Here in the past 2 months one of my friends mother died. And as you know. Sunday was mothers day. and it was just so bad. and she kept wanting to talk to me about it. and i wanted to talk to her about it. but i didn't know what to say! And she still talks about it every day. and she carries her mom's picture around. and i think this is just making it worse. but i want to talk to her about her mother. and i want to be able to comfort her. but i don't know what to do or say. I've told her that any time she needs a mother figure. that my mom is always avalible. but she just says it's not the same. and i somewhat understand. but i just don't know what to do. any suggestions?

I can see how she feels. I have a few friends who have lost one parent in the past few years, try having another one of your friends who had lost a death of a parents. Not that your not good enough, your are doing great telling her your mom is always there for her, which mean not only is your mom there for her but as a friend you are there as well. She should try tlaking to another person who has lost a parent in death like I stated before. That way when she has someone to talk she knows that, that person knows exactly what she is going threw and all..and she knows how she feels when she lost a parent.
I am not sure if you got what I was saying, I got myself confused when I was re-reading it. But I figure you probably know what I am saying.

I'm 15/f, and I want a job. I can't really get a job right now because I'm only 15 and most places hire when you're 16. I don't turn 16 until August, but I wanted to go ahead and get one so I can have money to go towards getting a car and other stuff. Well when my sister was 15 she was hired at Baskin Robin's (you know the ice cream place) and she was almost 16 at the time, I think it was a month or 2 before her 16th bday. I also know 3 ppl who are 14 or already 15 and they work at McDonald's. Look around and see what you could do.

me and my guy friend had sex, ive never had before.. and i really didnt want to but i did it anyways.. he first was going in pretty fast.. and would go in n` out fast too.. ive been like super sore.. down ya.. and this morning i had blood on my panties.. does that mean he popped my cherry, and im pretty sure didnt go alll the way in & he used a condom, do you think im safe from being pregnant? and is it normal to still be sore the day afterwards ?

One of my friends has tried to comitte suicide twice before and i am afraid she will do it again it terifies me what should i do.

Talk to her, convince her that she needs help like is said below.. I was in this sorta situation before as well just my friend was cutting not trying to comit sucide. Talk to her...tell her much she means to you and that she will kill a lot of people emotionally and possiably physically as well if she does kill herself. List manyt reasons why she is such a great friends and all the great things that can happen in her life if she got help.

Tomorrow, I'm taking an AP test and all year long, I haven't paid any attention..so now I have to cram and review the whole book..It's so hard to stay concentrated because the subject is so boring..(Human Geography) I need tips on how to stay focused and the best way to study..pleaseeee! I'm in 9th grade and if I pass this test, I won't have to take it in college...any advice is greatly appriciated!

Oh, most of my friends have to do that..World History and English Honors, and I heard if you pass or w/e it takes a year off from college or something. We are also in 9th grade. I say with the whats below me. Go threw Vocab words, or review dates and name..the normal stuff you would study for a test, call up a friend and quiz each other and help study.

I'm in 8th grade and we need 4 points in each class.An A=4 points...B=3..and so on.at the beggining of the year in algebra, I got a B then a C..that's 5 points but then I had a D and for progress reports I got an F.Is it 4 points per year or semester?Do I have enough points to go to 9th grade?

I don't get what your saying..but my school we have it similar we have A= 4 B= 3 C= 2 D=1 F=0 like you do..add up the quarter graders by pluggin in the numbers then divide it by the classes..and you get your GPA. Then you get a number after that bc of the extra credit on the test. So I suggest ask your teacher what your final grade of the year would be. I know in my school if you fail math they put you in a intro course 9th grade so you don't fail the 9th grade course, that is only if you really suck at math. So ask your teacher, maybe they can get you extra help or suggest some ways to bring your grade up. Sorry it wasn't much help.

hey.. i have a VERRRY bad situation. My mom and dad are getting a divorce and i dont know what to do! Is it my fault? What can i do (if possible) to get them back together? i love my mom and my dad but when they yell and scream its hard for me to love either one of them.... plz plz plz help!! Everytime i think about it it makes me cry!!

OMG I am soo sorry..my parents almost got a divorce back in January, so I know what your going threw. I know when its hard when they fight, because it make you think that you are causing the problem and does make you cry. Then when they actually do get the divorce you have no clue who to live with. So yes I know exactly with. Sit down with both of them and talk to them about how you feel and all..if they love you then they would say they are sorry for putting you threw this or try to stop the fighting. I don't know what my dad said but he said something to my mom and she forgave him..yet they still do fight so just hang in there..and tell them how you feel.

Does anyone have any tips for swallowing pills? I have some pills from my doctor for a bronchidal infection, and they were huge, I had to cut them up into fourths, yet they still are tough to get down. Tips or tricks?

Pudding..stick them in and then close ur eyes..and take a mouth full and just sallow!..I my mom used to do that to me..when I had to take pills, it would be so hard for me to take them...so she would put them in puttin n hid it and once I took the pill..she would give me the rest to eat by myself..I think it should be banned to make pills so huge..I hate when I get big pills, I hate the gaging and sallowing really fast..its all yucky!! Hope I helped.

Well I'm an A-cup and it's really hard for my to find good, ok-priced bras..Victoria's Secret is cool but it's too expensive! But anyway, where can I buy a bra that I can wear with tank tops...don't say strapless because they'll fall right off of me! Wal*Mart as good ones...but anyways, I have the same prob the strapless fall right off..its annoying to wear under a tank top but anyways..try the clear straps..they come seprately (sp?) and most of the times u can take the straps off of Bra's and replace them with the clear no show straps..Hoped I helped

why is april 20th national pot day? kids got arrested at my school today and they had drug searches in the parking lot. i didn't know it was a "holiday" though until this past monday...what's so signifigant about the date? why is this national pot day? thanks!

My parents fight a lot and my best friend keeps telling me that they're going to get divorced, and it really hurts my feelings. I don't think that they are going to get divorced because I know how they act around each other, but it just hurts my feelings when my friend says that. What should I do?

I kinda agree with mylinhthan. What kind of friend...now BEST friend does that?! What kinda friend says that to you? From my point I would have told her off, she has no right to say that...if she is over your house 24/7 then maybe yeah...but if she isn't she shouldn't be saying that. My parents almost got a divorce and I told my BFF who is like family and I have been BFF's with her for 7 year and she was almost as upset and pissed off then I was. Confront to her on what she should say and what she shouldn't, BFF's are suppose to support each other on problems not make the problem worst!!

Anyways, go to a teacher or something. Just don't kill yourself!! It really isn't worth it just because of 10 @$$es at your school, think of the people who are around you and care about you 24/7. Think of how much pain you'll put them threw if you kill yourself. Your just making your love ones life hell if you kill yourself because you'll be gone forever. Mostly parents and relatives, they most likely can't get over having a death of a child. Remember Children are suppose to buried the parents. Not the parents buried the children.
