ok so this guy at school told me last week that he likes me. he has a girlfriend so i never tried to do anything to their relationship. i was surprised when he told me that he was willing to break up with her if i was willing to start a relationship. friends of both of us had been telling me for weeks to give up on him because he was never going to break up with his girlfriend. i heard from a friend today that he was never planning on breaking up with her and feels really bad about what he did. i want to rip off his head, i want to strangle him, there is so much i want to tell him that he did wrong. im not sure how to handle any friendship with him in the future. should i confront him, leave him alone, or jsut pretend nothing has changed? wow babe thats tough. However, it sounds like you're letting your friends influence you too much. You can't believe everything you hear. If you want things to change between you two then I would confront him and ask him if what your friends are telling you is true or not. I would wait until you cool down a little though. Ok this is what i did once and it was hilarious!!! Its not a song so sorry lol! But I made a recording and I pretended like i was talking to the person for my outgoing message...I said "hey" then paused for a couple secs. Then said "whats up" *pause* "thats cool" *pause* "soooo" *pause* "yea...by the way i kinda forgot to tell you this is my voicemail so leave a message and I'll call ya back!* it was hilarious bc my friends were at this thing and i was still sleeping so i didnt answer my fone and the guy had it on speakerphone so he started talking to my voicemail...he was soooooooo embarrassed when it said "this is my voicemail" it was hilarious! so yea do that instead of a song!! sorry i didnt really help! love ya

Okay, so I've been talking to this guy for awhile. Lemme point out the majority of my friends are guys. I just like them better - they're easier to get along with.
So this guy is kind of a jerk, but he's not really mean. He just like, teases and makes fun of me a lot. I was talking to him the other night, and I said something about talking to much and joked about him "probably want[ing] to duct tape my mouth and hands" (we were talking on line) and he said "you know, I might just have to take you up on that," and we went into a whole conversation about like, tying me up and he made it like, really sexual.
Then last night I was talking to him and I asked him what he wanted (I meant out of life) but he turned it into a discussion about what we wanted in relationships, and then he asked why I was so curious/interested, and I answered honestly first, saying it was "just something to talk about, and gets me into your head a little." and then said (obviously sarcastic) no, it's because I want you. And he thinks I seriously like him! I can't convince him otherwise, and I totally don't. I mean, I like him as a friend, but that's honestly it.
I don't want him to go around thinking I like him when I don't. So how do I fix this situation? I've tried talking to him about it and calmly explaining that I really, honestly don't like him like that and that I was totally kidding, and he said something like "You can lie to me but you can't lie to yourself."
Yeah, he's kinda arrogant. But like...what would you do?
It almost sounds to me like he likes me, but he specifically said he didn't.

Haha...I know EXACTLY what you mean babe. I went thru the same thing myself. I wouldn't talk to him for awhile and give it time to sink in that you don't like him. But this guy sounds like he has a really big ego and i don't think that he's worth your time so just forget about it and move on to someone better! Hope I helped...Love yah!

I do 25 crunches and 25 push-ups everyday. I plan to do more as I become better at it. I am trying to eat better, also. Is there anything else I should do to lose weight? (link)

You sound like you're off to a good start but its not enough. You should start running or playing a sport for cardio to burn calories, and gain more muscle...muscle burns calories too and it also weighs more than fat, so do yoga, pilates, or just lift weights! Drink a TON of water...no soda and eat salads! hope i helped! love ya!

Ultimately I can't tell you what to do so you need to make this desicion yourself....but you need to figure out your morals and set high standards for yourself...Read Ephesians 5 in the Bible (i'm pretty sure thats what it is) but don't do something you don't wanna do bc of some guy! Well, here's the story. I'm 14 Female. My friend moved to my town a couple years ago. She visits her old town often, so she brought me with her one time in the summer. It was REALLY fun, we hung out at her old friend's house. And this kid was there. All of us hung out all day. I like the kid that was there, and I have liked him since that night. We talk online every once in a while, and I've talked to him on the phone a few times. It seemed like he liked me from the way we talk to eachother, but I don't know. That was in the summer, and it's October! He lives about 45 minutes away, which is not too bad. I REALLY like him, but I don't know what to do. My friend says it totally sounds like he likes me, but nothing's happening. Also, like, if he asked me out or something, do you think it would work? (him living 45 minutes away?) It would be far to drive just to hang out. I don't know exactly what I'm asking, but if you have any advice, it would be great? (link)

Don't get involved w/ him!!! I know from experience it won't work. I think that yall should just talk on the phone and IM a lot more and have your friend bring you when she goes back to visit again! 45 mins really isn't that far, but if you can't drive yet, it's not worth it. From my own experience, one of my "friends" here was interested in becoming friends w/ one of my guy "friends" back home...which is 8 hrs away...and I'm not friends w/ either of them any more...so you never know what can happen, but basically just talk to your friend and ask her how she feels about everything first, then start talking to him more if she says its ok, but its really not worth it to get so attached to him yet. Me and my friend Kayla have been frinds for 4 years. Well i went to the fair one day and her ex boyfriend was their he started talking to me then he hugged me and asked me if he could walk aroud with me. Well i said sure, so then we were walking around and all of a sudden he turned me around and kissed me and i didnt stop him we just started making out. I didnt mean to though it was really hard to stop cause it reminded me of my ex b/f and how he used to kiss me so i went in a days. Well now she found out and she is really really mad at me but she wont admit it she hangs up on me every time i call her. I dont know what to do i dont wanna lose my friendship over a guy. (link)

Well, first off, you should've known NOT to kiss your friends ex. I would HATE it if one of my friends did that to me, so let her cool down for a week or so. Don't even speak to her, bc if you do it'll just make her more angry w/ you! Also, it sounds like you aren't over your ex yet and she isn't over her's either. Babe, I'm sorry, but you got yourself into this situation, whether you can see it or not, so if she's really your friend, you should talk to her ex and tell him that it was wrong to make out w/ him bc you hurt your friend. (if you even feel that it was wrong) then hopefully she'll calm down and let you apologize. If not, that's her decision. So, yea there's a possibility that you could lose a friendship over a guy. There's this boy that was in all my classes last year (in the 7th grade). Jock. Jerk. Popular. Biggest S.O.B. to walk the earth. Everyone liked him, but I loathed him. He would make fun of how unpopular and "weird" I was, he'd laugh with his scruffy friends during French whenever I made a mistake, he'd even call me bad names sometimes. So I got even with him and stole his baseball hat, and hid it, and laughed and made fun of him whenever he made a fruitless attempt to find it. I didn't even get in trouble! After a while, he found the hat. This year, he suddenly started being nice to me. He gave me compliments, started sending me IMs, etc. I was nice back, and in a suttle way we became friends, but I didn't forget how much of an asshole he was last year. Friday, this guy I barely know told me that he (the boy) said I was really hot and nice. I'm confused. Do you think he likes me or he's just scared I'll steal his hats? (link)

He definately likes you!!! Boys in 7th gr are immature and they "tease" you if they like you. That's happened to me MANY times before. But they grow up and act more mature so he prolly just got over himself and realized he liked you so if I were you I would pretend that the crap that happened last yr didn't happen and just start over bc he seems to generally like you!! Well you could get something he likes...like golf balls if he likes golf and 1 of those for everyday you've been together if you know how long that's been and then you could say something like "I have been happy for x# of days, and what would make me even happier is if you came to homecoming w/ me" I know thats kinda lame....but its all I can think of right now! Well, if he's w/ some one now, then he prolly did have someone else on the side so just let him go. But if he's still single you should definately talk to him about how you felt when you broke it off and ask him about it. Well on my first day of school I wore a skirt and a button down shirt w/ stripes...it looks cute on I swear okay!!! I can't really tell you what to wear bc I don't know who this is and therefore i don't have your closet memorized! And about your friend...do you ever talk to her face to face? Maybe you need to say something to her first because she might feel you're ignoring her? I know that's how I feel sometimes. Confront her w/ this issue and ask her why she isn't returning your e-mails or calls. Hey who is this?? um i dont really know...i would say powerwalk on a full incline on a treadmil or do up hill sprints. And lunges and squats would prolly work too. i would just say do basic leg work? sorry i don't really know all too much about this!
