sex a lot it just comes with having an attractive guy/girl to be with, but you never know how much someone will mean to you until you're with them.
Because you've courted her before I'd like to think she means more to you than just sex, but you're really the only one that can find out.

Some answers:
Do they itch like mad?
If they do then you might actually have scabies... I had this a while back (got it from my bf's idiot roomie). Your doctor can give you a good prescription for it.
Or, you might have chicken pox... It's a real possibility so don't laugh. Again, you would need to go to a doctor and have yourself examined.
Do they hurt?
You may, in fact, have bedbugs... You can see them though, so scour your bed and bedroom and see if you can see any bugs. they're nocturnal so do it with a soft light (low wattage) and late in the afternoon (around 530 or 6.
If you do or don't find any bugs, strip the bed completely and throw everything you sleep with (stuffed animals, pillows, sheets, blankets, odd articles of clothing, EVERYTHING) into the washer and wash it on HOT at least three times with some very potent laundry soap (which will probably not smell fantastic, yay lye. You can then wash it all with something that actually smells good). If you can't put it all in the washer right then you need to at least get it out of your room and into some place like the garage where the infestation (whatever it may be) can die off while it's waiting to be washed.
In general, wash the bed things, vacuum real good and see a doctor.

are you supposed to wear a mum to the football game? (link)

I've heard this done in some places, like New England areas but I know we didn't at my high school. We just wore our hoodies and jeans and came with our guys, but it might be different where you live... that's just Colorado's view. ^_^

I sit Right infront of the guy i like in skewl like he sits sideways and i sit straight so wer pretty much right next to eachtoher,., i rlly rly like this kid since last year, but i have a hard time talkin to him sometimes, like i do talk to him but not SOO much.
But we do talk
Can anyone please tell me how to talk to him more or gimie some tips,, not things like "so whats ur fav color" nah nothing like that,,i have my friends next to me and he has his friends next to him so i dont want myself to look like an idiot
can anyone like help me or tell me how i should approach him ..
anyhting would be helpful thanks a whole lot (link)
|
Talk to him like you would your friends. Hi, what you do this weekend? Awe man, I totally failed that English test. Blah blah blah.
Just act like he's human and he'll talk to you more.
Or you could take the creeper approach, which is what I tend to do. it works but it's more work. You have to stalk him for a week or so so you already know him pretty well, seeing what he does after school, who he does it with, etc. It's creepy and slightly illegal but once you know him inside and out it's easier to talk to him. You already know what to say, what to bring up and what to avoid.
|
so this is weirding me out now. theres this gut on my bus every sunday afternoon.
he's quite cute and seems to be my type. (shy, likes books, messy hair, wears hats :D)
and for the past couple of weeks ive had dreams about him while asleep and awake about him being my bf.
its really strange. like if i go to make a drink i'll imagine him next to me talking, joking, laughing and cuddling with me.
in the dreams at nite i feel like he could really know me, understand my and my problems and that i could talk to him about them and he could help me. i dont know what to do about it.
i dont know his name and have never spoken to him. this has never happened before so i dont have a clue.
im freaking out about it. should i act on it or not.
could i ever tell him about these dreams?
what if he turns out it be the complete opposite of what ive imagined? (link)
|
I've had these dreams a lot in my life and they usually turn out right. What they don't tell you is everything that could happen in between. Right now I'm having dream where my long term bf and I get married. I'm hoping.
I say you act on it. Talk to him, get to know him and see where it goes. Worse comes to worse it's just a fantasy but in my experiences these sorts of daydreams are messages that this can be the real thing.
I don't recommend telling him about the dreams though. Keeping precognitions (your dreams) to yourself makes you sound less crazy... trust me.

im 18/f
within the past couple months i have realized that there has been a weird smell coming from "down there" i dont know what it could be. i wash it everyday and i have never had sex before, i dont know if that could affect anything but i have alot of discharge and i went to the doctor to see if anything was wrong and she said that its normal to have discharge and it means that your body is just cleaning itself and there isnt really anything i can do. but i discharge so much that i have to wear a panty-liner and that i have to wear a tampon everyday because if i dont it will get all over the place and it feels disgusting. i just dont know where this weird smell is coming from and if and when i decide to do something with a boy i dont want it to smell down there...gross. any suggestions or comments to why this could be happening? thanks! (link)
|
It's pretty normal, and maybe you're just now becoming aware of the smell, but if it really bugs you there are things you can do.
Cranberry juice. It's great for UTI's and really anything that's weird down there. Drink lots of it, and juice high in citric acid. It helps clean out the whole body and keeps excess discharge out of there.
Limit red meat intake as it puts a lot of toxins in your body that have to come out somehow....
A douche can help as well, always go non-scented if you get one though, otherwise the perfumes can actually irritate the area and make things worse.
Drink more water. Seriously, it help like you wouldn't believe. You'll have to pee a lot till your body gets used to it, but guarantee it will help. Celery is basically water too, so eating some of that daily will help too and you can drink a little less water (it also has negative calories if you're watching your weight since it takes more calories to digest than you get from it).
Doing all of these at the same time will give you the fastest effects.

well my friend's parents are getting a divorce because her mom cheated and she is leaving her current husband for the man she cheated and my friend doesn't know what to do and she's asked me for advice...but i don't know what advice to give her...the only thing that i told her is that things like that is a part of life...but i don't think it's good enough so if anyone else has better advice out there could you please help me??? thanx in advance

The main thing is that she doesn't let her world fall apart. Things are hard now, and anyone hearing the situation will know that but never first hand like she will. She needs to spend time with friends and not think about it until it's easier to deal with, and that could be a while.
She's been plunged into a world where things are falling apart and she needs to have some stability. She can find that in people like you and her other friends and she's going to need it.
It's okay to cry and it's okay to be angry and she needs to talk to someone when she feels that way, a friend or a counselor, and when she feels like it she can talk to her parents about it.
Move slowly and pace yourself on what you can stand to deal with. That's what she should know.

Alright well i have never been kissed before. I just got a boyfriend on saturday named david and i really like him. We "talked" for a month and a half before he asked me out. So, we know eachother well. He knows i haven't ever kissed a guy before and he told my friend that he wanted it to be a good one. Now, i don't know when he wants to kiss because he walks me to my classes and we hug and thats when couples usually kiss but i'm just not sure. I don't know what to do after we hug and i just don't know what to do or how to act or when he is going to do it and i am just really confused and nervous. I'm not sure when he wants to do it or what i should do and i am definatly not talking to him about it. Please help!
My name is rachel. (link)
|
Well Rachel,
The thing about first kisses is that when they should be random, unexpected, and perfect. Stop worrying. If he's smart, he'll wait for a special moment, on a date or something, and wait for it to feel right... and if you're paying attention you'll feel it too and it'll just happen. It'll be beautiful and just like out of a movie.
So, don't worry, don't talk to him about it, just let it happen. You'll like it better that way.

so about 2 weeks ago my bf finger banged me for like the first time and im kinda nervous that he had cum on his hand or something and i got my period on the right day this month but its inside of me and it just wont come out i need help pleasee (link)
|
If it's inside of you, how do you know you got it? I'm not understanding this real well....
|
Okay! 15/ female.
so i like this guy alot, and he likes me too. we are talking so im happpy about that. but then he has this crazy EX girlfriend that starts drama with everyyyyyyyyyyyyy girl he tries to go out with so me and him were keeping it on the DL. but of course i told my best friends, and now this one girl who is good friends with his EX and is madly in love with him, she found out and told him she knows and bla bla bla, and that i told people so now hes mad at me! and i dont want him to stop talking to me and he is kinda really mad !
pleaseee help! asap (link)
|
Oh dear.
Well, there isn't a whole lot you can do right now. The ball's in his court. He's mad but if he likes you he'll get over it. I don't recommend telling your best friends things anymore if they couldn't keep this a secret.
As for the psycho that's madly in love with him and told him... I could think of a number of hateful, vengeful things to do to her, most of which are illegal, but in general I'd let her play herself out, because I psycho is a psycho and will reveal themselves as one in short periods of time. Lol. That'll be fun to watch, trust me.
In general, you'll need patience. A lot of it.

well my ex dumped me and he said that the reason for it is because of his concussion. he said that his concussion messed his head up so much that he only sees me as a friend now. he said even his favorite foods changed.
i'm just wondering if a concussion can really do that, make a person stop caring about another person in a certain way.
thank you. (link)
|
Unless he's severely damaged his frontal lobe, look up Phineas Gage for what I mean by that, then he's probably lying. His entire personality would have been changed, not just his taste in food and women.
I wish I had a better answer for you, one that was more favorable...

if a girl is having problems reaching her point but feels it is almost there but never comes, what is the problem and how can i make it happen? (link)
|
First let me extend me sympathy. That has GOT to be annoying. I know it was for me.
Secondly, there are all sorts of things you can do... oral is great for that sort of thing, and there are different ways you can use it. You can oral till you get there, oral till you're almost there and sex the rest off, or sex till almost there and then oral it off. You can also try touching yourself while he goes at it. Guys like it because it's hot or something... my boy loves it. Toys are good, certain lubes like warming and tingling, relaxing instead of focusing on it is a major help...
Mainly, find out what gets you there and incorporate it.

I;m a female and 16 years old. I recently met this guy through an instant messenger. Yes i know it seems very dangerous but i can assure you he is who he says he is. I made sure of it. Well i have been talking to him for mayber 5 months now and we have already confessed feelings for each other and he has planned to come see me when i turn eighteen. All is great and dandy but here is the thing...i like him i do i can't deny that but sometimes i just don't feel like this thing could work out. Is it because he is so far away that i feel like that or could it be something else (link)
|
I had this happen to me... He promised to come see me... and it took ten years for him to because he waited till I was 19... Yeah, we talked for a LONG LONG time...
I love him to this day, and I really wish things could have worked out, but the distance and everything really messed all that up long before he came to see me. He came to see me because he loves me too, but he agreed that everything was muck.
If you can make it work, then you can, but I think you need to seriously think about the idea that it might not. Long Distance or no, it always hurts when things don't work out. Trust me.

Usually im the type to go out & be with my friends, but lately im totally content being in bed with a bag of chocolate chips & my cell to text my boyfriend & my best friend... im kinda social @ school but i always spend lunch & breaks with my boyfriend... im kinda wondering where my friends are & when im around them it just isnt as fun as it used to be, this year i just started going to school away from all my old friends & its kinda hard for me to meet new people, wer cool during classes & assemblys but now we hav a 2 week vacation & i think im gna spend most of it at home alone with my family & that dosent bother me at all, im actually excited for it.
Which is so wierd for me! I feel like im changing as a person. I dont usually do long term relationships but me & my boyfriend have been dating for two months already (we've been really close for the past 2 years) & i know im not going to kiss him for another 6 months but just being near him & talking is so nice. I do have to be the breaks with him though.
My question is, is this a healthy way to live my life or should i be more concerned about being out with my friends? Ittle be 9 at night & theyll call me to come over & bake cookies but theyr so hyper & they scream a lot & as much as i love them im just in the mood for a low key night. Movies, popcorn, etc. & i feel like nobody i know except my boyfriend knows how to just chill.
Is that so wrong? (link)
|
I go back and forth between being a homebody and a social butterfly. It's just a thing. It happens.
My boyfriend is a homebody all the time, and it's nice to know that when I hit that mood that I can just go and chill with him... but I drag him out too.
Just go with how you feel. You're not depressed, you're just cycling. Happens to everyone.
|
ok so im sure you get a lot of questions like this but i just need some help
ive been dating my boyfriend for 8 months, almost 9 months and i didn't start loving him till about about four months, and now i can't imagine with myself with anyone else like i really love him and i don't know what i would do if we broke up like even everyone says we make the perfect couple like we've never even had a fight and we've been dating for 9 months almost and i see him everyday and night and i can't explain it i just love him a lot.
well we have a new guy at school he starded this year there, well he messaged me all the time on myspace and stuff and we talk in school quite a bit and im not gonna like he is pretty hot and i don't know theres just something attracts me to him and well he sent me a massage how he thinks im cute and wants to hang out. hes 17 turning 18 amd im 16 turning 17. i mean i love my boyfriend sooo much but out of no where it seems like im starting to like this new kid and i really dont know what to do i feel guilty sometimes because because my boyfriend will catch me staring at this kid.. what would you do if you where in my position? (link)
|
I was here a few months ago. I messed up big time and cheated, then felt guilty and broke up with him so he wouldn't find out, then got drunk and told him anyway, and then begged him for months to take me back. We got back together thank god.
Anyways... that was the WRONG way... If I could do it all again, I'd have talked to him about it and told the guy that I'm involved, and in love. If the other guy has any decency he'll back off and stop tempting you. If he doesn't you'll have to find some major will power. Once you find love, you'll know. ^_^

hii.
Okay, so homecoming weekend i had sex for the first time with my boyfriend. This was the 27th. Then we did it again a week later on oct. 5th. i was pmsing at the time and actually surprised i didn't have my period at the time. exactly 28 days after my last period was the 6th. it's now the 8th. I don't feel like i'm pmsing anymore at all. I talked to my friend and my brother about it (he's one of my good friends) they both said it's normal for your period to be late right after you lose your virginity. There were absolutly no complications with sex at all. we used a condom and it didnt break or anything. it was all fine. but i'm getting really worried. any information you have or advice will be wonderful.
Thank you so much. (link)
|
Periods can get messed up by all sorts of things (being around other women too often, sex, and of course pregnancy or just because it doesn't feel like coming). I once went ten months without a period... and I hadn't sex in the past year. That's just how it works sometimes.
If it would make you feel better, go buy a pregnancy test, but I'm pretty sure you're okay. ^_^
|
i don't know if this is in the right subject. hahaha.
but i saw a question on here about seances.
and i searched it on google to read experiences with it.
i eventually got to reading about ouija board experiences.
if you've ever had an experience or have a friend whos had an experience with one i'd LOVE to hear about it.
i think they are very cool! (link)
|
Ouija boards are neat. I have one and my friends and I use it often. We also construct Ouija Boards from scrabble pieces and a glass.
They're fun but often spirits use them to mess with people as opposed to give real messages. Remember that should you play with one.
|
The reason I am asking this question below is because a friend of mine stomach was bothering her and she decided to put down her pants and underwear and lye on her stomach on her bed. Then about fifteen minutes later she swore she felt a p*nis go inside of her. She was home alone. And she also swears that one night she felt something jump on her bed and told her not to move. So can humans have sex with an incubus spirit. And if so how is it and how often do humans have sex with it. And do they come when they want and when you want them to? And can they speak to you as well. Just curious (link)
|
The Incubus can do as they please, without rhyme or reason. You need to be careful about them though because they can start to effect your everyday life.
I thoroughly reccomend that you cleanse the area with sage and annoint the windows and doors of the room with dragon's blood. This will keep out other demonic spirits.
