Flattering Leggings

Since leggings are suddenly "in" now, I was thinking of getting some. I was wondering what colors/styles would look good on someone with a curvier shape...any advice?

first of all horizontal heck NO they make your leg look fat sorry it's true.

and yess hollister and all those stores cute legging but the pple who say that probably haven't been to other stores like dillards or Jc pnny they have really cute ones and you don't have to spend over 30 something for them.

I think browns, blacks and greys would look great. Leggings are really cute and in. But, make sure they aren't too out there. Make sure they some what match with the outfit you're wearing. However, brown, black and grey pretty much goes with anything and everything. ♥

I would actually have to disagree with the other people who gave you advice. Horizontal stripes, though trendy, make your legs appear wider. Black is always slimming and looks really cute with skirts and doesn't dominate your whole outfit but works as a cute accent instead.
Other option you might go for, if you're really concerned with your size is skinny legged jeans as those are in style as well and work like leggings. I don't have a lot of information on your body type but for larger girls, leggings might make your thighs look too big.
Either way, I love tights and leggings. Try wearing them with pumps and legwarmers, they give them an 80's rocker vibe and that's exactly what's in for the season.

about leggings: i got some brown ones from Bui Yah Kah and they are low rise and curvy and they have different colid colors like black and grey and brown, etc. urban outfitters has REALLY cute ones

there are some but they have cuter ones in the stores. lets see forever 21 has cute ones, wet seal, jc penny's, macys, etc. i would just take a big trip to the mall!
