AWWWH! I just read your column and I read the thing about letting friends drink and drive. That is REALLY sad! :-( I was about to cry! Anyways, I just wanted to tell you I thought it was really sweet. A friend of mine got into an accident and ended up paralized from the waist down because her boyfriend was drunk when he drove her home. He's dead but she's paralized. I've vowed never to drink and drive because of what happened to my friend. (link)

i have been with a girl for the last 18 months and she cheated on me and got with another guy, and on out year and a half anniversary she told him she loved him after knowing him for a week. can she love him? and he dumped her and said he doesnt like her anymore, and i know we cant get back together but sometimes she says i love you and is it wrong for me to say it back, i mean i resent her for cheating on me and breaking our trust and relationship but i love her, help please

This girl is not worth your love. You shouldn't waste time on someone who cheated on you--especially if you've been with them for 18 months!! I would just ignore her because obviously she isn't worth your time.

Well we just got to pick where we sit for lunch and we have to sit there all year. There's 6 other girls at my table, and like 3 are my good friends. Two of the other girls (besides my friends) that sit there are kind of shy, but nice, and I still talk to them. But the last girl..she is SO annoying. She just sat there when we chose tables, and some of the girls like her so they said 'okay' to her. Well we sit where everybody walks by us when they get their lunch and the girl I don't like is always yelling "HI..HI...HI!" to everybody, and it gets so annoying. Then she tries to take food from people when they are walking with their trays. If the people she says 'hi' to don't answer her or if they dont give her food, she slaps them. I mean, she's SO rude to everyone. I tried to tell her that it's not nice to slap people and try to take people's food..because it IS their lunch..THEY bought. She just tells me to shut up when I say something to her. I'm not gonna tell a teacher either because it's not a big deal. She just needs to learn manners and I don't know what to do. She's driving me crazy!! She thinks she's really cool, too, but not a lot of people like her. She has SUCH a big mouth! I just don't know how to deal with her---please help! thanks so much.. (link)

I am 24 year old college student and I just spent the weekend with a girl that just moved in across the street she is going to school here. I have talked to her a little before, but this weekend she came to my house and wanted to go hang out. So we did and we had a great time we spent almost the wole weekend together. We watched a movie togeterh she feel asleep and we just cuddled and slept until morning no sex or anything. I really liker her and we get along great, but when she comes over or I go obever there she acts like she doesnt want a hug or anything, but whene it is time to say goodbye. She gives me a long hug and doesn't want to let go but acts like she does't want a kiss so I just kiss her on the cheeck. This is confusing because she still comes around. I though mabey she just did not want to kiss so. The last time she was over I just gave her a hug. Then she came over later and acted different and gave me a half ass hug. This is confusing. I had a boyfriend named Patrick and the whole time we were goin out, which was about 3 months, he would always ignore my friends because they are country. He would also holla at other girls. When i asked him one night who it was, he told me it was none of my buisness. So we broke up, and he told me he couldnt hang out with me and my hicks. But see, the thing is from Adamsville, Tennessee and i am from Henderson, Tennessee (about 20 mins away) but now he is always at the Finger Square Dance (about 5 mins away from Henderson) and now he is trying to get back with me. did he really love me and whats up with that? Aright well i broke up with my ex boyfriend (6 months) like 4 weeks ago. And now I feel like it was a big mistake to let him go, and I want to go bak out with him soo bad, but when my friend asked him if he would eva go out with me again he said "no" and at the time i didn't really care, but now I do. But in order for u guys to answer my ? I guess u should kno u i broke up with him. Ok well ova the summa I started getting strong feelings for my best friend, and I didn't even kno if I was still goin out with him, and when school started one of my friends asked me if we were still goin out and he was next to me, and I said "I don't kno" and at the same time he said "yes", so Im like I hope he didn't here me. And then like 2 weeks later I was just soo confused and and I didn't even kno wat I wanted, and I guess u can say that I was kinda scared, I don't kno of wat but I just was, and for sum reason I didn't feel the same way about him, but now I have stronger feelings than I ever did for him. I am hopin that he will go bak out with me, cuz if he says "no" then I will neva be the same. Also when I was goin out with him it felt "right". So please help me on how i can get him bak or sum how ask him if he would eva go out with me again.

I just wanted to know what anyone thinks I should do.
Well a few months back I met this guy who I found out taught at the school I go to. Well we started kissing and meeting up, I was never that keen but I did it anyway.
Well i got back with my ex bf and told him I had so I didnt want to see him anymore.
I know what he did was wrong as he was a teacher but Im not sure if I should tell or not. The thing is I think he would do it again.

What this man has done is wrong. He went too far with a student, even though he was told not to! You should definitely give a report of everything that happened. Maybe you could tell a guidance counselor or someone with whom you're close with.

ok i like this guy named jamie who is kind of a dork but he used to like me and a lot of people still thing he likes me. i used to think that he was really weird and annoying but now i figured out that i like him...a lot! anyway he is moving to Hong Kong in January so i'm not sure if i should tell him how i feel or not. he's kind of like a geek in my grade so if we were going out i would be thought of as a loser for the rest of my school life. i was thinking that i could tell him on his last day of school but then if he liked me too then i would feel really bad that i didn't tell him sooner. i'm worried that if i tell him that i like him now he'll either a. not like me and tell all of his friends or b.tell me that he does like me but then he would still tell all of his friends and i would be thought of as a loser.please help soon because i really dont know what to do!

okay. so i like this kid and hes not the hottest kid ever k? but hes so so so nice! and he has like the best personality. I also kinda like this other kid who is my friends cousin and hes fricken hot and he has a good personality too...except sometimes hes mean to some people and like yea...but his personality is okay. SO i have NO clue who to choose. Its SO hard and they are both awesome...the hot one asked me out yesterday and i said i'd think about it and the great personality one asked me out this morning...so what do i do? plz help!!!

Alright my best friend and i used to fight a lot last year but we haven't fought in awhile. A few days ago, we went to a carnival and me and my other friend couldnt find her anywhere but finally we found the people she was with.I was all confused and asked them where she was and they started yelling at me for no reason telling me not to be mad! I wasn't mad at all and nothing was wrong but they were yelling at me for no reason and i tried to explain that to them but they just told me to shut up and kept yelling. I told my best friend what happened and she doesn't believe me! She says she doesnt trust me and shes positive that her other friends would never do that. I told her i would never ever lie to her, and i wouldn't, but she just said that i was making it up. I really really really dont wanna fight with her but we already are and if her other friends lie about what happened im afraid we'll never be friends again. I have a lot of other friends but she's my best friend and when shit like this happens it really really hurts. I have no idea what to do and please don't tell me to just wait till everything's forgotten, because i know thats not gonna work. Please help me..thank you so much and sorry it's so long. (link)

Well 1st of all, I think you should let loose and relax and have a good time. Now for kissing, just open your mouth and follow his lead. Put your hands around his neck kind of like you're hugging him and just relax!

I don't think there is anything wrong with dating or hanging out with a 16-yr-old! Whoever thinks it's bad will get over it!Some people just think you are more likely to get into trouble around someone older and they may think that you should just hang with people your age.

This dude is a LOSER, honey forget him! I mean he's obviously not a good guy if he likes a girl for her looks, or for her accessories, I should say! He's just out to get some and if he cheated on her for you, then what makes you think he won't cheat on you? This guy is definitely a big-time player. My advice~Stay far away! Move on and find a real guy that will treat you right!

well, he's the scenario. in the summer before 7th grade, i called me friend, nick. nick said he had to go to lake tahoe the day i had invited him over, and i said ok, call me back whenever you come back, he said ok. he doesnt call for many many weeks, so i decide to give him another call. he says he has to go somewhere else, so i say ok, call me when you get back. my dad says he sees nick walking with josh and matt (his 2 other friends) walking around where i live (because we live in the same area. im not friends with matt and josh by the way) so i guess ok he's blowing me off. i decide not to call him again. school starts, and i dont see him so much, and when i do, we just passed each other without a word. its his fault our friendship hasnt progressed at all. this year (8th grade) i see him in halls a lot more. when i go past him, should i say hello or nod my head? because remember this guys ruined my 7th grade world. i had to make all new friends. luckily i'm a great friend maker, and have gotten myself into 2 groups of my own. so should i acknoledge his existence? or pretend he's not there. thanks, and have a nice day.
