ok so im a 17 year old female. I got my period bk in grade 9 and im going into grade 12. Well for the past couple of days my boobs are really sore. I dont know why, cause when i touch them they just feel really sore and the tissue around my boob is sore to touch to. It like right around my boob at the base where its hurts and the sides of my breasts. Any one know why this is? i think it could be cause they are growing, but im not sure. Any advice or answers would help me out alot. Does this mean i have cancer or something? im paranoid so tons of things are going through my mind. Thank you so much! Really appreicate it! (link)

So i really need a new pair of shoes to start off my senior year. I want to go for something comfortable, but I also want something that looks a little more grown up to match my wardrobe. My style is pretty girly, but I'm too tall for heels and I have enough flats and sandals. I'm just looking for a simple and versatile, but really cute everyday shoe. Thanks so much! :)♥ (link)

Is there a height limit at your school? Thats the only reason I can imagine for being too tall for heels. If you like them and are comfortable, go for it! (Personally, I find them way too painful and stopped wearing them decades ago.) Any guy who is put off because you are tall or taller, is not worthy of you.
Personally, flats or heels, I'm a sucker for plaid shoes.

I got this problem I work 2 jobs I put in 60hr a week with both jobs and I am mentaly and physacaly tierd all I want to do is sleep I have to force myself to get out of bed just to get motivated is a chore everything that I liked to do is no intrest to me I know there's something wrong but I don't think its depresion I think I'm just over worked iv been working 2 jobs for over three years I don't get vacations I don't get any benifets and what I make pays my bills I don't have anything out of the ordinary just basic stuf an apartment a car and that's it the 2 jobs I have are minimum wage jobs .sure I bet a lot of people woul love to have 2 jobs bescaused some people can't get one job because nobody is hiering the way the economy is right now but its hard for me to work like this I can't aford to let one job go so what do I do any sugestions (link)

60 hours a week will do that to 'ya. Especially at minimum wage jobs.
Is there any room to move up at either job?
Is it possible to get a paying roommate to help trim living expenses?
Could you live less expensivly? (Cheaper apartment, make-at-home food, second hand clothes, keep the apt. warmer in summer, cooler in winter, change car insurance?)
Could you do the same or a similar job at another place that offers benifits? (Starbucks offers benifits where hardly any other coffee shops do.)
Do you have good resume already prepared, so that if an opportunity comes up you are ready to act?
Is there any free education available where you live? There are some schools, like a ship uilding school in Baltimore, that pay you for work as you learn.

Don't sweat the "premenent record" stuff. The school was more concerned about a high school student showing up at middle school even thoough it happens all they time. A lot of that interaction is guys looking for younger girls they can take advaantage of.
A quick hug is not out of line, but making out or lingering all over each other is not appropriate. Think of schoool as your job - what behavior is appropriate for on-the-job? (Note, what passes for professional dress and behavior for women on-the-job in TV shows, is a far cry from reality!)

18/f my best friend Nikki is really getting on my nerves. So I used to have this boyfriend who I was like in love with, chase. Chase and I were very close and dated for three years. Nikki and I were not friends when chase and I were together. Nikki has never met chase. But for some reason Nikki always has these stories to tell me about chase. And I've told her I don't care what chase is doing. but she always brings him up. I went to a really big high school. A lot of people don't know eachother. So I know she is bringing him up to people. And people I am friends with at other schools, she's told people she is friends with them. She ha never met my friends from other schools. I don't know why she doe this but I get really upset when she does. And I tell her I don't care to hear it. Being on the sidlines of a romance can be very exciting. Part of it is sharing in your happiness. Part is just her being courious. Partly it's being involved by having a front row seat. Part of her is also thinking "If my friend can have a romance, so could I." so your love life is a great encourager to her.
I fully understand why this has become annoying to you.
As best as you can, don't react at all to her stories about Chase, but do react as positivly as you can to her, ask her questions and be interested id her for herself.
You are also well within your rights to gently say to her, "NIkki, this break up with Chase has been very hard for me and I think the best way for me to get one is to stop thinking about him and talkiing about him. Can you help me do that buy no longer bringing him up?"
She will almost certainly say yes, and then, should it contnue, you are in a position to say "Remember you agreed to help me get over him."

Okay so i am an average teenage girl! And i like this guy alot but it's like he don't. I want to tell him so badd that i like him but i am on the shy side. I dont like getting rejected because i feel as if there saying i aint good enough or ugly. How can you tell if a guy likes you?
He listens to you. And he remembers what you say. HHe makes eye contact.
Guys are often good at talking about themselves, which shows that they are comfortable, but when the want to know your opinion, and they make an effort to draw you out and get to know you and not just use you as a sounding board, that is a big indicator of their interest.
If there isn't any of that, do not tell him you like him.

i have small warts under the skin on my middle fingers on both hands... i have a few questions if anyone can help...
I have been using bazuka and when i take it off every day it peels my skin off too. is this right and how do i know when its gone?
also my boyfriend is very weary of touching me now, when i have the bazuka on is it still contagious? and how at risk is he of catching them anyway?

I'm not sure what bazuka is...
But I do know that warts are caused by a virus within your body. Warts can be spread from one person to another by direct contact or touching something a person with warts has previously touched. Transfer is more likely if someone has cuts or openings in the skin, but transfer may never happen.
Check with your doctor about what kinds of warts you have and how best to remove them. Removed warts may also come back... same place or different places. I had a couple on my hands and fingers, and after several tries at removing, I ended up one the bottom of my toe, and much less bothersome place to have one, so I just let it stay there.

There is no way of knowing. The size of boobs you will eventually have has already be predetermined by your genetic make-up. So has the timing - some girls get 'em early and some wait, but it is not tied to our periods.
It's a pretty safe bet that since you are 13, your boobies are still going to grow. You might get a hint by looking at the women in your family, big or small, late or early... But if your famiily has had a wide range of experiences, there's no way to know.
Everyone's grow and look a bit differetly, and that's quite normal.

I am planning my nephew's sweet sixteen party in a couple weeks. It's going to be a New Orleans Saints theme. My question is: Are 16 year olds too old for goodie bags and if not any suggestions about what should be in them? (I was thinking fleur-de-lis earrings for the girls and black cord fleur-de-lis chains for the boys, but I have no clue what else to put in them.) And do boys call it sweet sixteen or is that just for girls? What about party games??? Please help. (link)

Usually the lable of sweet 16 is reserved for girls only, and least in my part of the country.
Was once at a weddding, and while people were waiting at the reception for the bride and groom to arrive, each table received a bag of children's toys and game that people could participate in doing - a Mad Libs pad, soldiers with parachutes, paddles with red rubber balls attached, corny riddle books, magic tricks, glow in the dark necklaces (if at night) - this for a guest list of young adults (mostly) and family friends. What a blast! Most of it came from dollar stores.
If it's a more casual event, you might put out big baskets, like bread baskets, only they are filled with filled water pistols. Don't announce or explain - just let it happen.

Okay, so i am your typical teenager gilr. I am going to the 8th grade, well alot of my friends have made out and sent some pictures to there boyfriends well i dont really know if i am ready for that. I am the far behind one because i cant talk to my mom about kissing or anything she will spaz out. But is this a bad thing that i dont know how to make out.? I just dont understand the point in it. If you are uncomfortable with this, and it sure sounds like you are, don't.
There is nothing as painful as having caved and done something you really didn't want to do in the first place and regreting in, and in most cases, having lots of other people be told some version of the events, that may or may not be true, by the guy.
Anyone who is making fun of you for not making out is not your friend - friends support and encourage one another, not belittle each other.
Kissing guys should wait until you know a guy well and really like him and feel respected by him - it's an act that should be an extention of our emotions and care of someone else, not something you have to hurry to cross out on your "Becoming an Adult" check list.
Typical teenager going into 8th grade? Perfectly normal not to have "made out" with anyone. Your acquaintences are rushing things, and, if your school is normal, many of them are lying about what they have and have not done. Guys, too.
Wait till you are ready and a very special someone is there.

It seems obvious that this woman has serious problems and she is majorly acting out. She needs serious help, but I doubt if she waants it. SHe is probably as big a risk to others and her students as to herself.

Check bridal stores for off-season sales (buy a spring dress in winter).
Check with second hand clothing stores. Formal wear doesn't get much wear, so 2nd or 3rd hand items still look great. Look especially in second hand shops in weallthy communities. wealthy community rummage sales.
Look in the paper and craig's list. A lot of people re-sell. Be cautious, a lot of them want way too much.
My daughter went to 5 formals in her life, and in total, her gowns costs $350. That was all several years ago, but, if anything, things cost less these days.
Anyway you can earn a little money on your own to add to the total?

My boyfriend and I are going to Cedar Point in a bout a week. We are going to try and get through the park in one day. I believe the hours are 10 am to 10 pm, (we're going on a Monday), and I was wondering if anyone had any good tips on things like how to make sure you get through all the rides/which rides to go on first/any rides that arent worth the wait, and even stuff like good places to eat. Due to outsoursing, a friend was let go, after 12 years of service, in March 2010. She was asked to stay an additional 3 months - June 2010, but declined. She received her severance package. Recently, she found out, that 2 temp were still there and performing her duties, which were not outsourced. Was she let go unfairly and what can or should she do? (link)

It wouldn't hurt to have a brief conversation with an employment attorney (most will do so for free)The laws vary from state to state.
Employment laws in all states greatly favor the employers, so she shouldn't be too hopeful.

Get an appoint with your doctor to discuss the possibility that you could be depressed. If he or she thinks so, ask for a referral to a psychiatrist. There are so many new drugs out there today, you really need a specialist.
Please do it. Your life can really improve.

My mom came to a school dance of mine that happened a few weeks ago. I was having fun on the dance floor and I do admit to grinding with a couple of guys and my best friend (who is a girl). My mom saw this though and was really mad at me when we left. It's like she can't stop talking about it and she keeps going on and on about it not being "acceptable" for school dances. She is considering talking to the principal about it and that is totally going to ruin my reputation and I KNOW I'm going to be made fun of because of my mom. EVERYBODY I know grinds. I am just wondering what other people think about grinding at school dances. (link)
