for clothes shopping online, do you have to give out credit card stuff? can you pay in cash or something instead? and what happens if the clothes dont fit you, can you take it back? or whatever?
X0C0URT answered Saturday July 16 2005, 7:41 pm: No you have to give them a credit card number. If the clothes don't fit you just send them back. You probably have to call them and let them know that you want to return/exchange them too.

Kr4z3y_Ch3lly answered Saturday July 16 2005, 2:40 am: yea you have to use a credit card. unless it says on the site that you can use a check..youd just give them the check number instead of the credit card number..
if the cloths dont fit you have to send them back and pay MORE shipping and handling..so that sucks..so its like paying for 5 things instead of one..
VivaLaVANS answered Friday July 15 2005, 11:10 pm: usually you pay by paypal or credit card. Some online stores let you return it within a period of time with all the tags on it and you can either get your money back or you will get a bigger size. Another option would be to find what you want online then print out the order form and mail it in with your money. It's generally a good idea to send a money order or check rather than money since cash sent through the mail often gets lost or taken by unscrupulous people. If you do use a credit card (or even a bank debit card since these are now widely accepted) make sure that there is an icon of a padlock (usually found on the bottom right of your screen) which lets you know that you're on a secure server.
If the clothes don't fit or you realize that they're not really what you were looking for once you see the outfit in person, most stores do have a return, exchange or refund policy. Most online stores have a FAQ link somewhere on the site which usually provides their policy on returns and such. One exception is items purchased on clearance. Most times the store will not accept the items back for whatever reason, unless you received the wrong item.
