Please help! My sister has this project to do with air and flight so she's doing that thing with the giant pop bottle, a balloon, vinegar, and baking soda.
She needs to know how does the balloon fly, and what happens (scientificilly) before the balloon fly. Does the balloon fly or does it just goes up? Any other info or other thing you can add to hlep the project become a success?
I don't want a big mistake and like vinegar explodes in the whole classroom or anything.
What activates inside the bottle and then white stuff comes up to the balloon? Is it the baking soda or the vinegar?

The baking soda and vinegar undergo a chemical reaction producing Carbon Dioxide, the gas, and Sodium Carbonate, the white foamy stuff you see. Carbon Dioxide is heavier than air, so the balloon will not float, it will sink. The balloon will fill up, and eventually pop. Carbon Dioxide isn't flammable or poisonous, so don't worry about that.

okay... does everyone on this site just answer the

I only answer the questions on the right. I usually ignore a question if it has an answer rated 5, because that should mean the person has found their answer. All questions not on the right have been sufficiently answered or deleted, so there's not really a reason to check them.
"Number of ratings" is number of ratings in 30 days. "Number of questions answered" is for all time. So there is a large difference.

how do you know if someone declines / rejects your
question? besides the fact that it doesn't show up on
their column. do you get a notice? does it just
magically disappear from your "your questions" list?

It disappears from "your questions"; you don't get notified. If the person has looked at your question, but not answered it right away, (I think) it's automatically rejected after 12 hours.

okay so, my mobile takes videos in a 3gp format, and when it comes to editing my videos on movie maker, it wont accept the format, and neither will windows media player when it comes to playing them, so is there anything free out there i can use to convert my video formmat, or is there already a way?, (im using windows xp (prof.)
You have to save the movie file(file>save movie file) in windows media player. This WMA file should play in almost every player; if it doesn't you can convert using zamzar:

Most people on chatrooms aren't pedophiles, that's ridiculous. There's probably 1 in every 200 people. I'd tell him the truth and see what happens. ok so i edited my myspace so it was all nice in Mozilla Firefox and my friends said it looked weird so i went into Internet explorer and in IE it looks different and messed up like just a big gray box. what can i do?
IE and FF render pages differently. Both don't follow W3C standards 100%(though IE is worse). Run your CSS(the part in ) through the css validator:

ok so i need to write a twenty page paper for my college psychology class. My teacher is kind of a flake and didnt really explain anything all that well on the format. There's no private message function. Private questions aren't actively moderated, but they can be seen by everyone on your column. I'm pretty sure you can use the question system for advicenators-related comments. Chances are if a person didn't include an email on their column, they don't want to be contacted anyways.

I grew up in a Catholic family and always hated going to church. Stand up, sit down, stand up, sit down, kneel, stand up sit down. So boring and predictable.
Then I quite going to church for many years. I then tried some Christian church that was HUGE. They played music the whole time, which was alright. The sermon was OK to, but being raised a Catholic I wasn't comfortable with holding my hands up in the air and all these ministries and expectations.
I'm totally turned off by the conservative George Bush right wing religion thing to. I don't want to preach and I hate having people preaching AT me.

Whatever you feel comfortable with. You don't *have* to have a religion. Since you grew up with a catholic church, nothing else will feel the same. You can't expect something to be the same and better, that's impossible. Take a look at

This entire document needs to be re-worked. You link to a stylesheet with extension .htm. You specify two widths: one in the style and one in the tag. Iframes doesn't use border or allowtransparency. You don't have a doctype, or specify a character encoding. I recommend you go to http://w3schools.com and learn HTML.
