Hey everybody. I've love giving advice so I'll answer every question I can. If you need any advice on anything, just ask me! A little about me- I play tennis and I love to shop and hang out at my pool with friends. I'll be a sophomore in high school this year so I've had plenty of experience on friendship and relationships. I always try to take my time and answer every question thoughtfully. I don't care about ratings or any of that, I just want to help people out. :-)

after you get your first period whens the next time you get it? some say 5 months? or will it be one month?i got mine for the first time July 1st and i was just wanted a heads up for when the next time i'll get it
5 months?? Where'd you hear that? I wish! You get it once a month, but the first couple years it'll be irregular. Expect to get it around the first week of August, but like I said it could be off schedule for awhile.

for clothes shopping online, do you have to give out credit card stuff? can you pay in cash or something instead? and what happens if the clothes dont fit you, can you take it back? or whatever?

No you have to give them a credit card number. If the clothes don't fit you just send them back. You probably have to call them and let them know that you want to return/exchange them too.

I am a young lady that is popular, with books and everything. I want to stand out even more, I want to run track. First is track for everone, and second what do I have to do to prepare for the tryouts in January?
Track is definitely not for everyone. It requires a lot of indurance and concentration. If you can handle that then you are perfect for it. To practice for tryouts the best thing to do is stretch everyday, practice long distance running, and try to work out your legs. If yo have a trampoline that is really good exercise and so is bike riding. Good luck!

ok.. i share a room with my sister.. i have limited space but i have the bigger half of the room. my bed takes up most of the room. it is a daybed so it looks like a couch. it also pulls out inot a double bed. bu i only pull it out if someone is staying overnite. what i want is like a new desk, curtains, and a comforters. i am very girly. my room is going to be painted hot pink and brite green. i want stuff like ith those little pom pom fuzz ball thingys and butterflys. everything i want has to be not too pricey like not over 100 bucks each. and not that large well for the desks sake. i need to know like what stores. but like not stores like kmart, target, sears, bed bath and beyond.. different stores. with all the stores in this world. there has to be a good one. and also i know about pbteen and that is too pricey. so please help.

Definitely check out Ikea. They have a ton of cool furniture and it's cheap! You probably don't have a store near you (there aren't many) but check out the site.

Ok so you know that little arrow u click next to your browser that shows you all the sites you been to recently? ok so i clicked that today, looking for a site a typed in (im lazy), and then i find this site called nextboys.com. i have never heard, nor typed, nor visited that website so i was curious why it was on our computer. i clicked it, and you wouldnt believe what it was. it was a site for gay massaging!! UGH!! im really mad, because the only people who live in my house is my 7 year old sister, and my mom and dad!! my question is: is it most likley my parents did this, or is there another way to get a site in that list. and if my parents did it, what should i say to them????
It could have been a pop up ad or someone might have accidentally clicked on something without knowing what it was. You know how computers can be. Don't worry about it because it's probably nothing.

I'm 13 years old. I recently became pen pals with a guy my age who lives in England, I live in the US. I really like him, but I don't know how to tell him, or if I even should. If he doesn't feel the same way, I don't want to chance our friendship. What do I do?
Since you live so far apart, there's really nothing you can do. Plus you've never met him in person. For all you know he could be completely different than what he says on paper. The best advice I can give you is to just stay friends and focus on guys near you that you know well.

For me and my friends it seemed to be about 11 or 12. But everyone is different so it just depends.

Ive had glasses since I was three and finally im getting contacts. Im going for an appointment to learn how to properly stick them in and stuff. I know they'll be able to really answer my questions but can anyone who has them tell me what it was like the first few days the had them? Some people told me it was painless, most others said they were in alot of pain & that it burned. I just wanna know so I can be prepared for whatever feeling I get. thanks, I'll rate.

It feels kinda weird for the first couple of days, but then you get used to it and you can't even feel them. Just make sure you take care of them properly and keep them really clean. It shouldn't burn at all. If it does you have it in wrong. Hope this helps!

PBTeen (Potterybarn Teen) has tons of great stuff for rooms. They don't have a store but they have a website and catalog. It's a little on the pricey side but it's really cute stuff. If you want cheaper stuff check out Target. They have a lot of room decor stuff too.

OMG! She seems really mean!! Why do you want to be friends with her? She has some major insecurity issues. If I were you I would find some better friends, fast. She makes you feel bad, hurts you, gets you in trouble, and threatened to kill you!?!? I don't know about you, but these are not the qualities I look for in a friend. Let her know that if she wants to be friends with you she's gonna have to change her attitude. If she has a problem with that (which she probably will) focus on other friends, like I said. Hope you get this worked out!

How exciting! It's always fun to decorate a room. To make the room look bigger, put up a few big mirrors. They reflect light and will open up the room. Also make sure you have good lighting (natural light is best, if you have a window don't have it covered up with curtains all the time.) (15/f) Ok when ever I like a guy, I always want to spend time with him and talk on the phone and stuff like that but when I end up dating them all I want them to do is leave me alone and I never want to spend time with them. Am I just tired of them or what?
You probably just get nervous and don't know what to do once you're with them. Make sure you only date guys that you're really into to avoid getting bored or annoyed with a guy. Then tell yourself that he likes you + you like him so should spend time together.

Don't worry about it! There are girls who don't get there first kiss until they're 18! Whatever you do, don't try to rush it, because you'll end up not enjoying it, trust me. Wait until the time is right. If you've had 3 boyfriends then guys probably like you so it shouldn't be a problem for you.

Well, my bestfriend and i have been best friends for 8 years *I'm going to be a junior* and we've been tennis doubles partners since 8th grade. This summer she's been slacking off and I've been working out everyday. I play tennis atleast 3x a week but i'm starting to play more, and the days i'm not playing i'm reading a book on it or running! I really want to get better and I'm working really hard. But she really isn't. She's played tennis 3x this entire summer! Sometimes she skips tennis practice for work *understandable but she's just afraid to ask to get off an hour early even though she's done it once before and they were fine with it*, but tomorrow she's missing it for a party for some girl she just met! And practice are over at 7- and i doubt the party is even started by then. My friend, who's a year younger then me but also is working hard this year has asked me to be her doubles partner for a tournament coming up. I was like heck yes! I really would rather play with her because I know we'd do really well and my other friend isn't even trying! What to do?
It's really cool that you're so into tennis! (like me!) As a tennis player, I know how you feel. It helps A LOT to have a partner who is on the same level as you. Not only in ability, but in focus and love for the game. Your friend doesn't seem to care too much about tennis. If I were you I would definitely start playing with the younger girl. Start practicing together so you can get used to playing with her (get a feel for her game.) If your other friend gets mad, tell her that you have nothing against her and you still want to be friends, but you'd rather play tennis with someone who's really into it. What sort of job should i be looking for when i get out of high school, or what should i go to college for? Im not sure what i want to do with my life, and im really good at sports, can you give me something to think about?
What you do with your life is 100% up to you. If you're really into sports, maybe you should go into a sports-related career. You could be a sports therapist, trainer, or coach. Plus there's tons of other jobs that have to do with sports. But you can always explore other types of jobs too. Hope this helps!
