Paint it like light gray and hang the same mirrors on it just like put a mirror then don't put a mirror all over your room that'll make it look giganitc. Get some softcolors for your room accessories and bedsheets like a light blue that will look really good and mix it with gray that will look awesome. Go to Ikea.com they have a lots of nice stuff. Thats the only place I would reccomend because thats the cheapest place you can buy anything and their stuff is really good!
Happy Decorating!

don't paint the room dark.. it always makes the room look smaller for some reason and try getting a bed with like built in droors so you don't have to fill up space with a dresser. There are also many storaging ideas that can be organized and be placed in closets which will also take clutter out of your bedroom.

I don't know of any great websites for room decorating but you can google it and i'm sure something will come up. I'm re doing my small room also and i'm trying a bohemian thing so it will be relaxing and whatnot.. so i definitely suggest something like that so you can get away from school and family and feel comfortable in a calm room instead of crazy colors that you'll get sick of real quick. try muted colors but brighten the walls a bit to keep it more open.

i know this is long but i once read about how kids were using their closet as part of their room and taking off the door and just putting a desk in there or something.. so that might be cool if it works out. hope i helped

Here is a good website, it had a test that tells you how to organize and design your bedroom. And there are also some ideas for themes. Good Luck!

How exciting! It's always fun to decorate a room. To make the room look bigger, put up a few big mirrors. They reflect light and will open up the room. Also make sure you have good lighting (natural light is best, if you have a window don't have it covered up with curtains all the time.) For themes, try surfing/tropical, flowery/garden, sports, or whatever you're into really! Check out this site: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location). It should help you out! Hope your new room turns out cute and good luck with the move!

Making the room light and bright opens up a room a lot. Mirrors also make the room appear to be bigger than it is. Organizers will keep your stuff together and save space.
The following site has tips on decorating and well as a room planner so you can figure out where to put everything to maximize your space.

Hope this helps.

Here's a tip on how to make your small room look bigger,
To make a small room look bigger, pale colours and light-scaled furniture and accessories should be used. See-through pieces such as armchairs with open arms or cane seats and backs will give an illusion of greater space. To make a large bedroom more cozy and intimate, a variety of textures and dominant patterns for rugs, draperies and upholstery should be used. A sprawling furniture arrangement, large paintings and area rugs will also pull a room
Hope it helps.

a smaller room might be better..you wont have to have stuff in there that you dont need..just my opinion...for your theme you can make it like an underwater type thing..have like dolfins and stuff like that..you can paint your walls where it looks like your underwater...or maybe if your into sports paint like softballs, basketballs, bats, footballs ect. on the wall...just some thing i thought of off the top of my head lol...

I don't know how to make your room bigger but maybe it's a better idea to keep the small room becuz sometimes a small room can work to it's advanatge such as smaller rooms always look much more decorative then big rooms everyone knows that. But as for the theme I say a jungle but not a manly jungle like a jungle with pink flowers and the walls are painted with flowers and roses just stuff like that.
