Should I report him?

Question Posted Monday October 4 2004, 10:08 am

I just wanted to know what anyone thinks I should do.
Well a few months back I met this guy who I found out taught at the school I go to. Well we started kissing and meeting up, I was never that keen but I did it anyway.
Well i got back with my ex bf and told him I had so I didnt want to see him anymore.
I know what he did was wrong as he was a teacher but Im not sure if I should tell or not. The thing is I think he would do it again.
What do u think I should do? Should I tell or not?

We actually did more than kiss but Id rather not tell that to anyone at school.

Im 18 but he told me when we met that he got told never to kiss a student.

Yes I think you should deffinitly tell on him. What he did was wrong and even if he doesn't do it again, it will still be wrong. What he did was illegal. You should talk to a parent or other teacher. Do not under any circumstances tell any other student. The word will spread and an official could find out th wrong way making you look bad and also ppl will call u a slut if they here it the wrong way when really u r not. Good luck and remember that if u dont tell this could happen again!

What this man has done is wrong. He went too far with a student, even though he was told not to! You should definitely give a report of everything that happened. Maybe you could tell a guidance counselor or someone with whom you're close with.

wow. that is not right. i definetly think you should report it. that's just as bad as the whole teacher and her student a while ago. mayb you could tell and ask to be an unknown source. things could get worse. so definitly.

I think you should tell someone.

If there's a risk he's going to be harmful to his students then you need to.

Sure, it may cause problems with your parents for you doing it in the first place but that's a price you need to pay.

Good luck

Definetly tell!! He's quite dangerous and even if he doesnt come back to you he could always harm some other poor girl and you'd probably feel some awful guilt. Im not trying to scare you but even if 10-15 years pass by and he just wants to find you he could, and it could ruin your life. You'll live peacefully knowing he was reported... dont be afraid to do it, you'll be happy in the end!
Good luck Hun
