2. You mean the silver or black part? Uh, not that I know of.
3. Nope, hasn't happened to me get and I've had mine for about a year. Although if you drop the phone the part on the back of the phone that covers your SIM card often comes off. But it's easy to put back.
4. Sure. I'm a 13 year old girl, and I love mine. It's really pretty and there's a camera on it. What more could you ask for? (LOL)
5. Right now it's $240 for T-Mobile.
love143x answered Thursday September 7 2006, 5:38 pm: I've had a razr since December and I love it :)
1. No, it doens't feel weird, the small phone actually makes it easier to hold onto.
2. Depends, if you buy one of the plastic clips and have it on all the time, that can ruin the color on the backside/towards the bottom. but other than thing the color stays fine. (I have a silver one and my friend has a hotpink one, no problems.)
3. Yes, the cover is pretty heavey duty. I've stepped on my phone by accident, dropped it, the whole 9 yards, and it hasn't broken.
4. I would recommend this phone for anybody no matter what age, who is responsible, and wants a phone that is light and compactable.
5. I have T-Mobile also, and I got my phone for $100. But, they are selling them now for only $50 since newer phones are coming out now.
uisforukelele answered Wednesday September 6 2006, 7:30 pm: I have a Razr with Cingular. 1. No, it doesn't. It's actually easier to hold, if you're talking on the phone and doing something else at the same time. Because it's so small, I can type and talk on the phone at the same time. 2. No, but I have a silver razr. My friends have colored ones, and they haven't had any trouble. 3. No. I've dropped my phone more times than I can count and there aren't any scratches on it. 4. I guess. If you're responsible enough to keep up with it. 5. The price for a phone from Cingular is around 150 bucks. There's also a 50 dollar mail-in rebate. I don't know if T-mobile is any different. EDIT: Right :) [ uisforukelele's advice column | Ask uisforukelele A Question ]
Imperialistic answered Tuesday September 5 2006, 11:51 pm: Ok I have had a razr and for ages and LOVE it.
1. It felt weird for a day but after it felt totally natural and it's easier to handle and store.
2. Don't buy the light pink razr. They've been coloured over and over to achieve the perfect colour and the guy at Rogers Wireless said that it's the reason why they chip so easily. My hot pink razr is good as new.
3. No. I've dropped the thing so many times. Unless you throw it against a wall, it probably won't break off. It's very well reinforced. Just don't step on it while it's open or anything like that.
4. I suppose so. I don't know your lifestyle. But it's perfect for mine. I only carry my phone and money to parties and it fits really well in my back pocket and it's thin so it doesn't look like a lump sticking out. The thinness also helps while you're texting your friends in class. It fits in nicely in your textbook/binder.
5. I have no clue about the prices in the US. I'm in Canada and I had to buy it for it's orginal price but these days they're having sales where it's fifty dollars if you get a 3 year plan. [ Imperialistic's advice column | Ask Imperialistic A Question ]

XXkaiiOO answered Tuesday September 5 2006, 10:01 pm: 1- When I talk on my phone it does not feel weird. and i have small hands as well. so i dont think it would be too akward. maybe a little strange feeling at first but you will most likely get used to it.
2- Well i had a pink rarz phone and the color never peeled off. and my mother had a just plain silver razr phone like the first ones that came out and the paint on that has not peeled off.
3- the cover thing does not break off easily well unless you try to snap it off then it will obviously break like any other flip phone. Mine has gone through major damage and the flippy thing is not loose at all. unlike my other flip phone that i had before that.
4- I would recomend it to any one who is 13 or older. because someone younger doesnt really need a cell phone or at least not a razr phone.
5- the prices can range to 50 dollars to maybe about 150 dollars. i am not sure because i have cingular. it would depend on wether or not you already had a cell phone and just wanted a new one (in that case it would be more expensive) or if you wanted a brand new phone with a brand new plan and all it would probally be less money...
DancinCutie08 answered Tuesday September 5 2006, 9:59 pm: EDIT: YEAH ONLY THE DISCOUNTS FOR THE MOST PART ARE FOR NEW CUSTOMERS ONLY BECAUSE THEY ARE LOOKING TO GET NEW PEOPLE. AND ABOUT THE DROPPING THING I DON'T DROP MUCH EITHER BUT I HAVE DROPPED THE PHONE MAYBE 2 OR 3 TIMES AND YOU CAN REALLY TELL
i have the magenta razor
1. its kinda odd cause its thin but you get used too it
2 it chips very easily when you drop it... like the whole side of mine is white and i have only had it for 3 monthes
3. i have heard so but it wont if you take care of it
4. no its a phone that easily scratches and breaks its nice but i would go for something more heavy duty
5. I have t-mobile too. i got the phone for 100 plus and 80 dollar rebate because i was a new activation but b/c you aren't new there you will have to pay like 250 for it, plus the 35 dollar activation fee at 75 for the warranty (which i got)
