For about three months, i've been having a cough on and off (i think it's most gone now, though) and pressure in my head, eyes and nose. My face also swells, which is what bothers me the most. I went to the dr. like, last week maybe and she gave me some antibiotics. I took them for five days and now i'm off them, but the pressure and swelling continues. The pressure is annoying and i hate how i look and feel with the swelling in my face. Does anyone know what i should do? Are there any sinus medications or anything that would help with the swelling and pressure.. specifically the swelling?

I unfortunately have the same problem as you. I haven't been well since January with tons of different illnesses, and now it's a sinus infection that i've had for a month. You could be suffering from Pollen allergies. When doctors say it's a sinus infection they probably aren't sure what the cause of it is... so try taking allegra every day (it does a good job after you've been taking it for a while- like even if it doesn't help you at first KEEP TAKING IT) and take motrin for your swelling pain- and remember to drink tons of fluids.

everyone has cellulite- it's not a big deal.


the only way to remove it is to decrease your total amount of body fat by losing weight. I've lost 30 pounds already and there's a big difference in the amount of cellulite I have on my thighs.

My thighs look pretty much normal now actually.

So just eat between 1200-1700 cals a day and do 20-60 minutes of cardio+conditioning at least 4 times a week.

that should do it.

i really want to get a smaller waiste size. Right now my measurements are 31.5 26 33.5. I want to get a corset to push in my ribs and eventually give me a tiny frame. the corsets at victorias secret are suppose to be sexy not frame building. does anyone know where i can get one? (link)
corsets are really unhealthy- that's why people stopped wearing them in the early 1900's. Do you want to faint/have breathing problems?


If you want a smaller waist (which you don't NEED one- i'd die to have a 26' waist) you can do ab exercises/decrease your amount of body fat by losing weight...

but just don't be self-conscious because you're so thin! omfg can i switch waists with you? haha

Turnout is all about stretching the hip flexors. There is no easy way to do it- you have to do the following stretches daily: Sit on the floor with your feet facing each other so that your legs make a diamond shape (you probably already know this one) and gradually try to push your knees closer to the floor/put your face on your feet.


Also make the same shape with your legs only be on your stomach so your knees are on the floor. Then try to pull your feet closer to it.

This one is harder:
Also sit with both of your legs in that position where you're sort of kneeling only one leg is sort of out to the side and then the other leg is under the other one- only take the leg that's farthest away from you out farther so it makes a 90 degree angle and do the same thing with the other one so the right foot is touching the left knee. (if that makes sense- that was the best way i could describe it)


after you do these for a while you will notice your turnout has greatly increased.


Just WHATEVER YOU DO- don't try to overextend your hip flexors in a first position (or any position) by turning out your feet wider than they can naturally go. You'll become injured and then you'll never be able to dance again. (turnout must come from the WHOLE LEG- not just feet.)

I know it's wrong to fall in love with your teacher, but I mean, I can't help my heart can I? I was very much in love with a teacher at 13, but he was 43... I pretty much forgot about him in a matter of months after the 7th grade year ended. I'm sure that this same thing will happen to you, after you stop seeing this teacher. Trust me. But, at this point in your life he is unattainable because he probably is engaged/married/in a relationship. There's always the chance that, once you're 18 and if you still have these deep feelings for him that you can find him again and maybe he'd call you? or you could call him.

It is perfectly normal to be in love with a teacher. I know everyone goes through it at least once.


He won't want to be considered a pedophile by dating you, i mean, think of the reputation he would have if he was dating a 16-yr-old girl!

He's probably looking at you becuase you're pretty, or because he can tell that you have feelings for him, or because he thinks you're not paying attention. But who knows?

For the time being, involve yourself in something you enjoy- or let yourself fall for someone closer to your age. Then you'll be happy because you'll have a relationship with someone who returns your feelings.

I'm not a guy, but I do know that guys are always attracted to happy/cheerful women. Do you frown all the time? Are you negative? Do you come across as desperate? (which i doubt you are any of those things)

You need to overcome your shyness. You don't have to be loud and obnoxious like everyone else, but you must learn to strike up a casual conversation with a boy. (maybe you already do this?)

Join an activity of some sort such as drama (you'll find really outgoing, funny guys there). Or whatever you might be interested in. Then you can talk to a boy who has something in common with you. Talk to lots of boys- then they'll notice you're alive. Don't just pin yourself down to one.

Also here's another tip: really search for a shy, quiet guy. They're always the nicest and best boyfriends.

You could try putting on a good-smelling perfume, then people will look at you and notice you more because of the scent.


And finally: just know that I'm in the same situation as you right now- same age and everything. I'm pretty and nice, I'm not really that shy though... I've had two boyfriends that I got in the following ways: one was just attracted to my beauty, and the other was someone who I asked out myself.

I've been single for quite some time now, but everyone else around me has a bf. And it really sucks a lot, i know!


I want you to also realize that life isn't all about having a boyfriend. I've become much happier now that I was able to tell myself that. Relationships aren't that great- and dating isn't fun. It's actually really boring and pointless and dull, not to mention scary.

I totally and completely understand what you're going through. I'm 14 now, I've been masturbating since I was 12, and I do it 4 times every day. About the feeling starting to go away- it's because you do it so frequently. If you orgasm every time, you will notice that the pleasure decreases if you do it more than once every 12 hours. When that happens, just don't do it for about 24 hours and the pleasure will come back.

About guilt- well, you should not feel guilty just because you are a christian. I am a very strong christian myself. There is nothing in the Bible that specifically says not to masturbate, nor is it implied. I'm 14 and I'm the same way. You might not want to be checked into a hospital, because they will basically just lock you up (i don't know if they'll put you in a straightjacket or not) and that might not be better than the alternative of just being thankful for the things you have in your life.

So the truth of the matter is, it really isn't better to be in a mental hospital- i've come very close to it myself.

Do something that you enjoy, such as painting your nails or working out- that's what I do to get my mind off things.

I'm not wanted here either, but I'm fighting through this difficult time, and I know that someday I will meet someone who will want me and everything will be okay.

Just think- if you kill yourself now, you won't be here for all the wonderful things that will happen to you in the future- which is sooner than you think.

use "tampax easy glide" or "tampax lites junior". that's what i started out with.

just make sure the angle is right when you're inserting it. also relax your muscles.

they don't hurt at all if you get them in all the way.

Taking them out doesn't hurt- it just slides out... that's if you've had it in for long enough for it to get saturated with blood. If it's dry it's a little bit uncomfortable- but hey it ends in about 1 second.

you can't really change how your friend eats when you're not there- but you can tell her to look on an "online caloric needs calculator" to see how many calories her body actually needs.

As you may know, weight loss is not about starvation- it's about calories consumed vs. calories burned. Your body naturally burns a certain amount of calories every day, and if she is overweight she is obviously consuming more calories than her body is burning. That needs to change.

So just tell her to count calories- find out how many she should have in a day and stick to that number!

I'm not a cheerleader, but I'm a ballerina- so I do know quite a bit about flexibility.

It took me about a year to be able to do a split all the way. You MUST practice it every single day- and gradually try to push yourself lower. You might be surprised at how much lower you can go if your muscles are really really warmed up. Do some squats and weight lifting and maybe run for a while- just work up a sweat- then try to do a split.

There are two stretches that will help you to achieve a split- Go into a lunge with one leg in front and bend the other leg so your knee is on the floor- then push your hips forward so you'll be stretching the split muscle (idk what it's called lol).

Then, bend your back knee (the one that's on the floor) and lean your back down so your front leg is out, and you're sort of in fetal position with the one leg in and the other one out. And try to put your face on your knee.


Do those on both sides, then try to do a split.


Just keep practicing it- and after a short time, you'll be able to do it!
