well i want u to know that i told my mom about john on thursday after school. i knew she had to pick up my brother so i told i had to tell her something important when she came back and she asked me if it was good or bad...and i said good.

My mom just said that i better be careful with him since it's considered rape. But other than that my mom was ok with it. But my dad on the other hand was kinda like he better not hurt u or anything so basically my dad is being very protective of me right now. So my parents are happy for me and arent forbidding me to not see him. so i figured id let u know what happened since gave me advice.

I`m usually not the one to ask for advice, but I`m just not sure how to handle this situation.

Okay, I dated this guy, A, for a little over a year. I loved him so much, but we had our differences and we just couldn`t make it work. We ended on good terms & still talked every week or so, just like friends. I was upset one night & we talked & he ended up telling me he had been out with my best friend of 3 years that night. It`s totally out of character for Jenn, my best friend. So, I e-mailed her & explained how I felt, but she tried to blow it off & acted like there was nothing going on. I`ve been told otherwise, by someone that`s close to Jenn & A. I was told that Jenn liked A, but he didn`t like her. So, after she e-mailed me back, I never contacted her & she hasn`t tried to contact me. I`m REALLY hurt, because she was my BEST friend for 3 years & I love her to pieces. I haven`t talked to her in over two months now & I don`t know what to do.. It`s hard to talk to her when she just blows it off, like it`s nothing. & It seems that she doesn`t care because it`s been 2 months & she hasn`t even ATTEMPTED to talk to me about it.. Should I just forget about it & let my best friend go? Or should I just totally confront her and be harsh? HELP!

She's dumping you for a guy. Typical of most girls. I know i'm guilty of it. But what sucks is that it's your ex-boyfriend. Hmm...you should definitly confront her about it but don't be too harsh. I think you should work to save the friendship and bitching her out isn't gonna help. Just get together and dish it all out...don't yell or accuse...just calmly sort out the truth. Good luck!

I recently had sex for the first time (about a month ago) and since then I've needed to pee an unusual amount. And when I do pee, it can really hurt. I now have trouble controlling when I need to pee too. Like, the second I get home from school I have to run to the toilet or I'll like pee myself. It's so embarrassing. The other night I even peed while in bed and got really freaked out. WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH ME?!

This happened to me when i first started having sex or if i have sex in different positions. I`m not sure why it happens but it eventualy goes away. You might also have a Urinary Track Infection...i`d go see a doc and tell them what`s going on!

Hmm...well first off are you using a condom? That helps it glide in better. If it still doesn't work use a lube or some vaseline. If you're a virgin it's gonna be hard to get it in the first few times because the opening isn't very big. Hope this helps!

I tried it but i couldn't stay on it for long...i think it's a good and healthy method tho...just not too sure how well it works!

Not many people are gonna hire a 13 year old. I'd consider doing odd jobs for people or babysitting! You can make alot of cash babysitting!

k, i have ALOT of questions about shaving - 1) which way do you shave? Well i'll assume you're talking about shaving "down there" and not just your legs.
1) You shave WITH the hair growth
2) I use something w/ Aloe and Skin Conditioners to make it smooth
3) If you're careful you shouldn't cut yourself but if you do, it doesn't bleed for long and it only hurts as much as cutting yourself on your leg.
4) As often as you'd like

I'm searching for a good birth control method to use. I have taken Ortho Tri-Cyclen, and Depro Vera before, and would not be incredubly unwilling to try them again. The problem is that I have a very hard time remembering the pill each day, and I have heard bad things about the shot. Such as: weight gain, increase in discharge... and I find it hard to believe that it is healthy to go through your life without having your period.

I know that this should be a question for my gynocologist, but I could not get an appointment for another month or so. I was wondering if anyone could give me some pointers on a good method of birth control. Perhaps some good and bad experiences you have had?
Of course, older columnists prefered.

When I was 15 i went on the pill and, like you, i couldn't remember to take it each day. It was such a hassle. When i turned 16 i decided to go on Depo-Porvera and i've been on it for the past 3 years.

I personaly love it and find no disadvantages at all. I had gained about 1O lbs since then (in 3 years) but by dieting and excercising i lost about 7 pounds. I haven't had an increase in discharge either. I really haven't had a bad experience w/ it.

I also have faith that it's completely healthy. I mean...if not...why would so many people use it? Like, nothing pills up in there because you just don't ovulate. It's just kind of like you're body is on PAUSE and then once you get off of it it'll get back into motion.

I always recommend depo-provera to anyone who asks because it's a really good method of birth control and what's better than not getting your period?

Hmm...well it's possible that you could be in love but rare since you only went out for 2 months. I'm not saying that it's not possible tho.

When someone breaks up w/ you it's like losing your best friend really suddenly. A few months ago my boyfriend of 2.5 years broke up w/ me and i felt like i had lost the closest person to me forever; (luckily we're back together and everything's perfect).

So i say give him another chance cause you obviously have some strong feelings for him and see where it goes from there!

If there's one thing guys hate it's being asked how they truly feel about someone. They feel like they're being rushed and they don't like giving straight answers. I dunno how you could get a straight answer from him, just don't bug him too much and make sure your friends don't harass him too much!

i am in love. I know it, and I can feel it. I talked to the same guy for 2 years. He lives 45 minutes away and it kills me. i see him almost every weekend, but I suffer through the week without him. You remind me of me. I fell in love @ 16. I'm 19 now and we're still together. He live an hour and 15 minutes away from me but we try to see each other every weekend. It's tough during the week but then it just makes the weekends that more special. Sixteen isn't too young to be in love.

Yea i'd tell them. Just casualy mention one day that you made a new friend. Let them know he's a guy and maybe that you hope to get to be good friends. Don't just surprise them one day by saying "I've got a new boyfriend". They'll feel better about it if they know you've been friends first!
