Homecomnig is only semi formal, so you probably wont even need the entire 75!

Great places to look would be : Macys, Marshalls, Forever 21, Nordstorms, Urban Behavior, JC Penny, Khols...

Or order something online, the perfect websit for you would be this one : [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
Ignore the fact that it says Promgirl, just go and at least browse. Definatly go to the category of homecoming dress, then click under 100. There are many adorable dresses under $75!

Happy Hunting!

I don't know where you are, but where I went to school homecoming wasn't all that formal of an event - either semi-formal or casual, depending on the year. If it's semi formal, try looking at a Macy's store - they usually have a rack or two of semi-formal/cocktail dresses that are on clearance for very low prices. Try their website too, they're having a sale at the moment.

I also second the idea of craigslist! They have some pretty good stuff that cycles through!

Just look around a lot love; you don't need to spend a million bucks to look like it. :)

Check ebay. I know they may be second hand but they will meet your budget and you will probably find a really nice dress, you can also get new dresses on ebay so its worth checking.

Hope this helps and I hope you have a really nice time at homecoming. I wish we had homecomings in England x

Check bridal stores for off-season sales (buy a spring dress in winter).

Check with second hand clothing stores. Formal wear doesn't get much wear, so 2nd or 3rd hand items still look great. Look especially in second hand shops in weallthy communities. wealthy community rummage sales.

Look in the paper and craig's list. A lot of people re-sell. Be cautious, a lot of them want way too much.

My daughter went to 5 formals in her life, and in total, her gowns costs $350. That was all several years ago, but, if anything, things cost less these days.

Anyway you can earn a little money on your own to add to the total?

Good luck!
