Cedar Point

Question Posted Wednesday August 4 2010, 7:19 pm

My boyfriend and I are going to Cedar Point in a bout a week. We are going to try and get through the park in one day. I believe the hours are 10 am to 10 pm, (we're going on a Monday), and I was wondering if anyone had any good tips on things like how to make sure you get through all the rides/which rides to go on first/any rides that arent worth the wait, and even stuff like good places to eat. Thanks!!

I'm there all the time. It's so much fun. I'd just start from the back entrance. (by the water park) if your a dare devil two
must rides are dragster, millenium, magnum. All
near the front. Some medium fun rides are Gemini, blue streak, cork screw(jerks you around a lot though), mean streak, there is one in the way back that is inside a building and it's all dark, pretty fun. The big green one by the blue stream is ok, I didn't realy like that one, but you might see it and like that kind. Don't go on the mine ride, it breaks down ALOT. Really annoying, got stuck on it once was on it for an hour and a half. Oh the wild cat breaks down a lot, so I'd skip that one.but the one across from it is a great starter ride. The food is really pricy, but there is a chik fil a towards the back that is reasonable. If you need a break from walking around take a train ride or boat ride, both are free I believe and give you a great tour of the park. Also the cars on the
lines are nice too. Hmm I can't really think of s
anything else to mention. Have fun!

Check out www.experiencethepoint.com

It calls itself "the unofficial guide".

I haven't been there for years, so I'm a bad source of information, but at the risk of sounding like a Mom:

sunblock! reapply
comfortable shoes!
drink lots of water!
Have the time of your life!
