I see Mac has been suggested already, but I would recommend against that. Compatibility issues will come up frequently, especially when your school project needs to be submitted in Microsoft Word. There are ways around that, but the hassle of doing so, as well as the high cost of the product, outweigh the reliability in my opinion.
As you said, Dell isn't exactly reliable. My girlfriend's Dell laptop has gone through hell and back diagnostically. I work in a rent-to-own store and we constantly get Dell laptops and desktops in for service. In that respect, I would go for HP, as that is what I have here at home, and what we receive for service the least. I have the HP Pavilion Slimline s5250t. You can look it up on the HP website. If you're not going to be using it for gaming and such as I do, you can go for the cheaper model in the same series.
Alternatively, Compaq computers as good as well. I believe Compaq and HP are the same company now anyway. I would avoid cheap knock-off brands, like what you would find at Walmart for $250. They'll fall apart and cost you more in the long run. My suggestion is to buy either a new HP, Compaq, or Sony, or a refurbished one from a reputable supplier.

I took a trip to NYC my freshman year. We saw plenty, and I don't remember most of it, but 4 things really stood out to me. So recently, i had to put my shih tzu to sleep. and my mom told me i could get another dog. Now i want a medium sized dog, who doesn't shed too much. But im lost on the type of breed to get. I had an australian shepherd, or a basenji. But i'm not quite sure, any suggestions?
Unless you live in an apartment, or anywhere else without a yard, I would recommend a border collie. They're amazingly smart, loyal, and eager to please. Our border collie, Dizzy, is a shoo-in for the greatest dog in the world. She's easy to teach tricks to, doesn't have social problems, minds perfectly, doesn't tear up the house when we're gone, doesn't bark needlessly...AND she's a pretty dog.
Granted, she was an awful puppy. But once we got through about the first 6 months, she became the best dog I've ever had. They need things to do to stay occupied and not destructive, so you have to spend time with them so they don't get bored. They love to learn, they love to work, and LOVE to run.
If you do live in an apartment, you can still have one provided you are willing to walk it daily. We got her as a puppy when we still lived in an apartment and we got through it just fine. The hardships of her having abandonment issues (she was a pound puppy,) us being at work all the time, and being in a confined space were tough at first, but it was worth it and we'd do it again and again a thousand times over.

Ok so I am a total noobe at WOW but I found out that I can make potions and sell them in the auction house and make gold every day. Only thing is that I don't know how to build up my alchemy skills in order to be able to make these potions. I also heard that I can make viles? I don't know what I can really do but I am a Blood Elf Hunter level 31 right now with Alchemy, Herbalism, Fishing and I just got Cooking and I am thinking about dabbeling in Engenering cause I really like the motor cycle car thing and the goggles. Sounds like it. I just got over it last week and missed 4 days of work from it. Your symptoms are similar to mine. I went to the emergency room for diagnosis, but I pay for health insurance so it won't set me back much.

I lost mine at age 17. My girlfriend wasn't a virgin, so it was actually her who was the aggressor. I wouldn't say I was pressured into it, and I wouldn't say I wasn't ready. We had only been together for a month or two at the time.
