My name is Devin Lindsey or Vinny as my sister calls me! I am 17 years old and go to Bethel Park High school. I loooove swimming along with dancing, singing, and playing softball. I also run varsity track with is alright i supose too.


My favorite colors are orange, pink, and blue. I love to be crazy and have a good time

I've had a job working for 15+ monthes so I can answer alot about that

and I know alot about relationships in general so I can be helpful with that sometimes

especially with parent child relationships


I am a very observant person and tend to know more and care about more than most my age


and I really believe in volunteering to help animals especially at shelters. Usually its not their fault that they have to live their and its usually horrible cercimstances that bring them there and I feel terrible that they can't speak for themselves and people are too caught up in spending like $500 on this cute little pure breed puppy from a breeder just into getting rich instead of giving one of these dogs another chance at life (there are usually a handful of dogs under a year old so the i want a puppy excuse doesn't work with me)

My baby is named Lainey Mae... we got her from a shelter about 2 hours away from us when she was 7 weeks old. she is now 2 years old and the center of our family. unfortunately someone was cruel enough to go down and drug up and shoot (but luckly not kill) most of the dogs plus rob the owner (just like someone did at the shelter where I volunteer) and its now shut down

depends on your skin. i am guessing you are white so i would go with a nude beige one. although anything you will be able to see. Cami's are the best!

i'm trying to grow my hair out longer. it's about down a little past my boobs and blackish colored. so i heard eating more protein helps hair grow faster. so would like peanut butter && soymilk help?

nothing makes your hair truely grow faster.. stuff like veggies and fruits can make it healthier so it doesn't break as much and stays long and strong.. but lean protein would help as well

Is it appropriate for my 12 year old 7th grade sister to wear a little makeup for when she cheerleads at football games. If so, what kind?

I would say its alright.. Maybe some fun eyeshadow and like glitter and lip gloss. No lipstick or foundation or anything. Just simple fun stuff. For they eye shadow i would check out like claires or kohls and they have the glitter at bath and body works in the kids section.

how do i stop caring about what people think of me?

the way i did it was i found people who thought i was perfect. I group of friends who thought i was the most gorgeous girl on the face of the planet. I went from feeling like the ugliest thing alive to being beautiful and number 1. I used to care what others thought cause i always wanted to be friends with the "popular girls" then i met the friends i have no i feel basically like i am better than everyone else (not in a cocky way but in an extremely confident way). You need to find friends like that and find a way to excel where people admire you. Like i found my friends at work i am and extremely hard worker and it didn't hurt that i was kinda cute on the side.


Just make yourself feel #1 and people will see it and tell you which will make your confidence grow and grow

Is there a hair rinse or something that will rinse all the hair dye out of my hair (semi permanemt)?


I dont want to re-dye my hair my natural color, I just want to rinse it allllllll out.

Are there any such products?

semi-permadent hair dye doesn't last all that long. I don't believe there is anything that will take it out other than the stuff that you use on permandent hair dye and that will about kill your hair.

your best off soaking it in water or going swimming..that should just about take it out.

1. its kinda odd cause its thin but you get used too it
2 it chips very easily when you drop it... like the whole side of mine is white and i have only had it for 3 monthes

I am 13/f and REALLY skinny, but I have somewhat big hips and very long legs. I need maybe a size triple 0 with a 34" inseam and size 1 in hips! Does anyone know how to get very long, slim, flare jeans with big hips? Thank you in advance!!!

i work in the retail business and i have never heard of triple 0 jeans even double 0s are hard to find

but hollisters are nice they make then in tall and they are tighter in the theigh (sp) and loser in the hips.

you really arent going to find much in the way of juniors but i really do recommend abercrombie kids, they have extremely cute clothes but in smaller sizes i mean gosh i am 16 years old and go there every once and a while

In high school, do most people carry around their bookbag? Or locker when they need to? I'm just scared that my class will be like across the school when I need to locker.

all through middle school and my first 2 years of hs i did not carry one.. it wasn' really "cool" too but this year the cut the time between classes and i fould myself needing something so i got a really cute tote, well two one for abercrombie and one from target which i use to help carry some of my books. I have a locker and i try to go there atleast twice a day but it doesn't really work out because we have an open college style campus with 8 buildings and its hard with only 4 mins between classes to acually get to our classes much less go to our lockers

Earlier I posed on Advicenators a question about whether I should get a second gift for my brother's baby shower (I got a pair of socks for start). I have since purchased a second gift but I'm hesitant to give it at the shower (which is two weeks away). It's a baby t-shirt from T-Shirt Hell and says "I can kick your baby's ass." I think it's funny and would make a nice change from all the cutesey baby shirts they're sure to get. (It's certainly less offensive than most of the other T-Shirt Hell baby shirts, if you check their website.) But what if someone (namely my brother or his wife) becomes offended? I doubt my brother will but I don't know his wife very well and I don't know if she's sensitive or not.

I tried to ask my brother (before I bought the shirt) if the shirt would be an all right gift, but I don't think he understood my question because he said if I didn't know what to get I should check the gift registry.

maybe that would be a nice gift to give them when the baby is born at the hospital or maybe you can give it to them and have like a little dinner at your place with just the 3 of you. I would do it when its a little more private and its a good time for a joke. If you are going to give it them at the baby shower babywait till the end when most of the guests are gone.. i just wouldn't surprise them with that in front of everyone

nope the only person they could really get in trouble is the person you bought it from but everyone knows NYC is filled with fake and stolen stuff.. chances are they won't care and may find humor in it
