HI! I am being interviewed to work at Jamba Juice and I beleive I am getting the job. I have never really had a real job but apprenticeship where I only got paid $5/hr. I live in Illinois and am seventeen. I was wondering how much do employees who work there get paid? I really don't care- Just glad to work but am interested in the position and compensation.Thanks for you answer!

i just wanted to let you know that if you're getting paid less then 7 dollars an hour (before tax is taken out) it is considered slavery and you can sue whoever you were working for (unless of course you weren't on the books)

I'm not a stupid girl, but I did something incredibly dumb. I was in kind of a depression fopr a while and I compeltely lost myself, this guy contcted me through a website and we started talking. He made me feel better and i loved talking to him but soon it became something incredibly creepy. he is in his 40's, which I did not know at first, and he says horrible graphic things to me. when i dont respond he calls me a bitch, slut, tease etc. then he aplogizes later and tells me he loves me? I started to get really really scared so I blocked him everywhere i could. He messages me through myspace and I don't respond, i put my profile on private.

it's been 2 weeks and he still tries to contact me. I got TONS of friend requests on myspace of people I dont know and they are all myspaces made that dya, w/ no friend,s so I think it is him... He messaged me and told me he missed me. Looking bck at our conversations he got alot of information out of me because I stupidly thought it wouldnt be a big deal! I'm really scared, I think he could find out where I live, he won't leave me alone, what should I do?

he says things to me like "you're my barbie doll, my sex slave" I start crying when he sends me things like that.

I don't want to go to the police because my parents aren't normal, they are psychotic and they would look at me going to the police as embarressing them. They would for sure kick me out or something horrible if they found out.

I told ym boyfriend, I don't think that's enough. Is there something I can say to him that would make him stop? How do you handle crazy people, should I ignore im or tell him off or be nice about it?

ok i know what it's like and i've been there. DON'T TALK TO HIM PERIOD. the more you talk to him the more he talks to you. EVEN IF YOU SAY TO HIM "STOP TLAKING TO ME BLAHBLAHBLAH..." HE'S STILL GOING TO KEEP ON TALKING TO YOU!!!!

if you ignore him he will eventually get tired of you and go away. just don't say anything. as for myspace i suggest you don't add anyone you don't know and delete anyone off of your friends list that you don't know. also if he has a myspace you can report him. if he has aim or yahoo you can block him and he wont be able to tell when you are online.

MOST OF ALL DON'T CRY ABOUT IT. think about this : you're crying over a guy who won't leave you alone. don't even cry it's not worth it all you need to do is make sure you don't talk to him and you lose contact with him. change your screen name or whatever.

so i'm writing and essay where i'm paralleling my life to a fairytale. one of my family members has multiple sclerosis and i'm saying in my essay in order to reach your happily ever after you have to "bite into your poisoned apple" or "loose your glass slipper". now one of the most common symptoms of MS is optical neuritis, which is where your vision becomes blurred and everything looks really foggy and cloudy. can anyone remember a fairytale/disney movie where there is mist or something to that effect where the character cant see anything? Even if you're not sure, any suggestions would be welcome! Thanks in advance! :]

i believe right when after bambi hears a gunshot there is a bunch of fog and mist and he can't see anything and finally it clears up

On photoshop how do you make the picture so its like black and white, and then one or two coloured things?

first you have to select the area you want black and white and then go into image and click on grayscale at the top bar. this will turn the image black and white.


as for the pictures of the girl in sunglasses, the picture inside the lenses looks like it was clone stamped or copy pasted onto the glasses. i suggest if you have two images and you want to combine them but want one black and white, you would do the following:

open both images and before you combine them, flatten both images and convert their color to RGB in the image options toolbar. then go to image and duotone or image grayscale to convert it to the colors you want. After, you can move one image on top of the other by dragging or selecting using the magic wand tool.

Ok so my best friends little brother keeps kissing or making out with his guy friends, he is eight. Im over their house more than mine. i have nothing against gay people but how do we get him to stop!? I don’t want him to turn out gay. He said him and his best friend he was makin out with were gona have sex hes eight both boys and he was serious. I love him like a brother his sister and I realllly have no idea what to do and shes grounded for getting mad at him about it what are their parents tryin to do? What do we doo?!

ok so this little boy should not be doing this whether he decides to be gay or straight, for the simple reason that he is WAY TO YOUNG. this only leads to trouble and even if he was kissing girls it's still not the right age to making out.

also, he cannot be expected to decide his sexual preference right now. here's an example. my best friend who's a girl had a female teacher one year when she was 9 years old and she absolutely fell in love with her. however she mistook that love for "in love" rather that just a friendly bond. she was a very smart girl for her age and realized her mistake. to this dday she claims she might have been a lesbian because she was confused at age 9.

tell your friend to take him out to the movies or go somewhere he likes and don't give him a lecture because no kid want's to hear it from their sister. the parents should most definately be informed though.

if you're sad some good things to do is listen to happy songs. also there is this pressure point right above your fourth finger that relieves depression or sadness so if you rub there for a couple of minutes it should help =]]

DON'T EVER CRY OVER A GUY. GUYS ARE ASSHOLES IF THEY MAKE A GIRL CRY. NO GUY IS WORTH YOUR TEARS ... EVER!!! family problems will always happen. and if you are sad then it's reasonable to get angry fast so just before you get mad and your emotions start going, think about what's going on first and see if your sadness is worth it.

your eyes are gorgeous!!!! i think a little black or gray eye liner would be great. if you use gray eye liner, and get a gray eye shadow, you can make a "misty" look when you blend them together. IT WOULD LOOK GORGEOUS ON YOU!!!
also, try a little "burt's bees" on your lips. they are sold in drug stores and you should look for a good shade. probably a very light pink that's barely noticable would be good.

ok so everyone knows the potential breakup song so that might be really nice. there are high pitched notes in there and i get paid to sing and i did that song for a show a couple of months ago. you just need to make sure that you are hitting each note on beat and on the correct pitch.

also if you want to do something a little older, there's this great song that requires EXTREMELY HIGH PITCHED NOTES. i did the song as well and it blows people away. it's "tell him" by celine dion and barbra striesand.

if you like the musical "chicago" you can do the "cell block tango" which was really good and you can split it into 2 people instead of 6, it's really easy.

if you want more of a "spice sexy" edge you can always do beautiful liar by beyonce and shakira.


also you don't have to necessarily get a duet... you can always decide who sings what even if it's a solo.

ok so i dont know if your bf is the type to wear the dog tags but there's this kiosk in malls that lets you choose one out and put a picture or engraving on it and he can wear it. i just got it for my friend and it looks amazing.

it doesn't cost 200 dollars but it's real gold or silver and you shouldn't worry about spending 200 or more cuase thats not what makes the gift special. i wouldn't want a 200 dollar gift that looked like crap so don't pay attention to prices

i have the motorola razr (red) from sprint and have had TONS of problems with it. recently it will tell me i get a text over 2 hours after it was sent. this is completely inconvenient especially in case of emergency. is it my phone or the service that is the problem? what are good RELIABLE phones for sprint?!

razr's are known to be a very slow product. and this goes for any company with razrs. i suggest the LG Rumor. it's a very good and convenient phone. also, samsung will work fast but motorola products you are guaranteed to have the most trouble with.

I feel completely stupid for saying this, but I cant stand myself. I mean I hate the way I look. I hate like everything about me. Well okay not everything, because I love the way I think like i know i'm intelligant and stuff but I litteraly hate myself. I dont feel like I have any true friends and I hate myself more for saying that because I have a best friends that I can tell mostly everything except this kind of stuff. i understand you feel like the only thing you have is your intelligence, BUT from what you're saying about you not having true friends and actually having a best friend has to somehow make you question whether or not you're thinking about things the right way.
and if you feel you have no control over your life cause then you are absolutely wrong. it is always up to you as long as you decide what you want and go for it. and i'm sure you are meant for a lot of things but haven't realized it. for instance, this best friend of yours... you have a meaning to be with that person and be their best friend because that best friend needs you. and if the friend didn't need you, you wouldn't have been best friends.
and stop questioning yourself please!!! don't say things sound "pathetic" if that's not how you feel.

When I was little and did something bad, my parents used to beat me with a leather belt, however, they only did that when I did something bad (threw a tantrum, talked back rudely, wouldn't listen, etc). When I got these whippings, they hurt (a lot, like somebody slashing your butt numerous times with hot sharp knife).

In my parent's country, that was just the way you disciplined children who were bad. But they did it here, in the USA. (So I really believe they thought they were doing the right thing.)

Now, my last whipping was when I was 11 (I'm 17 now), but I was just wondering, was that abuse? And my parents are wonderful parents and I love them a lot, so don't tell me to report it or something.

Also, my brother never got that punishment,no matter what horrible thing he did, which makes me feel kind of like my parents don't like me as much.

well it depends on your parents beliefs. my mom is from russia and the first impression you get from that is "soviet and tough" but she never hit me because that wasn't her belief. i think that your parents were just brought up that way. plus america is very laid back and easy going and the punishments here are absolutely nothing. i mean if your mom slaps your hand for touching something that you shouldn't have been touching, you can file for child abuse and a big deal is made of nothing.

I am getting married soon, but there are still some issues bugging me that I thought my fiance and I had resolved.

- He smokes
I know this is a personal choice for him but it does affect me. If I really don't like it, shouldn't he at least try not to smoke in front of me? He only started doing this recently, before this he used to hide the fact that he smoked (cause he knows I hate it) and lie to my face when I would ask.
- He brings home his friends porn
He swears up and down that it's not his. Fine, but if you know I don't like it then don't bring it into our home. If it is your friends property then let your friend keep it, no?
- He has MOOD SWINGS like you would not believe. One minute he is all sweet and cuddly and the next he's scowling with a nasty attitude.
- He doesn't like to think about the future, aka he has no idea what he wants as a career (although he has a good job for the time being) and he doesn't even put thought into it.

I don't know what to do. These are things that seriously bother me. I've brought these issues to his attention and nothing changes, or it changes for a week or two then we're back to square one.

There is also stuff from the past and I try to let it go but then he shows me that he doesn't have the will to change.

I'm supposed to be getting married in 3 months! HELP.

well i wish i could help. i have to tell you now tho that what you see going on in ur relationship now is how it's gonna be in the future. if you're aren't ok with the future you might wanna consider what to do about this man.

also:
it's been said that people who don't know what they wanna do in life as a career usually don't tend to hold a job long because they get bored of it.
second... mood swings is not something you should be dealing with even before marriage.
third... if you've talked to him about this and he only lasted 1 or 2 weeks then you really need to figure out if you want to marry this guy

Sometimes my parents are telling me that I'm really really fat. It hurts my feelings, even though they say it in a joky way (but I know they mean it)
So I'm about 160cm..give or take.
And I weight 60kg...
And I'm 15.

So am I really that fat??

you are not fat. don't even think about it. plus everyone's body type is different and you may be either more muscular or have a larger chest. either way you are fine. don't worry. and if this whole thing with your parents is bothering you then you need to really talk to them and make them understand and i'm sure they will see that your feelings were hurt and they will stop.
