Hey I was just wondering what some good ways to find families to babysit for are. I want to babysit within my town though. I'll rate high!

Right, its good to start out in an area that you know. So if you have little kids' families in your neighboorhood that you know really well offer that you could babysit. If you dont know the families enough to say that then send out flyers and put them in mailboxes or on trees. Put information about you like your experience, age, contact information, & stuff like that.

Hey. Well, I'm 13/f, and I' African American. My hair is really dark brown, and thick too. I want to learn how to do a wrap at home, but I don't have a head dryer, just a portable one. Is there anyway to wrap my hair with a protable hair dryer. Also, how do you actually wrap your hair?
Also, if I get my hair wrapped on Saturday for school that's on Monday from the salon, how can I preserve it without putting another wrap in my hair?
Yea i have to wrap my hair too, but all you gotta do is kinda take your hair and pull it around your head. you can also use bobbypins and stuff it keep it down. then you take a bandana and tie it on your head. Sometimes i need my moms help because its hard to hold everything down.
to preserve your hair, just put it in a low ponytail with a bandana or cloth headband in at night. Put oil/creme on it also (vitapoint works best for me) and in the morning take it. (thats what i do sometimes because wrapping my hair takes forever).

if i drink a big sip of water and then go outside in the heat for about 5 minutes and go back and drink another sip..is that a way to not get dehydrated and sick and dizzy and stuff? thanks
Probably, but some people can stand the heat longer than others. If your going outside and you dont want to get dehydrated keep a water bottle or gaterade with you so whenever you get the slitest bit thirsty drink some so you wont get dehydrated!

How can I get guys to like me....Im 13 and have never had a boyfirend...is that like abnormall?
No its not abnormal. Plenty of girls havent had a boyfriend, first kiss, or anything like that and theres no rush to, you have plenty of time. But the sad thing is, there is really no way to make guys like you. This might sound kinda corny but all you have to do is be yourself and the right guy will come along. Its only true!

My dad cheated on my mom with her best friend..my paretns got divorced and my dad got marries to my moms best friend..i hate her for doind that...when i want to go places with my dad and my brother she always comes along..i know they are married but how do i tell her i want to be with my dad and brother..or how do i tell my dad?

Just tell your dad you'd like to talk. Then when you do just say "dad, can we just have 'us' time. Just hanging out with me and you and sometimes (your brothers name)." Most likely he'll say yes and that way you guys can just be together so you wont always have to be with your stepmom also.

i sometimes look at girls and think they are really pretty and fit. But i dont thik of going out with them i just think they are really nice and am really close to them. No probably not. If your still a kid/ teen then chances are your growing up still and you wouldnt really know about that stuff just yet. I read in this magazine, that since your still growing up its normal to look at girls and think they are nice looking, its just kinda normal. But basically what im trying to say is you really wouldnt know if your bisexual or not, its just something you realize on your own when your older.

Hi i got a letter in the mail (yeah mail lol) and its from People to People International. Its says im invite to travel and study in England Wales and Ireland (many places i would love to go). Well i called the place and they said i could Better Business Beau ( i guess thats haow its spelled) and they said the trip will cost around 2,600-5,200 depending if i do fundraisers or qualify for scholarships. Now heres my questions
1. Has anyone done this or anything else from the place/ company i guess you call it
2. is that a good price considering im in florida.?

Well I havent done it but I know people who have done it: my cousins and this girl from my camp. But from those people I heard it was really fun and they made a lot of friends. Also, I guess the pricing is OK considering its fun and you learn all about the place your in. its a really great oppurtunity!

Its discharge, and its normal, it just means your growing up and your healthy. it also might mean that your period is coming soon so dont be shocked.

Im into theater and all that stuff but im NOT GAY!!! i also dance for some of the shows. why do people think im gay??? GRRR it makes me so mad!!!! Why do ppl generalize like that?
People just generalize like that because they were either brought up like that or they have nothing else better to do. In my old dance class, there were boys in it. Theres really no problem with it boys can do anything that girls can do. And vise versa. If people talk about it to you then just ignore them, dont even stay anything back. They arent worth it!

Wear something that expresses you since the picture is all about you & your year. Dont focus on it too much because you barely see your whole outfit so just wear a shirt that "you", whatever that may be!

Hey advicenators!! I need help on motivation:
well over the summer we need to read two books and do a book report on one of them. My school starts the 29 of aug. and i still havnt started either of my books. Im usually really good with this stuff and get it done before the first month of summer. But this year i just cant find motivation cuz the books suck and are boring. I dont want to have a bad fist impression on my teachers and not have it all done by the first week of school!! What do you suggest?? what can i do to motivate myself?
To keep you motivated, just keep thinking that theres really no way out of it. You just have to conquer it. I mean, if you dont do it, then you'll get a bad great, and just think you dont want to start out like that. Also, after each book you read, you can give yourself a little reward. Buy yourself something sweet, go shopping, or just have a day with no reading--just relaxing .

see i've had my peroid 4 a year now.. i mean its ok... you know i dont like it but its growing up.. so i cant change it. anyways im still using pads.. i dont want 2 use tampons and ive tried but i dont feel safe... i just read an like article about this grl getting a desiese from having her tampon in 2 long! Yea, i guess its not bad to not use them. I`m sure plenty of people feel the same way you do. But maybe you should try. You never know what its going to be like unless you try. It might seem scary but theres not other way of figuring it out because it might be painful to one person but not to another. It might be uncomfortable at first, but thats the same with every new thing to you. Just if you do decide to try it get all the information you need to know exactly what your suppose to do and when to do it so nothing goes wrong. But I just think you should give it a try. If it doesnt work for you, use pads. If it does thats great!

Well do you like him? If you do, then you should because all that other stuff shouldnt matter. But if you dont, then just keep it at friends. My older brother is living with us now. Im the youngest one of the family so i still live at home. Any way. Me and my dad use to go places all the time together, like, he use to take me shopping at the mall take me golfing with him and do fun junk like that. Now all he wants to do is shove me off into a corner while he takes donnie golfing, and everything else he use to do with me and my brother treats me like crap!!!! I am getting sick of being left out!! How Should i deal with it?????
Aw, well I doubt he's "shoving you into a corner" it just probably feels like it. Well just so you know, your dad probably wants to spend more time with your brother because he probably hasnt seen him in awhile. Theres no harm in that, just try to share your Dad with your brother. In the meantime, you can talk to your dad and tell him how you feel and ask him if there is any way you guys could have a time in the day reserved to just you guys. Also, you can even try to hang out with your brother and your dad because you havent seen your brother either!
