i used to have curly... & i noticed that using a certian shampoo doesnt really make much of a difference... ( i have also taken Cosmetology ) the key to get soft hair is conditioner... ALWAYS use a moisterising conditioner... & leave it in for like 5 mintes... ( sumtimes it helps if u leave it in for like half an hour ) so try doing that... & it should help... u should also try frizz ease... that helps reduce frizz but makes ur hair kindy greasy... that stuff is kinda expensive... theres another serum called Curls Up that u can try... it works just like frizz ease... it just cost less... you can get it from Wal*mart...

Loreal makes a Curl Vive shampoo that works well on the curly haired children I have cared for in my work as a nurse. I also recommend any products by Paul Mitchel. They are just AWESOME and they don't animal test. You can find them in salons, as it is an expensive but worthwhile investment.

Well, I know there's this one brand called "Curl Life". It's made by Matrix. I know someone who is a hairdresser, and that is the kind they sell at professional hairdresser stores. If you go to look for it, it's in a bright green bottle. gOOd lUCk! If ya need anything else, ask mE ;)

FrEe2bMe answered Monday October 4 2004, 9:23 pm:
Hey there. For naturally curly hair or really any time of hair I would suggest using an in-saloon brand. Biolage shampoos and conditioners are what many good hair places use. It leave you hair soft, less frizzy, silky, smoother, straighter, etc. You can get it at your saloon or Ulta or Sally Beuty Supply. They have conditioner as well. And, other very good hair products (Ie: Try Biolage Thermal Active Setting SPray insteado f hairspray when scrunching hair or adding mousse) The Biolage shampoos are a bit costly, but get hte job done and they are sold in large containers. :)
