My step dad works for NCR and the head quarters are moving to Georgia. If he doesn't find a job by the end of September then there is a very high possibility that I might have to move there. My parents are divorced and I really want to keep my family in the same state. I love my dad, step mom and step sister. My mom has main cutsody of me. I don't want to be far from my other family if we do move. How do I handle this?

Honestly, there's probably not much you can do. The economy is terrible, so I'm sure if your dad can't find a job, he'll be moving so he can have one, but since you're still 14 you don't have much say in the matter. I doubt your dad really wants to move away, but he probably doesn't want to be jobless, either. Just keep in touch with him over the phone and hopefully he'll be able to continue with his regular visits with you.

Most tests, even the cheap ones, claim to be over 99% accurate, so there's no need to pay a fortune for one. However, there are some tests that can give you results a lot sooner than others, and there is one that tells you flat out if you're expecting or not, instead of having those little colored lines. But if you want really accurate results, go to a doctor and have them do a test.

Try web rings, listing sites, link exchanges with other sites. Find forums similar to yours, and see if they have a "self promotion" section where you can advertise your forum. You can also find sites that offer to advertise or post your link on web searches if you add their code into your forum. Try plugboards, too. There are lots of more ways, try googling "web site promotion" for more ideas.

Great. Just great! I needed relief from allergies so I heard about Zicam, and now just imagine what it is like to have had more than one doctor tell you that you don't really have a loss of smell, that your sense of smell and sense of taste isn't damaged or lost at all, but that it is in your head!
So you go to a shrink and of course you know that nobody is ever kicked out of a psychologist's office for being "healthy," so you go there for a year, which is making you feel pointless as a human because nothing works and you can't smell anything... worst of all you can't TASTE anything. :( Then you start hearing all about zicam side effects. About this time you find out that you have no business at a shrink. No business at all because they are YOUR identical zicam side effects!
Ok enough complaining and feeling sorry for myself, so here is the question: Should I get involved in the Zicam class action lawsuit? Do these things ever work out?
Is there anything that can be done to restore my sense of smell? Can the effects of Zicam be reversed? Is there any cure for any kind of loss of senses like the losses that have been experienced here: Loss of sense of smell and a complete and total loss of the sense of taste.

I'm so sorry you're going through this. You should try another doctor, one that doesn't doubt your symptoms, and I would look into filing a lawsuit if I were you, simply for your pain & suffering you went through after dealing with no one believing you, also for your medical & shrink bills. I'm sure you could look into the lawsuit online for more info, or call a lawyer & see what advice they can give you.

Etsy is a great place to sell your items. It specializes in handmade crafts & items. Basically you have your own little e-shop on their site to sell your items.
As for being able to make sales, it doesn't matter what site you sell them on, you need to focus on promoting your items. On Etsy, you can buy a space to have your item featured for like a day (I think), so more people will see the item. You can also post links to your Etsy page on other sites & forums, usually craft sites, or even sites that allow "self promotion" posts.
And for the name, it's a great idea to do something a little catchy, but in the end, it's your items that should matter most, not the site name, so just pick something you like & that you probably won't want to change sometime down the road.
FOLLOW UP: Just wanted to let you know that etsy does charge 20 cents to advertise an item for four months. When you sell an item, they charge a 3.5 transaction fee, but you only pay your bill once a month. You can find out more here: http://www.etsy.com/fees.php

Has anyone here worked at best buy before? I have an interview with best buy on monday and I would really like to know what to expect and what the questions will be like

I've never worked at Best Buy, but I've worked at Wal-Mart, & know people who have worked at best buy and say that the questions are similar.
Usually, they'll ask you questions like "why do you want to work here? Describe a time when you had to deal with someone who wasn't a good team player and what did you do to solve the problem? What would you do if you saw someone stealing". Of course, these are just some example questions, but they just give you an idea of the sort of questions you might be asked. Also, I've heard of a lot of Sales Associates there that were asked to "Sell an item" to the interviewer, which is basically showing them your sales skills.

I noticed today that I have what looks like a rash in my belly button. It hurts a bit, especially when touch. It looks like it has white liquid coming out of it when I sqeezed my belly to look at the red rash type blemish in my belly button.
I'm not sure if it is an allergic reaction to something or what it is or if it might need to be checked out.

You probably need to go to a doctor. It could be a number of things. And it might not be anything serious, but it would probably be best to have it checked out anyway, just in case.

I put it on last night, it fits, however it does not do up. Obviously my bust got a bit bigger or I just got back fat..hehe!!

If I was to cut out all junk food and exercise for at least a half hour every day for two weeks.. do you think I'd be able to fit into my dress??

There's really no way of knowing whether you'll be able to loose enough weight or not, plus you could end up loosing it all in your stomach when the problem could be in your bust, which would still be sort of a problem.

I don't think you'll like my answer, but I really don't think it's a good idea to try to make him fall in love with you again. It could work for the time being, but chances are sometime down the road all of his doubts about your relationship will just come flooding back. Not only that, but your attempt could fail miserably & he could see you as desperate or obsessive.
You deserve a lot better. You shouldn't have to make someone fall back in love with you.

Like I stated, this is going to be terribly long.
I was introduced to a guy, who we're going to call "Derek" on Valentines Day, this year. Later that night he added me on Myspace. From there, we basically started 'talking'. It started off simple, cute and flirty, then after a month or so it got more serious. He came over to my house one day, and we spent literally six hours together. And of course, within those six hours we hooked up.
Everything was going fine, until about a month later when I screwed everything up, according to him. We were at a park, and it was brisk and windy. I was wearing shorts and a tank top. I asked him if he wanted to go back to my house (I lived 2 minutes from the park) and let me change into jeans, but he said no. And after about 15 minutese of arguing, I walked away from him to go home. We pretty much stopped talking after this. He got back with his ex, and I started dating this guy named Caden after about three weeks of not talking to eachother. When Caden and I broke up a week later, I got a phone call from a number I didn't know. It was derek. So basically he drove down to my house, picked me up and we hooked up. That was on saturday. The following monday he got back with his ex, again. I asked him why, and he just looked at me and shrugged. So we've begun "talking" again, even though he has a girlfriend. He claims he wants me, and that I'm better, and that I'm his dream girl. He always says how he's going to do stuff to me, and how we're going to make it..
But he won't tell me why he's with her. Once he told me that she gives him money, but that was never brought up again. And its not sex, so I'm a little frusturated.
Recently, I told him to get his things straight, and until then not to talk to me, or call.
He's called, and left messages, but I don't read them or listen, I just deleted them.
A few days ago I finally answered the phone when he called, and we talked for a little. I was just messing around, naming random facts about my life, and then he said "I don't care about your life" so I got mad & hung up, then called him back and told him I was officially done with him. He said "okay. Wow" and hung up. Then he deleted me off myspace. But at school he stares at me when I walk by, and always looks at me. (I ignore him)
I don't really know what to do, because I do really like him, and I'm just not sure what to do.

You deserve a lot better than him. He doesn't sound like he's even mature enough for a serious relationship. Plus, if you two did start dating again, he could start talking to other girls like he talked to you when he was dating the other girl. As hard as it may be, it's probably best to just not have anything to do with him.

I have a few questions about the Department of social services and emancipation. I have a case at home where basiclly I'm being neglected by my parents. Their making me pay rent (350) monthly and I can't do laundry or shower in my own home without paying rent. They refuse to care for my needs and basiclly ignore me. I'm forced to give them half my check earnings. I'm basiclly responsible for my own self at age 16 and it shouldn't be like this. I have a place to go live at but I want to be emancipated from my parents. And I'm wondering if DSS gets involved will they allow me to pick where I live or will I be taken into foster care homes? Also there is a second minor living in this house my sister aged 8 but she isn't getting neglected by them will DSS get involved with her too ? Please I would much rather advice from an adult with good answers.
Usually, if you can prove that you can take care of yourself & have a place to live, they won't get anyone involved, but you have to explain to them why you think you should be emancipated, & they have to think that you're capable of living like an adult. I don't think they'll do anything to your sister if they don't have a reason to think she's being abused or neglected.

You need to probably bring in a letter that was sent to you at your home address. You can't use a PO box, which is a mailbox at a post office, if you have one.

It depends on your pain tolerance. What hurts really bad to some people may be nothing to another person. Naturally, having a needle shoved through your skin isn't the best feeling in the world, but it's probably not that bad. Although I don't have mine pierced, I've gotten tons of other piercings & if anything it may sting for just a second, then it's over. So, if you really want the piercing then it'll all be worth it.

It depends on how much his feelings have changed. If he still has feelings for you in that way, there's probably a chance that he could end up falling for you again. If he is completely sure that he just wants to be friends, though, it might be a good idea to not do anything too romantic, or it could make him uncomfortable. In my experience, the best thing you can do, especially if you two will be alone together, is to just act like he's just a friend to you. Act like you have no feelings toward him other than in a friendly way. It could make him miss the way things used to be.

It all happend, one Monday night aroud 10:30pm. I had a call from a guy who is just a friend to me. When the call came I realised that I have mistakely changed the name to female. So when I recieved the call and heard it was a male voice I was shocked, and did't no what to do at that time since it was late and I did't what us to have any problem. I answered the call by saying Hellow stweatheart, since that is the way I recieve my calls from any one that call me and moreover too didn't want to him to suspect anything. After speaking to this guy, my boyfriend ask, was it a man that called me and I told him it was a girl friend of mine. Since the person's name on the phone is female. So this guy called again in two minute again and my guy picked the call since the phone was with him. He gave the phone to me after realising that I have told him a lie since the voice was a male voice.
He told me he didn't want to have anything to do with me again that am cheater, lier, he is dissapointed in me and he don't want to see me again. And later concluded that he has broke up with me.

You have to realize that he's probably really hurt that you lied to him. You can apologize for lying & try to convince him that you weren't cheating & it was just a friend, but if he really wants to break up, there's not much you can do. Yeah, it'll be hard to get over him, but you will. Just take some time to be single & have fun & you'll move on eventually.

I'd go to the principal. If you can remember them, put together a list of the sites you used as references that she claimed didn't exist. That way you can show the principal that they do exist. If you have any of your papers from her class, bring them with you. You'll need all the proof you can get.
