I took a trip to NYC my freshman year. We saw plenty, and I don't remember most of it, but 4 things really stood out to me. We saw Phantom of the Opera on Broadway, we went to the top of the Empire State Building, we went to Ground Zero when it was...well, fresh is an accurate word I suppose, and Times Square. We have an awesome group photo in Times Square I still have.

Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, Central Park, Metropolitan Opera, NY Public Library, anything in Chinatown, South Street Seaport, anything in Greenwich Village.

But don't miss the MUSEUMS!
