The New Me

Question Posted Friday July 15 2005, 10:08 pm

Last year was a great year for me, But over the summer I didn't get invited to hang out as much as I usually do and I spent most of my time on the internet.
So I wanna come back as the "new" me. You know, just to impress people and make me more exciting and outgoing instead of the same me. Any tips on how to make the change before school starts in 3 weeks? *nothing dramatic like dying my hair*

Try talking to people more. Meeting new people usually builds self confidence and maybe changing your style might help. Be original. Maybe you can sass up your wardrobe by adding some things to it. Experiment with different makeup styles and just have fun.

Building your confidence (Studies show we're more drawn to confident people.), adding some new activities to your life (so you're more likely to have something in common with other people), and even smiling more (Studies also show that we're drawn to people that smile more.) can all help. Increasing your circle of friends will cut down on the likelihood of you not be invited to hang out since you'll have more people to hang out with. A simple hairstyle change can also draw attention. If people are used to seeing your hair up, try letting it down for a change.
Hope this helps. Good luck in your new school year.
