I have 2 questions...
1) How can I decide what college I want to go to? I know I have to apply to a few, but, you know how everyone has there heart set on one, how can I pick one for me?
2) And, is there any kind of quiz online I can take to give me some good results on a career I could go into? I'm dumbfound when it comes to what I want to be and go to college for.

ok well im 13/m and i have feelings for my friend. The problem is that she has been going out with her boyfriend for a long time (year and like a month) andso i've been trying to be there for her and be her friend but now her and her bf are going through some rough times and she doesn't think he likes her anymore. I want to make a move but think that might be taking advantage of her and her situation. Should i go for it? Is it taking advantage of her current situatuion?
I think you should wait and be there for your friend, couples go through rough patches all the time so they could get over it, but if they don't you will be there for her. If you really have feelings for her you should wait til everything calms down and she will be ready for another relationship.
Have any of you guys tryed to spray on tan where you stand in the thing and it gives you a tan? If so does it work good and better then a tanning bed?
I have heard those are so much better than tanning beds (makes sense, seeing as u can get cancer and you turn in to a prune when your older) My friend got it and she was so tanned it looked so good! they are very even, but it can get pricey for the amount of time it is on, I think if you get it for a special occassion it would be worth it but not if you want a tan always. I think if you learn how to put the rub on tan stuff (versus the spray on machine tan) then it would be worth it. I would defiantely suggest not the tanning beds they are sooo bad for you (I use to go hardcore but then i found that out)
i put a crap load of deoderant on every day before i go to school. i'm never hot or anything, but i always sweat in my arm pits, and i don't know how to cover it up. i can't wear a sweatshirt anymore, i get even hotter and it feels more gross. i don't know what to do! somebody help!
You could try to put on a small tshirt under neath your other shirt so it absorbs the sweat, or you could buy an antipersperant deoderant, I have that problem also the tshirt thing works for me so you could try it to!
What types of paint colors would make a small room see bigger?
Light colored paints would make your room seem bigger also the less pictures you have in your room the bigger it seems, You can have a few posters or so but don't put them very close together or else it will seem small.

You could try readng them out loud, or even writing them down because seeing them may help you remember...
You could get someone to hold your script and make you recite them... that will take practise but you will be forced to remember each line .
when people say "Christ is not a fasion" what are they implying?
They are saying that you can't all up and decide one day to be like christ or follow in his footsteps and then the next day decide not to, that believing in christ is a life long thing.
i get horrible back pains, and all i can do is crack it, but sometimes it gets so stiff that it wont crack, any advice on how to crack it?
what I do is i sit in a chair straight then take my arms and turn them to left grabbing the backseat of the chair keep pulling your arms and you can feel it in your back, it should crack, then do it for the other side.
Another thing you could do is if you have a workout ball but your back on it and rolling, that sometimes helps.
Also if you have someone who can help you crack your back you can stand with your back facing the other person and put your hands crossed on your shoulders and get the person to lift you up and kinda shake you a bit, my bf always does it and it cracks my back. OR you lie on the ground with your stomach down and you get the person to carefull push down on areas of your back you want cracked
Does anyone have a tattoo on there lower back? I really want to get one when im 18. Or does anyone have one on their ankle. If so can you tell me how bad it hurt ect. Thanks.
I have one on my lower right side of my back, it was very irritating but it did not HURT... i kept flinching when i got it everytime he put the needle down iwould flinch, but i mean it just felt like a thumb tack being repeatedly pushed in your skin... it doesnt hurt... but its just irritating... if that makes sense and also the buzzin sound of the needle is annoying... just bring i na magazine or ask them if there is something you can do to distract yourself it helps alot! cause wheni got mine i just read all the stickers that were infront of me there were like 100!! and it went by in no time with hardly any pain just irritating sounds and feelin
Hey-i was reading through your column and i really liked the advice you were giving so i was wondering if you could help me out with a situation i have:
alrite so beginning of this year (i was still a junior in high school) i met a guy (a senior in high school who's now a freshman in college) through my best friend's boyfriend and one nite after all 4 of us hanging out i ended up hooking up with him. When it started out, neither of us was looking for a relationship, i was just looking to gain experience so i figured it was a great idea. Long story short-i went pretty far with him and got attached-towards the end of the school year we found out we both really liked each other, we went to prom together and were hooking up monogamously for about 4 months but he never asked me out-finally middle of summer he said he didn't wanna lead me on but he really didn't want a gf when he was gonna be leaving for college in a month-i told him i understood but naturally i was heartbroken. So i didn't see him the rest of the summer, i've just heard stories about him hooking up with other girls which killed me...literally but i finally finally got over him (its been a long long road). Anyways he's back for thanksgiving break and i haven't gotten play in awhile-so this friday we are getting together-im really worried cuz when i see him i don't know if i will have the strength to turn down hooking up with him, but i definitely know i don't have the strength to get over him again-at the same time....i desperately need play LOL. What do u think i should do?!?!

Well your in a sticky stich!! On the one hand you could totally hook up with him for play but that could leave you heartbroken again or you could totally not hook up and give yo uthe wondering "what ifs" and obviously not getting a piece! Ok I would say see if he calls you first, ya know to see if he is at all interested? And obviously if you guys hooked up and broke up because he was going away to school (totally understandable) and he hooked up after you it wasnt because he wanted to hurt you he probably just wanted a piece and knew where to find it. But what you should do is see if he calls you first and see if he makes an effort to see you or talk to you maybe you could try and talk with him and say that (if you actually do want a piece) then you two can hook up for thanksgiving just on a sexual basis, so then you kind of remind yourself that you shouldnt let feelings get involved! (which can be soo hard!!) So basically its up to you now, you can hook up with him and keep reminding yourself that its just sexual, like maybe afterwards just remind yourself that it was totally just friends hooking up for some play, helping each other out, doing a ...sexual favour? haha :P Or you could put strength in your words and turn him down because then you wont have this sticky situation when he comes home for Xmas...new years.. If it were me I would try to find my deepest strength and turn him down because just think in a couple of weeks he'll be back and you'll be in a deeper trouble cause he'll be home for longer.... hmmm I hope i helped!
I'm starting to make a collage on my one wall, with like band pics and my concert tickets and all that. I don't have much stuff yet. All I have are my tickets, Taking Back Sunday picture, a Something Corporate picture, and a My Chemical Romance picture. Does anyone know any good magazines to get like full-size pictures of those types of bands? Or anywhere else, like internet addresses? Thanks so much!
You could try looking at a grocery story or corner store at the magazines, finding something like guitar world, or a music type magazine will get you some good pics. Also you could goto google.com and type in your bands name and after write pictures (ex: Green Day pictures) and you should find tons of stuff!! or to make it simple goto google and type in your bands name then click the images button at the top and it will show you all pictures possible of green day it could find.
hi..okay i had asked this guy i liked out to do something with me..before this we hadnt' rally talked too much but he sorta followed me a little at lunch and i cud tell and it was pretty cute..ppl told me that he prolly likes m n stuff so wen i asked him he sed he didnt know if he cud make it to where we were going..then on monday (i has asked on friday)he completely ignored me and on tuestday too..What do u think this means? I was getting a good vibe from him before and now he just randomly started to ignore me..cud he b nervous, or maybe he just stopped liking me..thanks a bunch you guys.
You could try and talk to him and address him on him being different, ask if something is wrong or if he is being just shy ? If he doesnt give you a straight out answer just forget about him, cause if he is gonna ignore you and be jerk then he isn't worth your time!
i have this bed head stuff i used to scrunch my hair, it always seems to get frizzy when i put hairspray in it, but i have to otherwise it won't hold.. what can i do to it that'll make it less frizzy??
You could look into buying shampoo or conditioner that says defrizz on it, or buying gell along with it that has de frizzing stuff in it, there are tons of product for it

You can trying calling her like every other night or every two nights. You could totally be a sweety and make a huge attempt to see her like take a bus route to goto her house, or bring he a small gift or something, and also you could tell her that it is difficult right now to see each other because of the lack of car but you will see each other more in 3 months, but that she doesnt have to worry because you two can make an effort to make it work

how can i make time to change my tampon at school? i never have time in between classes, and i dont like to leave the class w/ my purse b/c everbody would know. i usually don't put stuff in mypurse b/c all my friends go through it. i usually ut stuff in my lunch box, and change during lunch. can any of u give me advice on how to manage it?

What i always do is if you are wearing flared jeans or something yo ucan put the tampon in your sock and pull your socks up high so it doesnt fall out

No there is nothing wrong with you!! If you are a very athletic person your period usually does not come until later. It's not a problem!
You are just taking your time devloping, consider yourself lucky!!! I know you may not think so but you are lucky you haven't gotten it yet, periods are so stressful and cost money for pads and such so just be happy that you havent got it yet
What is the difference between thongs and g-strings? I always thought they were the same.
A thong is where there is not a full back, on the butt area its a piece of material thats probably about an inch wide.
A g-string is where the butt material is actually just like a piece of string. It is very thin about 2 cenitmeteres thick and basically is like a string on your butt.

Like millions of other people, i suffer from severe depression. I've tried Zoloft which had a NASTY effect and do not wish to try it again.
Can anyone recommend a good anti-depressant, one that will actually work without the side effects?
I know most of you will reply by saying that i should visit a Doctor. But hey, i don't trust them because they don't know what they're talking about anyway.
I have tried 2 different antidepressants and they didn't do anything for me! Can I ask you something, how do you manage to take Zoloft if you didn't see a doctor? because at my drug stores you have to have a prescribtion for it. (I live in Canada) . Sorry that I didn't answer your question!!
ok i was hangin out with my bf who i only get to see wednesday, friday saturday n sometimes sunday bc we go to diff skools n stuff...and hes PERFECT i love him alot n weve been goin out for about 4 months...well he ALWAYS forgets to call me or watever but today was reallie pissing me off...last nite i told him to call me when he got home n to not forget so he laffed n wrote it on his hand n he neevr called...and today we wer gonna plan to do something since we both have it off and he didnt call ALL day! i decided i wasnt gonna call him bc its up 2 him to call me now! wat shuld i tell him when he finalyl does call? i kno hes gonna make up some excuse on why he ddint call or he wont bring it up at all...how can i bring it up n tll him wat he did wat messed up..
This happened with my boyfriend and I, he always would forget to call and finally I said to him, ok honestly it really hurts when you don't call when you promised you would, its to the point where I think you dont care about me, and if you do care about me try harder to call and basically he called alot more or would remember more. You also have to keep in mind, some guys memories suck! so give him some leeway when he doesn't remember.
