My name is Devin Lindsey or Vinny as my sister calls me! I am 17 years old and go to Bethel Park High school. I loooove swimming along with dancing, singing, and playing softball. I also run varsity track with is alright i supose too.My favorite colors are orange, pink, and blue. I love to be crazy and have a good time
I've had a job working for 15+ monthes so I can answer alot about that
and I know alot about relationships in general so I can be helpful with that sometimes
especially with parent child relationships
I am a very observant person and tend to know more and care about more than most my age
and I really believe in volunteering to help animals especially at shelters. Usually its not their fault that they have to live their and its usually horrible cercimstances that bring them there and I feel terrible that they can't speak for themselves and people are too caught up in spending like $500 on this cute little pure breed puppy from a breeder just into getting rich instead of giving one of these dogs another chance at life (there are usually a handful of dogs under a year old so the i want a puppy excuse doesn't work with me)
My baby is named Lainey Mae... we got her from a shelter about 2 hours away from us when she was 7 weeks old. she is now 2 years old and the center of our family. unfortunately someone was cruel enough to go down and drug up and shoot (but luckly not kill) most of the dogs plus rob the owner (just like someone did at the shelter where I volunteer) and its now shut down

Much of this is an opinion question, so anybody and everybody feel free to answer, please. You don't need to know much about frogs, at all.
I am now the proud owner of two frogs. One African Clawed Frog. One African Dwarf Frog. Water frogs; not to be handled. I have determined that they are not to be put together, due to the potentially harmful claws one of them has. Right now they are each in their own aquarium. Problem is, I only have room for one aquarium, and I do not want to give the other frog up.
--What I am wondering is, if it would be alright to put them in the same aquarium WITH a thick piece of plastic separating them. I would make sure that the plastic is stuck in place and can not be moved, so the change of them getting to one another would be virtually impossible. Space would not be a problem for either of them. They would each have plenty of room.
(Here is where anybody can help:)
IF I do separate them with a thick piece of plastic, should it be clear plastic or colored? Do you think it would distress them if it were clear? Do you think they would feel like it's a whole new world infront of them that they can't explore? Or do you think it would be a GOOD idea, because they could almost have a playmate?
I guess the way for me to find out would be to obtain clear plastic and see if the clawed one attacks the glass, but even if he doesn't... will that stress either of them out? Does anybody have any clue, thoughts, opinions. I'll appreciate anything!!
it sounds good but i would not get it clear because they could see each other and start to fight and whatnot even though they can't get to each other they see eachother and the weaker one may hide and eventually die in fear. I would get a thick piece of like black plastic to prevent anything from happening
alright, now whenever i was younger, my mom used to tell me about these earrings she used to have before they got the earring piercing gun thing, and what they would do is they'd put them in their ear and slowly, everyday, they'd go closer and closer and finally whenever you heard it click, that meant it had finally gone through your ear. now, i had a bad experience with earrings before i almost had to get surgery and everything, and i remember my left ear hurting like CRAZY, so im really freaked out about getting a gun shot through my ear again. and i've tried putting "self-piercing earrings" on google, and it comes up self-piercing KITS. so does anybody know if they still sell them anywhere or anything or if anyone finds it on google, can you tell me? helpppp.?!
well the gun is the most painless way to go. With guns today you cant even feel it happened except for the little sting that is only there for a second after it is done. Those one your mom had would be much more painful and carry a greater risk of infection (thats prob why you can't find them). But if you really want one that bad i would check ebay. just make sure yuo sanitize everything with alcohol
Last year I got a Video iPod for Christmas. I picked it out I just got it at Christmas time. I am now relising that I don't like it because of its size. Its HUGE! I thought it would be cool to download shows and movies and songs of course, but I just think it is too big. I want to tell my parents that I want a nano but I feel bad that it cost them almost $300 (it was on sale). Is there anywhere I can mabe sell it for the same price and get enough money or just live with the size and use it. thanks!

your best bet would be ebay or your local newspaper. You may not get the full price back but you should be able to get enough to buy a nano ($200). Also if you go to the apple store you can try to have them trade it in for an equal trade (because its not brand new they prob wont give you your full amount.)

Alot of my friends and I really want to know what people think would be too young for oral sex not all the way just oral but yea it's still pretty bad i guess it's just there are so many girls at my highschool even lots of freshmen that have been involved with this kind of activity at almost every party we've been too i hate to say there sluts cause that would mean almost our whole school are sluts. Just guesstimating we would say that at least 75% freshmen girls are sexually involved

not really. I believe nationally its like 75% of girls lose their virginity by the time the are 18.
The real thing is though is how you are. If they are being sluts that is their future not yours. Make sure YOU make the right decision and do what you think is right.
Although i think any kind of sex at that age is wrong oral is better then intercourse and if it keeps them from going all the way then i approve

i have thin hair and it is very dryed out but i dont want to get it cut alot shorter so does anyone know anything that help dryed/split hair?
there isn't much you can do about split ends.. they have to be cut off
but you can dry using deepconditioners and oil treatments. They really helped my hair. You can buy that stuff at your local grocery store
also i have her sunsilk is a good shampoo for that. I saw someone say pantene and i have acually heard alot of bad things about their shampoo and i use it sometimes and i don't see results.
To keep my hair looking nice i rotate shampoos and conditioners. I have a different brand for like every day of the week. Also get leave in coditioner. Its good stuff. and avoid blow dryers if yuo are going to straighten your hair. Shower the night before and let it air dry instead
Well, okay so i have a distant cousin. and I'd always just use the term of 1st cousin , 2nd cousin, 3rd cousin, etc. Because i didnt get the meaning of like first cousin once removed. Well If you have a first cousin twice removed, Does that mean you are more related to him as if you were related to a 2nd cousin once removed? I always wondered that and thought if there was anyone out there that knew. And if the answer to that question is yes, does the "removed" mean you are less related then like a first cousin in general? Just thought I'd ask cause i was curious. haha. thanks! I have heard lemon juice works well. Also putting a hot wet rag on your face and leaving it there for 10 mins or so helps clear out your face. I bought a face spa from walmart and it is very good with acne and it was only like $10.
Also i got proactive refining mask. I think it is somewhat on the expensive side but it is really worth it. i Believe it is $20 a tube but i wear it every other night and i have really seen good results.
People on here have mentioned toothpaste before and i tried it and it was a huge mistake. I woke up and my face was a mess. It turned all of my acne into red scabs and was really a pain in the butt

well one i would say it is out of fear. Most men are bigger than woman and could hurt them if given the chance.
Also men are very stuborn. They are like little kids and aren't worth fighting with because they always think they are right and just don't get it.
Also your mother wants you to be better than him. Obviously he grew up thinking that men are kings and should be spoiled and your mom doesn't want you to be a spoiled brat basically.

I have a magenta razr and i cannot. I can record stuff but not set it as my ringtone. But you do not need the internet to get ringtones. When you go into your menu there is a place where you can do that under multimedia i believe. Also you can go on the internet you are on now and buy it!
I am a grad student at an ivy where people are quite snobby. Some women started the (false) rumor that I was masturbating in the library. I didn't do anything to these women, I didn't even speak to them ever, and I don't understand why they started this rumor. How I've dealt with it: Rather than defending myself, I just ignored it and focused on my studies, hoping that most people would recognize that it's so preposterous that it must be untrue. Now, my reputation is totally ruined and everyone (except a few of my friends) believes it, and everyone believes that this is true because I've been a workaholic and I've kept to myself for an entire year in order to keep up my grades. Now, whenever people pass by me, they call me "the girl who masturbates in the library" and smirk to themselves. The thing is, i know that they are talking about me, but it's getting on my nerves, and I don't know what to do. It's so embarassing a rumor that I don't even know how to respond. I thought it was so preposterous an allegation that i didn't think it was worth it to dignify a response, and that the best way to handle it was just to ignore it, pretend like i didn't hear it, and focus on my studies. Now, as a result, no one has let it live down, and for some reason, all the women in my class are repeating it over and over everyday. It's a very gossipy, cliquish school. What should i do, and how do you think i should respond?
Report it to someone. That is considered harassment and they can be thrown out of school and even be put in jail for that. You can't let yourself live through that when you can get rid of it. If you don't want to do that your only other real option is confront the woman head on that are causing you problems. For all you know it could be something as minor as they thought you said something about them first and you can all laugh it off in the end. The chances of that are slim but you will never know until you do something
I've been looking around for homecoming dresses with thicker straps, but I'm having a hard time. They don't have to be really wide, I would just like to be able to wear a regular bra underneath it. Strapless bras are always a pain because you have to keep pulling them up and even with underwire, they hardly support anything. Does anyone know where I might be able to find a dress with thicker straps? Thanks a lot!!!
What i recomend doing is getting a halter top then getting one of those bras that you can make the straps any way you want then get clear straps and cross it behind your neck making it basically invisible/ Chances are you will not find a dress with thicker straps. your best bet is clear straps though

i got my ears pierced in march this year (ear lobes)! I waited the 6weeks and then took them out! I also used the antiseptic spray morning and night for the 6weeks as recomended!
Now however if i leave earings out for longer than about 1/2 hour the back starts to close up!!! This has caused real problems with PE lessons at skl as i still have to put tape over them after all this time!! I look really pathetic and stupid!!!
What can i do to stop them closing up????? Please help me! I have to sleep, shower and even swim with them in because they close so quickly!!

thats what still even happens to me sometimes and i have had my cartilige pierced for over a year. the only thing you can do to fix the problem is wear your earings longer. You aren't supose to leave them out for any amount of time for usually six monthes. Also you could try dental floss. I had a friend do that instead of taping it. She just make a detal floss loop
13/f this may sound stupid, but i really don't like braces, they gross me out and soon I have to get braces. I know theres pretty much no way i can get out of them, and i can't use invisiline or anything. the only thing that will work for me are real metal braces. Is there a color or something that will make it look less gross? And is there a way that I could make the whlole braces process go quicker. Any tips or just anything about braces would be greatly appreciated.
you can get clear ones. They are the same thing as the metal ones but they are clear and only cost about $100 more. I know what you are thinking but you usually have to wear them for 2 years so the $100 is a good deal. The only part you can see is the wire and that is barely vissible except upclose. At first i really hated braces but picking colors and all that was sort of fun.
My advice is make sure you brush your teeth often, twice as much as you do now to keep your teeth looking nice!
